And I looked at the TOS on Lagena's TOS but it isn't very clear, though it leans toward a 'no' on resell unless you purchased it originally.
Skullkin did not buy any of the art either the character had, it was everything I received with the character when I traded for it as well as the art I personally purchased. So they did not contribute any monetary value to the design whatsoever. Therefore they've no right to resell it for cash profit.
I am still waiting for an official answer from Lagena currently though on the verdict.
But the PSA is still valuable since Skullkin seems to think they have the right to sell ANY design they own regardless of creator TOS's.
And they've now also removed credits, cheated around owner right restrictions, and not properly credited artists for their art.
It is someone that others should be very wary of when trading their characters to.
I originally posted this on the main PSA thread but have been encouraged to make it a proper public PSA.
I've encountered an issue with the user Skullkin trying to resell characters that were traded to them.
I traded designs with them a while ago, exchanging them an anthro rabbit design by Lagena for an anthro design that they had. I had been originally traded the anthro rabbit design myself and the ownership page rights were specifically set to reflect that the design could be retraded and regifted but not resold. I noticed today though that the design was pending a sale to another user and I commented on the page to notify them that the character could not be resold, only traded. My comment was deleted. So I reposted my comment and Skullkin responded claiming that because I did not specifically tell them that it couldn't be resold, that they had the right to resell it. They claimed that they had a right to resell any design they owned. I remember an issue similar to this popping up in the past with someone having their own TOS for trades to give themself the ability to resell anything.
So I guess this is a small PSA to watch out for Skullkin who will resell designs that you trade to them, whether they are allowed for resell or not.

Since our interaction Skullkin has now deleted the character completely and reuploaded it to change credits as they please.
They have not given proper credit to the original artist, have changed the rights to resell to approve, and labeled themself artist of the art.

actually I think you should. i went to go take a look at their account and they reuploaded the character you're talking about so the character permissions are set to can be resold. screenshot album link. new character page link.
it looks like they just did that too and were in the process of reuploading all the art when I nabbed screenshots. maybe you could let the original designer know what's going on? if you know who it is ofc

Skullkin has since deleted the character Candyghouls traded them, left off the original artist and is now putting themselves down as the artist of all of the art on the character. The ownership page now reads that they can gift, trade or resell the character.

Since this is resurfacing again, I got this character as a chibi from Skullkiin. I knew of their reputation, and asked around a small group of people to see if they recognized this one, and said no. It didn’t have a TH or credit when I bought it. It was being sold on a forum on FurVilla and I’d like to know if anyone here would be able to tell me if this is a genuine creation of Skullkiin’s or if this is someone else’s that needs credit.
I’ve since stopped even looking at their sales tabs and have pretty much unsubscribed from them all together. I’d just love to know if there is anyone who needs credit for this character’s chibi.

So they are back up in the adoption forums looking to buy adopts and I really really urge people to be careful of this person. Im putting this up as a warning to traders. PLEASE Be read this PSA and all the information it has to offer and think carefully before you sell your adopts to this person.

They seem to have deleted all characters outside of the ones they created now? So they'll probably continue their deeds off-site with another name. I doubt this person has any wants to change their behaviour.
