Storytime: Arctic Run

Storytime:

"Hey, when will you have to leave, Bario?" Asked a female voice."

I'll have to leave tomorrow. I don't want to but for my Job I need to go, Strawberry." Said a male voice this time.

The female named Strawberry started to look sad. "I would like to come with you, Midnight. But mother is not allowing it. She said that I'm to young for that and because I have to finish my school." She explained to Midnight.

"Your mother is right. You better listen to her. Even when we are far away from each other, we can still video call each day." Midnight smiled at his childhood friend.

He then jumped up and walked in front of her.

"Do you want to go to the winter gym?" He asked her with a puppy-like smile.

"Yes, of course." She replied immediately. "You know how much I love an arctic race." Strawberry started to smile.

10 Minutes later.

The two arrived at the winter gym. A winter gym is a special place for activities in ice and snow. Bario was a cold land but not so cold that it would snow.

"Do you want to make a little bet?" Asked Midnight Strawberry.

"Sure. What kind of bet do you have in your mind, Midnight?" She wanted to know from him.

"I thought about this ..." He said and started to smile a bit. "... if I win the race you will give me a good-bye kiss."

Strawberry started to blush after Midnight had said that. She thought of her part of the bet. "Sure. I agree but only of you're going to get a tattoo of a Strawberry on your chest." She replied with a wide smile.

Midnight nodded as agreement. They than moved to the starting line.

3...2...1

And the two started to race. Midnight got a good head start and was having quite a good lead. Strawberry was right behind him. Snow was thrown up by their class and their long tails were whipping from left to right while helping them to balance.

Midnight had won the race and got his good-bye kiss from Strawberry before he left Bario.
