Story
What the Queen desires, the Queen gets. For her army, she wanted mindless, empty shells that could control magic, and so her scientists tried to create those. They tried, again and again, each time getting a little bit closer to their end goal. One fateful day, the finally managed to create one : the first artificial demon, named A-1. The first Anamor. She looked young and innocent, contrary to all demons. She was made of transparent, tinted glass. Her eyes looked emotionless. She was the perfect weapon, or at least, she would be if she knew how to use magic. She was simply an empty shell, made to look like a demon. The scientists decided to use a crystal imbued with magic they found in the Nameless Plains on A-1, thinking it would make her able to use magic. But she did not react the way they hoped : her horns started to transform into tricolor crystals, her pupils started melting and she let out a resonating shriek, which made sharp crystals grow all around her. The scientists managed to evade her attacks and contained her, before sending her to the Nameless Plains, a stark and colorless place. What they did not know was that multiple portals were located in the Nameless Plains, all leading to different places in the world. And so, A-1, who named herself Io, started wandering, going from world to world. This first failure did not stop the scientists and the Queen, who requested even more Anamors ; but each and every one of them was a failure. They were mutants, able to fight. But what made them so different from the other demons was that they could feel emotions, and even feel empathy.
