Costume Party

"Oh, Mr. Boddow, don't you just look lovely?" Charlotte chirped, finishing adjusting the Maizard's little cape. Yes, he made an excelent vampire, no one would dare to question that. His little corn cob had been altered with tones of a dark red. Lottie had arranged two little fangs that protuded outwards of his mouth as well. She had even confectioned a wee vampire cape, classic in it's two-toned appearance - red inwards, black outwards. It had been a little bit of a hassle, being such a small cape for a small pippet, but seeing it wrung around Mr. Boddow's little neck made it worth it, because he had turned out adorable in it.

As for herself, Lottie hadn't tried to match outfits with her pippet, instead opting to use her newly-made fairy costume. Little colored balls protuded from her head from springs, like little antennae. She had managed to acquire two sets of fairy wings as well, just like she'd seen a few pouflons sport in her outings before (except she was fairly certain those were very real). The translucid objects could fool quite a lot of lons who didn't inspect them closely enough, so Lottie was satisfied with them. To complete the ensemble, she'd gotten her hands (hooves?) on several colored stickers, depicting colored shapes and cute objects like strawberries. Overall, it was a simple costume, but cute enough to fit her tastes. Lottie liked to keep things simple whenever possible, while still conveying fairly well the concept she'd be going for, and she thought she managed to hit the bullseye with both hers and Mr. Boddow's outfit.

"Are you ready, Mr. Boddow?" The pouflon inquired, looking directly at those lively, intelligent eyes. Mr. Bringer of Death, Destroyer of Worlds had been given that name for a reason - Charlotte fully expected him to take over Bellacoste in his reign of doom one day. Perhaps he'd use today's opportunity to seize control as a mighty, invincible little vampire. The pippet expertly made use of its adherent lizard hands to climb up Lottie's arm, stationing himself firmly on her right shoulder. Charlotte happily trotted out the door, certain the both of them would be having a blast. One could only hope she wouldn't take that phrase too literally.
