Taking idea 3 :)
idea #1; a species that looks sorta like a bull mixed with a bear (not just a bear with bull horns or a bull with bear ears, actual subtle anatomy mixing n stuff), but also a bit demonic, probably related to the sin of greed or smthn? Idk, based off of the idea of bear and bull markets, probably do hell’s version of the stock market with souls. Closed but in a weird way that makes them open; anyone can make adopts, but you can only get them via said adopts. Yeah, you can probably make an adopt and then buy it yourself, weird loophole but ok. Fraud and stuff like that is fine with demons, it’s hell they don’t really care about financial loopholes.
Idea #2; An alien species based around insects, which has sort of a hive/Queen system... HOWEVER, the hives n such are treated more like family units and not like entire governments, as for their government it’s honestly pretty normal government-wise, a little like what you may see here on Earth. Yes, they have political parties. No, they do not know how many.
Idea #3; Some sort of demon that has a balloon for a tail (or, at least an organ that resembles a balloon). It floats around the world, using its cloaking abilities to turn invisible and seem like a normal balloon. Used for either reconnaissance, or for making airplanes and other flying vehicles crash in case hell is in need of a big influx of souls at the moment. No, they can not pick you up and fly away with you. Yes, they can mess with you and annoy you, while using their balloon tail to stay just out of reach of the broom you’re trying to smack them with.
Idea #4; Am eldritch creature that haunts graveyards, sucking up the souls there like a vacuum as it lingers, preventing them from reaching the afterlife. In physical form, it disguised itself as the appearance of one of the souls it has consumed. In ethereal form, it seems like a four-legged wingless bird with a smoky foxes tail, some parts of its body porous and soft like a sponge. Eventually, however, the souls it has sucked up drain out of it. To where these sucked souls go, is unknown.
Idea #5; A hedgehog-looking creature, but instead of spines it looks like it has toenail clippings covering its body. It hides in jars belonging to those who collect toenail clippings, eating their toenail clippings before using the jar as a den to live in, while it sneaks out to steal food from the pantry at night.
Aaand those are the weird species ideas I have. I don’t plan on using any of them, so if any of y’all wanna use em, go right ahead.
