Sketch Art Trades -- closed --

As long as --open-- is written in the title I'm open to trade. Once we've both finished our parts, you are always welcome to trade again.

Trades will temporarily close for the month of July, since I plan to focus on making art for the artfight event

Ended up deciding to close this a little early. 

so basically I want to do some low-stress sketch art trades with who ever is interested. Any one is Welcome.

There are three options of trades to choose from, The sketchpage, The Couple, and The Characters w/Background. Some of these may have their own rules so be sure to read through them before requesting a trade.

you don't have to ask permission to do the art trade with me, feel free to be like "hey I wanna do an art trade, here's a few ocs of mine you can pick from, link A, link B, link C" and so forth. I intend to do an art trade with everyone who comes by, so if I don't reply and its been a day or so, check the Queue list down below, I probably added you to it and didn't say anything. 

All I expect from you is a single sketch (let's say a halfbody at minimum), if you want to do more that's up to you.

You are welcome to emphasize a preferred character, although I do ask that you offer a couple of OCs for me to pick from though. I'm comfortable with most character types (humanoid/anthro/feral), although I really like to draw dragons and pretty boys, and fantasy themed characters in general. I enjoy sketching complex designs so feel free to offer those up as well. (stuff like huge muscles or mecha I don't draw as often, so it make not look as good, although I am able to draw it). 

**I haven't had this come up yet but while I'm thinking about it, but please note that I won't draw characters with designs that would be considered NSFW as a whole.

**Also for Anthros with breasts, I ask that they have the options for clothing. (preferred that any anthro have a clothing option regardless of body type/features though)

For your part, feel free to draw any of my OCs on this account, I love all of them. Although, I do have a top favorites and an alt fave2 tag, as well as a need art tag if you want to jump straight to those. I tend to use my shapeshifting characters humanoid form in their icon, but I have a tag for ferals so you can find them more easily. Feel free to be as silly or serious as you want with any of them. 

I'll just be filling one piece of printer paper (8.5 x 11 in) with sketches for my part. I may draw one detailed sketch that takes up the whole page, or lots of looser smaller sketches that fill the page.

Please be aware that construction lines and minor mistakes will be present since I'm just using ballpoint pens, and can't erase. And if I work on these after work they may end up less "clean" then something drawn on a day off when I actually got a full night of sleep.

I try to do at least one full body or almost full body (I occasionally lose some feet or wings if I misjudge my space when I start)(I try to keep this drawing on the serious side). I tend to use information in the character's profile (such as likes, hobbies, profession, personality, etc) for ideas to fill up the rest of the space. If there's no profile I typically just do different poses and expressions. (some of the smaller drawings may be a bit of the sillier side)

Note: I scan the sketches at 100 dpi, if you would like a higher res (up to 600 dpi) feel free to message me, although files over 8 MB will only be available temporarily for you to download.

It normally shouldn't take me more then a few days for me to get these done (I generally work on art trades on Tuesdays and Thursdays (my days off) so maybe a week or two wait at max). if its been a couple days since you've finished, and I haven't finished yet, feel free to pm me for the status of my part. These shouldn't take very long though so hopefully delays won't be an issue, unless a lot of people end up wanting to trade. Also you can wait for me to finish and see the outcome to decide what you want to do if you want.

Going to put a time limit on these. Try to have your part done within 2 weeks after I finish my part. Remember the minimum is a halfbody sketch so don't push yourself to do something more unless you want to. I'll be pretty lax about this. I understand that life happens, it just gives me a timeframe to check in on you to make sure everything is going okay without me feeling too anxious that I'll be bothering you. 

Also you don't really have to ping/@ for me, I get notified when comments are made in this thread.
