STARRIER ARE A CLOSED SPECIES.
As of 15th March, 2020, you can not make your own. However, if you've obtained a MYO slot and want your Starriear's design to be officially recognized, please submit them either to this group or send a note to honeycove with the details, the better to keep record of the whole galaxy of them!

Starriear designs are for personal use only! This includes but is not limited to: Non-commercial/profit art, comics, stories/roleplay, etc. You may not use Starriear as a marketable product (i.e. items in a store, commercial or personal, with Starriear designs on them, etc).

You do not have to follow 100% of all Starriear lore. You do not have to use the official bases for MYO's either! Feel free to use your own lines when submitting your design, but note any non-personal, user-made bases cannot be marketed. They must be Free-to-Use.

Follow the Trait Rarity rules! Do not swap your Starriear's Common/Uncommon traits to Rare or higher traits without our knowledge, as that requires upgrading through payment or prize. You may swap Uncommon traits a Starriear has for Common ones and vice versa, but this "trait swap" must be for the same feature. (That is, a Common collar may be swapped for an Uncommon collar, but cannot be swapped with an Uncommon ear.)

You may edit colors, patterns, and non-Species Trait characteristics such as hair or clothes at your leisure, within reason of course. HOWEVER, ALL MAJOR EDITS MUST BE AUTHORIZED EITHER IN THE STARRIEAR GROUP, OR BY NOTING DETAILS TO honeycove. Please note that redesigns MUST resemble the original design to some degree, but we are willing to work with members on edit authorizations. Authorizing small edits isn't necessary, but greatly appreciated. Just nice to see.

Trade/Resell Rules
STARRIEAR MAY BE RESOLD/TRADED/GIFTED UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- They can not be resold for more than their original price. UNLESS they come with with extra pieces of art or otherwise commissioned material.
- Those initially obtained by Sale may be resold, traded, or gifted. Selling a design to blacklisted user is not allowed.
- Those initially obtained by Trade may be traded or gifted only. Trading a design to a blacklisted user is not allowed.
- Those initially obtained by Gift may be traded or gifted only. "Gift" can be a design obtained by one person for another's ownership, or one made by honeycove and simply given away. Gifting a design to a blacklisted user is not allowed.
- Those initially obtained by MYO or unused MYO slot may change ownership in the same manner (with the same rules) they were obtained by. Transferring a MYO design or slot to a blacklisted user in any way is not allowed.
General rule of thumb, Starriear are not for personal profit, please don't behave as though they are! But change happens, and you're allowed to re-home your designs within these rules.
