Welcome to the new forum thread for the original Toyhouse OC Games! A game where you get the chance to receive a mass amount of free art of your original character!
24 Contestants will volunteer their OC to take a run through the Hunger Games Simulator packed with new, custom events! The 24 OCs will fight their way through matches until we are left with only 1 OC standing! The last one standing will receive 23 pieces of artwork as a trophy; 1 piece from each of the other contestants. The game will be hosted once a month to ensure everyone has enough time to finish their pieces before the next game begins!
(Also, as a quick note, this is the new thread because the original was started by Taiyaki !! Shout-out to them for creating a great thread and idea, and thanks for entrusting the continuation to me! I'm excited to be your guys' host going forward.)
Excited yet? Hold on a moment! We have to go over the rules first! NOTE: I've updated some of the rules, even if you've read them before, please re-read so we're on the same page! Thank you!
- By entering this game, you are agreeing to draw at least one colored image of the winning OC whether it is a sketch, pixel, headshot, fullbody, shaded, un-shaded, ect. It MUST be colored.
- From this point forward (starting the February Games) you MUST join the Discord server linked below to see the results for each game. I will no longer be making a separate google doc for the games, as it's a lot of work on top of the responsibilities I already have. Thank you for understanding!
- Once the game has reached its closing and the winner is announced, you will have until the posted due-date to complete your artwork. If you need extra time, please PM me for an extension! You will be blacklisted from the game if you do not complete your artwork in the time allowed to you.
- All participants can enter only one OC each. The OC must have a colored reference. For the sake of eye strain, Gaia or other small pixel avatars do not count as a reference image, sorry.
- Please only enter Human/Humanoid characters! I realize this can be a pretty broad interpretation, so I will judge whether or not we'll allow OCs on a case-by-case basis. If you're looking for a similar game with animal OCs, the Feral thread is here and the Anthro thread is over here!!
- The person who won the last month's Games will not be allowed to participate again until at least 1 game has passed since their win, to avoid repeat winners.
- People of all skill levels are allowed to join! If you belittle someone over their art you will be blacklisted from the game. This is a game for fun with the chance for free art, be kind and courteous to others!
- The game will be held live in a rabb.it stream that will be linked in the Discord Server. Due to time differences, not everyone will be able to watch but all screenshots will remain there! We will hold a majority vote in the server to discuss what time I'll stream the games.

- A square image of your OC; Headshots preferred.
- Your OC's name and pronouns. The simulator only supports he/him/his and she/her/hers pronouns at the moment so please choose one of those!
- A link to your OC's colored reference. It can be chibi or fullbody as long as it is colored.
- An example image of the art style you intend to draw for the winner.

Hey!! Does Humanoid include anthros? I know it usually is no, but I was wondering. I have a human oc I'll enter if not!
Ereth2 Currently we're not allowing anthros, I'm sorry! The classification the last owner used for humanoid is characters that are mostly human with a few animal traits, like animal ears and/or tail and stuff along those lines. In the future I hope to also allow anthro and feral characters, but if the group consensus is against it, I might host another separate OC Games for animal + animal-like characters since I have a lot of those myself and I hate to exclude anyone! Sorry again for the inconvenience!!

Colored ref (I'll try to draw a digital fullbody of him before the game ends)

- He's got a ref in his bio. On the off-chance he wins, I have a cleaner/larger version of his ref available, and I can offer a watermarkless version of the magic circle in his cape for copy-paste if anyone wants them. I don't mind "shorthand" of the filigree on his cape, as well.
- Examples: Here Honestly, the quality would be dependent on the OC itself. A super detailed OC would probably get a headshot/waist-up, something simpler might get a chibi or pagedoll, but if I'm super inspired by a well world-built character, they might get something a little fancier.
Pepperly While discord is not required to participate, it is strongly recommended so you can watch the games when they happen and keep updated on due dates and participate in future group activities! I'll add your OC to the tribute list for sure, but if you can join the Discord please do, we'd love to have you ;0;
