(IC) Dovals, a open species!

Hello! I'm new here and i don't know my way around anything, so i apologize for any mistakes in this. This is my first post, and it's going to be about my open species! 

They are a race of dream beings, and exist in their own little dimension/kingdom. Many mythologies and cultures have different names for them, but to them, their name is Dovals. They are mostly bipedal (feral variations exist!) beings that come in pastel colors, and the traits that ALL of them have are:

-Their color pallete is pastel.
-They have a pillow, which may come in many shapes and sizes, in their chest. It serves as protection for their exposed heart, in a open chest cavity. It is removable at will, but only by the Doval.
-They possess the ability to enter anyone's dreams (unless the individual has some kind of strong mind protection) with benevolent intentions.
-Their diet is based on nightmares. Dovals devour nightmares themselves, causing only sweet and calming dreams to be left behind for the dreamer to enjoy.
-They resemble a animal, or a mix of animals.
-Their skin is made out of fabric, silk or velvet, and their meat is cotton and feathers.
-Their arms/front paws are very big.

This species enjoy entering people's dreams to not only feed on their nightmares and fears, but also make a enjoyable, sweet night for them. They can come back many times, even befriend the dreamer! They have a preference for people who have suffered much, as they enjoy turning pain into happiness.
Most of them have a soft, dense mane, and their rarity is based on the animal they're based from.

Common: Goat, Sheep, any Caprines, Bovines or Equines, and most herbivorous animals.
Uncommon: Mammal carnivores such as Wolves, Foxes, Lions, Cats, Dogs
Rare: Reptilians, Dragons, Bats and Hybrids.

They came exctint after the attack of another nightmare species i'm developing, however, Queen Gillen, the last left alive, worked hard on bringing them back!
