MYO Information
☆ What are Occulari? ☆
Occulari are a complex alien species from their homeworld Occularum. They have made contact with Earth in order to exchange resources and attempt to integrate into their society to form stronger bonds.
Occulari are defined by a few specific characteristics :
☆Multiple Eyes with Unique Pupil Shapes
☆Pointed Ears
☆Sharp Teeth
☆Claws
☆Flesh-Covered Horns
☆Thick, Sturdy Tails
☆Specialized Tongues
☆Multiple Arms and Fingers
☆Unique Markings
☆Enhanced Mental and Physical Abilities
☆Occulari are highly intelligent and thrive in complex social constructs, much like humans do. Their supreme leaders are an elected high council (5 members) and their government runs much like ours does. The planet is split into regions, mostly geographically, and over each region there is a "governor" of sorts. The role of this person is to handle any and all issues, much like a president/queen/emperor would do. This is broken up into smaller sections, like states, and on down to cities and towns/villages. Of course individual societies vary by location and region.
☆Although most Occulari still live on their home planet, some have migrated to Earth in hopes of establishing a good and peaceful relationship with the humans. They have elected an ambassador and are attempting to acclimate to life on this different planet! Every so often a new shipment of hopefuls will arrive on Earth! It's your job to sponsor them and teach them how our society works!
☆For their first few months up to a year on Earth, the Occulari will wear different versions of the spacesuit they arrived in, just like a uniform. Once they start to settle, they are permitted to adjust to human fashion standards. However clothing will have to be modified to suit their extra body parts. This has caused more and more specialty clothing shops to open, catering to extraspecies.

Occulari are only slightly larger than humans, with the average being around 5'6 - 5'8 up to 6'6 at their tallest.
They weigh proportionally to humans, and this can fluctuate depending on lifestyle.
☆Occulari are not monogamous, meaning that they can and will take on more than one partner at a time. (up to 4 being in a relationship with each other.) This is a very similar concept to polyamory/polygamy. Their relationships are long-lasting and the internal workings mimic that of humans. However you are not limited to this, if you want them to be monogamous they can be!
☆They can be in relationships with humans, however there are cultural differences and a lot of that will have to be worked out before they can be happy.
☆They are relatively low-maintenance in relationships, however there is a courting stage in which several suitors will be considered until the Occularus decides on 1 - 3 in which to be with.
☆Occulari have similar genitals to humans, and reproduce in the same way, bearing live young. The gestation period is 18 Earth-months.
☆There are two binary genders, male and female, and an array of non-binary genders, just like humans. As children, they maintain a gender-neutral orientation until they reach maturity, (at roughly 25 earth years), which they will decide for themselves. This has no affect on their sexual organs, and their society does not define gender by this construct, unlike humans.
☆Sex and reproduction with Occulari works the same way as humans, and Occulari will breast feed their newborns, just like humans (this only applies to the female sex, as they have the breasts for it.)

Each of these slots allows you up to a specific rarity for your MYO.
