Anyone interested in creating a CS with me?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this or not, but I guess it can be moved elsewhere if not.

I'm going to start by saying I've always loved writing and have been wanting to create my own mythical creatures/species for my own stories for awhile now, but I never really thought of the idea of Closed Species or even Open Species until now. The main reason being that I'm not an artist. At all. I'm just a writer but I'm in serious need of some DA points. Not only to commission artists who accept them, but in order to be able to buy other adopts I may like, instead of relying on having to trade my generator made ones all the time. Plus, I currently have an outfit on hold for me that I would really like for one of my characters and I'm DA broke. (And unable to buy with real money.)

So...I was wondering if anyone would want to make a closed species (or even open species) with me, that we could offer adopts and customs and get some Cash or DA points rolling in for?

While you would have to be the one who would do all the artistic work (which I am truly sorry about) I would be more than happy to contribute in every other way. From the actual development of the species, to coming up with specific designs, to writing the lore for our species. (If you're not much of a writer, I could even be the one who takes over this job fully. We would still create the lore together of course, but I can be the one to write it down officially if you'd like.) So it would still be a partnership even though you're the one doing all the actual artwork.

In addition to interest, I do have a few more questions I would like to ask of my potential partner.

- Would you be okay with doing a sort of split-payment agreement with me? It doesn't have to be a 50/50 agreement especially since, like I said, you're the one who's going to get stuck drawing all the designs/art. Like I'd be okay with 20% or something. But again, as I stated before, in addition to helping come up with the species and designs and all of that stuff, I could also take care of writing out all the lore information and basics about them if you wanted.

- Would you be okay with me using our closed-species in any of my stories? I know I'd be the partial owner of this species, but since this would be our species and not just mine, I would also like your okay/go-ahead to use them in some of my original works. I would of course mention this in the acknowledgments section of said story, and that we're both the owners. But I never like to do things without permission. It's just who I am.

- Would you be okay with me giving a few individuals of our closed-species to some of my friends? Assuming they were interested in our species of course. These would be just a few very close, very dear artist friends who love Adopts and making new OCs. These particular friends have been there for me through a lot and have done so much for me as well, including giving me characters or doodling them for me without asking for anything in return. One of them is even making me a Legolas plushie, and not asking for any money. So if they're interested, I would love to give them at least one each.

- Would you be okay with me asking other artists to draw my individual(s) of our species, or would you prefer to be the only one I ask?

- Would you want me to somehow pay you for my individuals of the species, (especially since I'll probably want more than one.) If so, would you be okay with me paying you by allowing you to keep my portion of the sales we get, until they're paid off and then we resume the split payment agreement? (As that's really my only option.)

- This question may be sort of a stupid one, but I'll ask anyway... would you be interested in offering customs as well as adopts and what not? And would you be okay with me offering that option to some of the artists here who trade their characters. Again, you'd end up having to draw them, and you would be partial owner, so I want to make sure it's okay with you. As far as repaying you goes if you're cool with this, I could ask that they let you look through their tradeables too, or again just temporarily give up my portion of the next one(s) that are sold until we're even again?

As far as questions go, that's all I have for you. I do have a few things I'm NOT willing to take part in design wise. But it's a pretty small list I think.

- Species that is gore/horror based species

- Anthros or Feral based species. (Humanoids only please!)

- Space-related ones (This is more of a "at the time" thing opposed to a permanent, "I'm never going to be interested in this kind of thing" I would just prefer something more mythology/folklore based right now)

- Species that can only be found in "olden" times. Like I don't want this to be Medieval or Victorian time period only. I'd like them to be able to be found in modern times too. Even if they are more rare nowadays.

I also prefer that we make natural-colored skin an option at least. This doesn't have to mean they can ONLY have natural colored skin, but I don't want ones that are unnatural skin-tone only either.

But other than that, I'm pretty much up for anything. So if anyone's interested, please ping or message me, and we'll see what we can work out. (I suggest any creation stuff is discussed in message only, but feel free to answer my questions here or what not.)
