Not sure if this is the right forum but I kinda want help with something;;
So I accepted an offer from someone where they did a small amount of points and two pieces of art. The points were sent as normal.
However when they offered art they gave me only digital examples, so I assumed it’d be digital, but instead they made it traditional, and that wasn’t very nice because the camera quality isn’t the best;; I don’t think I would’ve accepted the offer if I had known they’d make it traditional.
All of this happened on Amino, and to those of you who don’t know, Amino is an app which corrupts the image quality COMPLETELY, so all transactions made on Amino end in an email or a stash link to avoid just that. When the person finished their offer I decided not to ask them to digitalize it because I didn’t wanna bother or come off like I disliked the result, but I asked that they emailed or sent me a stash link just so I could at least have the images in a reasonable resolution.
This was last month and they still haven’t emailed it to me; I messaged them today again and they told me they sent an email, but I never received anything.
What do I even do in a situation like this? I feel like it was unfair on me because I really did love the character they offered for. Do i just accept the low quality images and give them the character already? Is it morally wrong to refund the points and cancel the transaction even though they did make the art?

Imo.. you should've asked for the digital versions since that's what they offered but you accepted the traditional so, if email is not working you can ask them to send them via stash link or Google drive or even discord
If someone showed me all digital examples and then gave me traditional I would ask them to redo the art digitally. They didn't give you what was offered, they gave you something with a lower quality and wasn't what you agreed to. While you've accepted the art initially, it's not too late to say something now imo.
RyverWren has a good point at well, and I agree with them about asking for better quality links, though I would also ask them to scan the photos or work on the photo in an art program to make it posting quality.

RyverWren thanks for the input! I was a bit afraid I’d come off as mean or something. I really wish they made them digital, but nonetheless I’ll give them another couple of days to email/stash me the hq version before cancelling it I guess… thanks for commenting!
SquidsInTheAttic Thanks for the response! I was honestly so confused because I had seen them around and I never knew they even did traditional art?
I’ll consider just waiting for them to give me the stash link or email or whatever and leave it at that and not accept their offers again, but since I really like the character I do think I’ll cancel the transaction if they still refuse to do that.

You actually need a deviantArt account to access sta.sh, which the person clearly has since they paid me deviantArt points; the problem, i think, is that they seem a bit unwilling to take the time to upload the image anywhere or email it to me :cc But thank you so much, that's really helpful!!
