aka guess who wanted some pet sharks...
Another CS project in the works, this one is from the same universe as "Kotsujaki / Bonesnake Oni". Wanizameki are also a yokai-based, sea demon closed species.
With maybe some pirate themes.
Doing interest check if anyone might be interested in future adopts of them + there is also a pinglist for anyone who'd like to be notified of big species updates like species launch or MYO slot availabilities etc. feel free to let me know if you'd like to be added!✨

About Wanizameki ☠️🦈
Wanizameki are classified as a type of「新不明鬼」"Shinfumeiki" or "Demons of the New Unknown". Shinfumeiki demons are demons that have been newly discovered and not had enough information documented about them. It’s a concept that Wanizameki (and also my other WIP Closed Species, Kotsujaki) lore exists under, and more species of demons may be introduced under this concept in the future.
The Wanizameki closed species is based off the famous Oni「鬼」+ Isonade「磯撫で」a shark demon, of Japanese mythology.
Due to their distinguishing features and origin, they are also known as “Ferroshark Oni”. The kanji is broken down as follows:「鰐鮫」Ferocious Shark, and「鬼」Oni / Demon. The kanji for「鰐鮫」can also be broken down into "crocodile / alligator" and "shark".

Appearance & Traits 👹
Overall Appearance
A Wanizameki's base appearance is a hybrid of a regular Oni yokai (upper humanoid half), and a shark demon (lower "mermaid" half) . Their size / height is similar average human sizes as well, or more accurately as sea creatures, mermaid sizes.
- Horns - usually growing on their forehead
- Teeth - similar to sharks' jaws
- Fingernails - long and sharp nails / claws grow from their hands
- Shark body - lower half of their body is similar to a mermaid's except that they have a shark's half instead of a fish's.

Wanizameki are sea demons with the combined ferocity of sharks and oni.
Sea Mercenaries
As of the current known information on Wanizameki, they are commonly encountered as sea mercenaries. Wanizameki either work solo, in schools (of sharks) or form mutually beneficial relationships with seafarers.
Pirate's Steed
In their shark forms, Wanizameki have immense strength and speed as sea demons. Because of their usefulness in both travel and as battle steeds, they tend to be a favourite partner of pirates.

Wanderweisen 新不明鬼 demons can use the same info template, but yeah I did put a link on the Shengxiao server! Although it probably got pushed away by the newer posts 🤔
