I had a bad feeling about this happening... Their constant spamming for the WTA event and thread really made me uneasy. I'm glad I didn't check it out myself ;;. I don't have much to say other than that, but a friend of mine (doesn't wish to be named) ended up writing for a character and told me they were upset about not hearing anything back. Like, at all, but was too nervous to ask if their idea blurb was received especially because Nona's tone in replying is dry/intimidating.

Honestly, when I saw everything that went down I was panicking because it was so not cool. Because of the previous actions Nona took before the wta (the being rude with "not wanting to be tagged" stuff, it happened more than one occasion ofc), I got too scared to enter the wta. It's upsetting to see how this affected everyone, and how she took advantage of everyone. Everyone in all the threads tend to be really kind and warmhearted people, nobody deserved that. It's scary thinking that the ideas could be plagiarized.

Thank you, everybody who chipped in on making this. It's sad it even happened. ;n; I hope that everything goes smoothly from here on.

PaperTsubaki It really concerns me, because like cerviidae said, it's very possible with how they act. I think, the best way to keep it from happening, is to take the story you created and put it onto another character, that way it's there open for everyone to see that it's YOURS. Or make a literature thing with it, and put it in your gallery so that you can incorporate it somehow in the future. I don't know any other way to prevent it. I don't even know if they WILL do it, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I know how much everyone poured their heart into it, especially with the extended deadline letting everyone write more than they usually would. I just hope that you are able to figure out a way to use the story so that you feel more comfortable about the whole thing. ;n;

I'm really not convinced those pieces were traced, maybe they were referenced or inspired by at worst. The only thing that's similar is general angle and pose, and there's so many drawings like those, especially with the lions. The deer are all also in a well-used pose. I'm all for calling people out on this stuff but don't take it too far. They're alike, yes, but don't yell "tracer!" (possibly) unfairly.

I don't believe that there's anything wrong with the picture's you've loaded.  Yes, I do agree with Wanderways, they do look like they've been referenced, but I can't really see where any of the lines even match?  A lot of artists reference Disney pictures to draw their animals and while the images are the same size, I find it more of a weird coincidence then evidence of tracing.

When I was much younger I used to copy from anime screenshots.  Rather then trace I would copy line for line and try to figure out how to draw from that.  I'd say this falls into the latter of trying to figure out how to draw an image then tracing.
