CW: animal death, stalking, assault

It was him, all along.

It was that man I had met only so long ago. He was responsible for the hell I’ve been put through for these last few months. Oh, how ignorant could I be, to not see this beforehand?

I met Bailey through a mobile app, a friends-only type deal. I know I was in the wrong, I matched with him looking for drugs. I know. I was looking for a high, an escape from the daily to hourly pains I felt. But I had only expected that from him, and I had made that clear. I was looking for a plug.

He seemed okay.

He seemed normal, albeit a little sensitive. Just an emotionally-driven guy, looking for someone to cure his loneliness. I didn’t know what all there was to interacting with him. I just… didn’t know.

I guess he took a liking to me, an extreme one. I know I’m the hopeless romantic type… but I’m into women. I told him, just so he wouldn’t develop any feelings. I know I usually like the attention, that’s my bad. But nobody asks for this - this obsessive type of love that creeps your way, to the point of what he’s done. He’s been stalking me. I know that now.

I met his ex-girlfriend. Her name is Valentine. She explained her situation to me… one quite similar to my own. He started off as a fairly nice person, until he got clingy… then he got obsessive. She cut things off when that started, a good idea. He didn’t take it well. He stalked her, too. He kept a close eye on her, anywhere and everywhere she went. He must have felt rejected or something, because what was once love had just… immediately flipped to the opposite side of the coin. He hated her. The type of hatred that makes you wonder, did he always feel this way?

Back to the point. I think he’s dangerous, at least according to Valentine. She says he’s killed her poor, poor dog. She said he attacked her. Quite a vicious attack, too, she had said it seemed he really wanted her dead.

I don’t know what to do at this point. I’m in danger, and I’m afraid of him.

Please don’t look for me if I disappear.

Look for him.
