♦ What is Ptitheros - What are Ptithians ♦
Ptithians are the species who inhabit Ptitheros. There are many types of ptithian. The five main species (and most common) are Lefikas, Rubasyns, Taroots, Dragons, and Gryphons!

Ptithian designs are extremely freeform! There are hardly any color or shape limits and you can mix species to get traits you did not have access to initially. You also have complete freedom to redesign characters, even alter their lineage a bit too. Species choice does not affect magic abilities either.
Ptitheros is designed to be an expandable world where you can place all sorts of characters!
It is sci-fi fantasy with a huge range of themes depending on the world location. Overgrown medieval towns, endless sandy deserts, flashy cyberpunk space stations, steampunk floating cities, forgotten underground ruins, liminal pink dreamscapes, and so much more!
The Ptitheros universe has customized/original EVERYTHING! Geography, locations, science, culture, religion, infrastructure, astronomy, animals...

What is collective worldbuilding?
Members of the community contribute to the world's story through building their own characters and making suggestions.
Why are they an open-species?
The Ptitheros team doesn't want any barrier for those wanting to join Ptitheros. Create all the characters you want and don't worry about nonsense like grinding, myos, or breeding events.
Can I trade for a ptithian?
Yes! Ptithians can be traded for.
Do I need a Toyhouse to own a ptithian?
A Toyhouse is not required, but staff supplies free codes if wanted.
Can I redesign my ptithian?
Yes! Most redesigns must be recognizable to the original.
Can I resell my ptithian?
Yes! Ptithians can be resold. This accounts for additional art.
Can I be a guest artist?
While we do have 'trusted artist' roles, you don't need permission to make and sell ptithians. As long as the design is approved, do with it what you please.

i've been in the discord for about a year(or more, i don't keep track) and love it! everyone is super friendly and staff are wonderful. you get fast response to all questions and have plenty of places to post art! i definitely have made friendships within the server, and it's a bunch of fun to draw characters together.
the interaction is probably my favorite thing about ptitheros! it's so easy to meet new people and have conversations. i believe the rp aspects are being remade and polished but rping within the community was a blast!
would recommend to anyone looking to get involved with an art/rp based community. you can claim an MYO when you first join or can pick from the sanctuary! there's also an event in progress and anyone can participate.
im not staff, nor am i being held hostage to post about this amazing group, but i would definitely recommend anyone to join if interested :)
Ptitheros World is such a wonder place for a CS Group! I’ve been there for a year and it have definitely made my world brighter! I’ve been able to sharpen my are skills and make lots of new friends!
everyone has been so nice and helped me with any art troubles. I believe this is a great place to join if you are first staring CS groups or needs a good friend to talk to! ^^

Dragonhorse Thanks for your interest! You can join by clicking the "Join our Discord" button in the middle of the post, I also recommend going to the world (button on the left that says "Toyhouse World") and requesting membership, but the World membership is optional.

but there is no black text on the ad on our end, there is white text and some muted off-white text. if you are using light-mode on Toyhouse, the theme may be overriding the color codes to make the text black, so switching to a dark mode should fix the legibility issue.
I love being a part of this community!! I can get easily overwhelmed in big servers, but the Ptitheros server has been nothing but friendly and welcoming! The world lore is a really fun read, it’s broken up on the TH page into really manageable chunks, and it has lots of room for people to insert their own characters into the story. I’ve found the character creation process really freeing compared to other groups I’ve been in, with very open guidelines allowing me to make pretty much every character idea I’ve come up with. I’ve also found that people in the server tend to get really passionate about their characters and stories, so when building lore with other people there’s very minimal fear of that story being discarded by someone trading/selling their characters away. Overall I’ve very much enjoyed being an active community member, and I plan to stay in the community for the years to come!
