He stood and watched as the large feline lying in front of him licked it's luminous paws, relaxed, at ease, as if it didn't even notice the figure before itself. The only thing that showed it knew he was there was its tail. It twitched and shivered sporadically, quivering towards the figure clad in white, longing to wrap around his ankles, to put him to sleep. But the massive cat lay still, licking its paws until it was certain they were clean. Only then did it raise its head. It fixed the man with its green stare, its white pupils could have fooled someone into thinking it was blind, if it weren't for how intense its stare was. The man unfolded his gloved hands from behind his back, but despite his feigned calmness, his hands shook with the slightest of tremors. He had waited patiently until the feline had finished grooming itself, because he knew he couldn't risk angering the creature, although he knew it was inevitable at some point. "Stalk." The man muttered, his voice deceptively calm, matching his manner. "How is it that I find you outside of the mind you were resigned?" He asked as nonchalantly as he could, watching as the creature moved to its feet, stretching pleasantly, so as to show off every inch of its patterned fur and rippling muscles. Its tail twitched and shuddered more than ever, spurts of the volatile green energy hitting the bright path beneath them. The man took a step back, though there wasn't much of a choice as to where he could escape. They were standing on a rectangle of glowing light, a platform. It was suspended in the midst of an infinite void, twinkling lights of other platforms spread out for light-years. This was Xynthia. Essence of energy, of the minds of billions.
