Floralsapien Arcanum

Floralsapien Arcanum are nature spirits that take the physical form of anthromorphic animals.


Physiology

The bodies of Floralsapien Arcanum typically consist of plant materials held together by mana (magical energy given off by certain species of flora). Fire is a common weakness of Florosapien Arcanum, they've developed a way to preserve themselves, even when their physical bodies are damaged beyond repair. When this happens, they turn into a hard-shelled seed (creatively named a Soul Seed) and grow a new body from it. Florosapien Arcanum are able to change their appearance at will, so long as theres a fresh supply of plant material nearby. While many Floralsapien Arcanum can be found in Lush, overgrown forests, some may be found around the woods of villages, acting as it's protector.



Psychology

While Floralsapien Arcanum tend to be peaceful, nature loving creatures, If a forest they protect is threatened or put in danger, the Floralsapien Arcanum will relentlessly hunt down the attacker and throw every ounce of magical energy they have to dispell the attacker from their territory. Floralsapien Arcanum tend to be more intelligent than most other beings, and as such, are typically looked upon as excellent sources of knowledge and wisdom.



Abilities

Many Florosapien Arcana are gifted with inate magical abilities, and are able to preform Forest Magic at a young age. Forest Magic allows the user to Communicate/control plant life, telepathically communicate with any species of fauna in their understood language, and near-instantly grow any form of flora previously encountered and touched. While Forest Magic is the signiture magic of Floralsapien Arcanum, some are able to learn other types of magic, with enough determination and practice.
