Spobbins are a humanoid CS based around spools. Their body is composed of a single type of material, and there are eight natural types, wool, metal, fur, plastic, vines, silk, heartstrings and DNA. Each variety has slightly different physical traits.
Spobbins are a peaceful and relaxed species who live to repair things made of the same material as their thread (or varieties of it, such as different types of metal). Their thread is much stronger than the standard material. Spobbins can also manipulate their thread type to a certain degree, being able to change its shape with their bare hands, such as changing a sheet of metal into a wire, no matter how hard this would be for others.
However, Spobbin has a limited quantity of thread, stored in spools on their arms, legs and in a ponytail, and once they run out, they die. Though it is possible to "restock",  but as this means damaging something it goes against most's morals.
Not all Spobbins use their thread for completely practical purposes. Some make clothes or trinkets, occasionally trading with others that they trust, whether they are a Spobbin or not. Some are kind and trusting to a fault, and can be gullible and easily fooled.

Vines/Silk - Rare
Heartstrings/DNA - Legendary (currently off-limits, but will be released in the future)

Spobbins are primarily real currency free. Adopts created by me will always be given away without real currency involved and MYO tickets will be given away in a similar vein. Check the TOS for more info and rules about this. The species functions with a species currency called Buttons, which you can buy MYO tickets and items for your Spobbins with. They can be acquired by creating content, be it art or writing, for your or other people's Spobbin. 

The species mascot is Red, a gentle metal Spobbin.
