Hello there! I'm Dratz, and welcome to my art shop! I am a self-taught hobby artist, and draw mostly draw humans, dragons, and on occasion, some mecha/robots. Please feel free to ask any questions, and have a look around.

Some images may be watermarked with my tumblr url (saintgale), just as a headsup. Clicking on the sample images below will lead to full-sized pieces.

** Please note that if you want additional animations (such as in examples) like slight hair movement and shine across a surface like metal or glasses, it will cost extra. I will not do animations that require redrawing parts of the character (ex: swinging legs, flapping wings, etc.)

Details

Rules

By commissioning me, you understand that you are paying for a digital good, in the form of an image file. I do not send any form of physical item or copies of art.
It is your responsibility to save your image file(s). I will provide you with links to download, but I cannot guarantee that they won't break over time.
You will need to send full payment after approving a rough sketch of your commission. My prices are listed in US dollars (USD). I currently only accept USD payment via Paypal invoice (invoices will be sent after the rough sketch is approved).
If you fail to send payment within ten days of receiving your invoice, your slot may be subject to cancellation. Please let me know if you want to order and need more time to pay, are waiting for a paycheck, or something similar--I am happy to try to work something out with you in this case!
Progress shots can be PM'd upon request. I can only make minor corrections and tweaks once a piece is finished. I am happy to work with you to make sure your commission suits your tastes and needs, and usually send an update every few days as I progress to each "stage" of the drawing (ex: sketch, lineart, color).
All sales are final. Refunds are given solely at my discretion, in the event that I am unable to complete your commission.
I retain all rights to my artwork. Your commission is only for your own personal, non-commercial use (ex: printing the art as a sticker for yourself is okay, printing the art as sticker and then selling it is not okay). Please do not claim my work as your own, do not edit out my signature, do not use it to make profit, and properly credit me as the artist.
I reserve the right to post my artwork in other places, such as my personal blog and sketchbook thread. (If you don't want your commission posted, I am happy to oblige, just clarify with me when ordering!)
I reserve the right to turn down offers and edit/change the rules and prices as needed.

Will Draw

Dragons, monsters, and creatures.
Humans, Gijinkas, Humanoids.
Mechs, robots, heavy armor.
Wings, tails, horns, etc.
Mild blood, body horror, and gore.
Character/outfit designs, from text-only descriptions to pictures for inspiration/reference. I charge extra for these, please inquire if interested.
Want something else? Feel free to ask!

Won't Draw

Sexual or suggestive NSFW subjects, and subjects which promote hatred, bigotry, or are harmful/offensive.
Anthros (I'm just not good at them).
Human/humanoid skulls (animal skulls are okay).
Super muscular characters.
Multiple characters in a single picture.
Backgrounds (besides solid colors or color gradients).
Excess or very detailed fur/hair/feathers that cover the whole body (I can do it in smaller quantities, but may charge extra depending on the subject).

would custom mecha designs be something you'd be willing to take on? and if so, what the pricing for that look like? ovo

mozaik Yes, absolutely! For custom designs, I ask for +50% of the price of whatever art type you'd like (so for example, a custom, fullbody, flat color mech would be the $55 USD base price + the $22.50 design fee = $82.50 USD total cost). I'm happy to work with specifications such as keywords/themes, moodboards, written descriptions, etc., to something more like a prompt with free reign, or anything in-between. The only thing I'd ask please is that the design not be used commercially, and that it not resold for higher (unless of course you buy or make extra art, literature, etc. for the character in that second case). If you have any other questions about anything, please let me know! <3
