I was surprised to see that this thread didn't exist yet. It sounds like a fun idea, so let's give it a chance! <:
How to play
- Post IC as the character you'd like to see dressed. You can include very small limitations, like "no skimpy outfits" for example, or character design notes like "keep in mind the wings" or "he can't get his paws into shoes".
- Draw the OC of the person above you in the outfit of one of your OCs. Doesn't have to be the OC you posted as, just one you'd think would look interesting on the character.
- Edit the post to include the drawing.
Rules
▶︎ Flat colour fullbody is the minimum, more is allowed.
▶︎ Any and all species are allowed, provided they can wear clothing in the first place.
▶︎ This is a SFW art thread, so please don't draw an outfit showing any explicit bits.
▶︎ For traditional art, please use white clean paper without lines and scan/photograph the piece in high quality. Badly photographed pieces will be considered unfinished.
▶︎ You CAN transform, edit, or add pieces to your character's outfit to better fit the character above, for example when drawing a humanoid's outfit on a feral or when drawing a pantsless outfit on a humanoid.
▶︎ Don't take the rules on allowed designs below too strictly. If you think you can transform your OC's outfit into one that works on the character above you, go for it!
▶︎ If you posted and finished, wait three people before posting again.
▶︎ One claim at a time. Only claim again if you finished your old claim.
▶︎ Please don't claim if you can't complete within a month. If you take longer, I'll send you a reminder and a deadline. Failure to complete will result in a ban.
▶︎ Edit 15/9: please tag the person you are claiming! That way mix-ups are much easier to spot and correct before any art is drawn. You can tag a person by typing @username without the /, like ElithianFox. Or just type out their name, as long as it's clear who you're claiming!
▶︎ Note for people who are filling in unfilled claims: please choose an outfit from your own characters to draw the character of the person you're filling in for in, not one from the person who didn't complete their part!
Please only use characters who have enough of an outfit to draw the character above you in! Below are some examples of outfits that work and that don't work.
Allowed outfits
▶︎Outfits showing lots of skin, but still showing detail
(Note: if the outfit is topless and the character you're drawing has breasts, please give them some sort of matching top to keep things SFW)
▶︎Revealing outfits on ferals/anthros that can be made SFW by making small additions
(For example: a feral with only an intricate backpack and bracers being converted into a human with the backpack, bracers, leather pants, and a loose shirt)
▶︎NSFW outfits where the fur of the character you're drawing makes it SFW anyway
▶︎Simple/more standard outfits with some defining elements that make them unique
▶︎Anything else
Some examples of the above list that would be allowed:
Disallowed outfits
▶︎Naked or mostly naked, like when wearing only jewellery or underwear/lingerie
▶︎Uncovered nether region
(This'll be disallowed because most participants will be humanoids and this is a SFW thread. If the character you're dressing up is an animal with conveniently placed crotch covering up fur, that's an exception to this rule!)
▶︎Barebones outfit that lacks basic detail, like a blank shirt and regular jeans
(Try to use outfits with some interesting pieces, patterns, or stuff like that! Simple is allowed as long as it ain't generic and standard.)
▶︎Outfits that cover the entire character and make it impossible to actually identify the character themselves

Ic please <3 Just make sure to keep his hooves and wings in mind! (wings probably can’t fit into any shoes, and wings are on lower back/right above his butt, not middle back like normal). He’s a Popun, so if you get confused the species info might help out!
