In the depths of the woods you hear a pitter-patter of small feet around you. They seem so light yet so loud in the silence that surrounds you. From between the undergrowth you spot a glowing wisp, hovering up and down. You lean in and see a small head peeking through the leaves. 

“Oh no not another fae-”

Faetins can be very different from each other though they must share certain traits:

• Two legs only, they may be paws or claws
• Small body and height, none over 50cm in height. 
• Floppy ears with small cuts that resemble paper-ish fingers
• Must have a fate wisp!

Everything else is up to you! You can make a simple and pretty Faetin or go absolutely bonkers and slap as many traits on it as you want!

They tend to wear objects on their head, these can range from flowers to daily objects. 

Horns and small wings are allowed. Fates can also take on any shape. 

Their bodies may have any sort of texture: fur, scales, wool or exposed skin is all valid.

There's no way of telling male and female Faetins appart- thats because Faetins are all the same (to an organic/biological level) ! 

Faetins don't reproduce directly with each other. They just sorta spawn in the world… 

Faetins choose their own gender!

Faetin behavior

Do not be fooled by these cute beings’ appearance, most of them do come across pesky and avoid communicating with other Faetins. Of course, this doesn't mean that all Faetins are antisocial, many are very friendly too!

The main reason Faetins don't socialize with one another and usually avoid being in the same areas is because they are scared of getting their Fate snatched by someone else.

It has happened many times, and some Faetins just lurk the woods taking others Fates! Upon doing this the victim turns to stone. 

The most typical relationship between Faetins is “enemies”, “fought eachother” and “do not look at me”.

Another remarkable personality trait Faetins have is that they are extremely attracted to shiny objects. You could say they have “crow brains”. 

They are little cleptomaniacs, so keep any precious objects out of a Faetins reach. 

Faetins communicate through high pitched screams, they sound like cats mewling while their food is being prepared. “Mweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-”  See example

Faetins can vaguely speak other languages and be understood by other species, although they aren’t very good at grammar, their message gets across. 

They all share a big love for plants and flowers.
