--- 1) You've heard of rituals like these, performed by arcanists and diviners to contact spirits of the dead on hallowed nights. In all those stories, something must be offered up for the rites to work, but there's no guarantee that the spirits will answer....

Requirement: Draw your Reosean taking part in Lich's ritual and offering something of their own: bones, food, or sentimental trinkets.

Collaboration with imcaspar - Lif0rneir0a Featuring vayrons Destan 9121 - Ole 10114 Ole landed in front of Destan who had been hiding around the hillside, behind which they had discovered the strangely looking skeletal Vayron who seemed to perform some kind of a ritual. At first, they had only seen the lights in the winter night and hoped for shelter as it had just started snowing and there was still quite some way to go until they’d arrive in the city of Roenden. This distance to any civilization made it even seem more interesting to find somebody performing a ritual out here, which was especially tickling Destan’s curiousness, who had lately begun to research the mostly forgotten magic rituals performed by the ancients and some parts seemed familiar to him. As the snow started to get denser, Ole had decided to fly a few circles over the stranger’s head, who did not notice the huge flyer above and now told Destan what he had seen. “Whoever that creature is, I have not met him before, such a weird one I would surely remember. He looks almost as if he was created by some dark magic himself and not very healthy how he is hanging there in front of that altar”, the skeletal Vayron spoke. “An altar? Do you think it’s one of the ancient ones?” “I had said so, who would nowadays build one new if they are still standing around everywhere. Around it, he had placed a bunch of candles and bones and other stuff, while the circle seems to be made out of bigger boulders that are actually sat into the ground.” Destan’s face made it more than obvious he was thinking intensely about what would be the best to do next. On the one hand, it didn’t seem as if this individual would be too happy about visitors as he went out into nowhere in the middle of a stormy night but then this might be one of the few chances to ever take part in one of those rituals, as nowadays most of the old knowledge had been forgotten and barely anybody even believed in those spirits anymore. Ole was rather skeptical when it came to magic and therefore quite suspicious about approaching this stranger who probably had no good in mind, but being a skeletal Vayron his massive strength made him not worry too much. Slowly they approached the ritualic circle on foot while having an eye on the stranger who, while they were closing in, seemed to start with whatever he tried to accomplish out here in the dark. Intending to speak to such creature, they set foot into the circle, which resulted in him immediately turning around and starting to speak to them with a broken voice: “Why are you interrupting me out here in the middle of the night? How did you find me in the first place?” Captured by the look of that creature, Destan was not able to speak for a while. Its face was so skinny that it almost looked like a skull, while legs and wings were missing skin and flesh so that the pure bones were exposed at many spots. Clearly, this could not be a normal living being with a body of such bad condition, so maybe it was rather not performing the ritual itself but was the product of one? Those thoughts also went through Ole’s head, but he was less overwhelmed than his Vayron friend and answered the stranger’s questions. “We were on our way back home when we saw the lights from the path and hoped for shelter, but I have to say what we found is clearly more interesting than expected. What are you doing here? I am sorry if we interrupted you, it surely was not our desire to do so.” Ole replied. That reply started to make the stranger, who called himself Lich, explain that he was trying to get in contact with a ghost from his past with the ritual currently performed. Destan’s eyes started to sparkle, he had heard many stories about those rituals before and carefully asked Lich for permission to participate. To the Duo’s surprise, the unnormal creature agreed after a short pause, telling them that together they would be able to achieve stronger energies and higher the chances of success, which were rather low when performing a ritual alone. Upon the question why Lich had not asked for help, he only replied vaguely that he was not too much of a people person, leaving the intent of curiousness that had made Destan ask this question aside and vanishing hopes to find out soon what it was the Vayron had in front of him. Upon Lich’s request, both Ole and Destan put a little fur of them inside a golden goblet that had been placed in the middle of the altar and some personal belongings on the outside of the circle. This was to make the spirits know who was here with him, Lich told his two guests and started to pour a strictly black liquid into the goblet, shortly after lighting the inside on fire by performing magic in a way that was mystical even to Destan. And just at that moment, the snowstorm around them seemed to fade out and the moon shone upon the circle to a hole in the clouds. It had something truly extraterrestrial to see this in the middle of the otherwise extremely dark night to stand in this circle of light. Next off, the skeletal Vayron asked whether they had any belongings from their dead friends or family members who they would want to meet during the ritual and while Destan had to deny such, Ole had with him an old amulet he once had been given by his grandfather who died years ago when protecting the family from a dragon’s attack. He closely watched Lich after having given him this artifact of family history, which was worth more than any other item in the whole world to him and warned him to better not lose it in the ritual. The Lich looked closely at it and his face brightened up when something made him think this was suitable for their plans. Now having put this beneath one single teeth on the altar, the lich began to spell out words and make sounds with his mouth the travelers had never heard before, what made the moonlight disappears again and in contrast to that winds started to swirl around them, that were clearly not natural as they made a layer of snowflakes circle around the ritualic ground in a wall of coldness that made them feel separate from the rest of the world, perhaps fitting quite well the state in which they were right now. Destan stepped closer to his Tyrian friend and whispered “Do you see this too?”, only getting a mumbling response from the overwhelmed being, who had before not believed in such rituals and was even more overwhelmed as his beliefs in the world were changed from the ground up. Suddenly all snow fell to the ground and the howling wind noises disappeared. In complete silence, shadows of light started to appear around them, slowly forming creatures that looked unreal in this world.

--- 2) You're not scared of any ghosts! It's all just stories to get naughty cubs to behave. A stranger working magic like this seems dangerous, though. They should probably leave. As you cross the ritual circle to say so, Lich lashes out at you, and you see their skeletal face and wings!

Requirement: Draw your Reosean either standing their ground to the vayron or running for the hills!

Collaboration with DarkNephthys - imcaspar - Lif0rneir0a Featuring vayrons Elakshi 9547 - Destan 9121 - Andromeda 2966

Continuing their walk altogether, Elakshi chatted with Destan. it was a polite chat, nothing too aggressive from Destan. Andromeda continued to follow them close behind, listening to the noises she heard. Soft crunches were the biggest noise she heard currently, with the whispering of the wind which seemed quite odd that night. Stars were lacking in the nighttime sky, with a cold breeze that ruffled all of their coats. Dancing across the view was snowflakes, which Destan would attempt to eat for the fun of it. Elakshi was paying close attention to them all as if she knew something was going to happen. Especially after so many recent events.

"Im finally starting to feel relaxed," Destan told them both. He seemed to catch Andromeda's glare which caused him to turn his face away from her awkwardly, and back to Elakshi who seemed much friendlier. Andromeda could feel something.

"Andromeda..." Elakshi started, as she realized there really was something wrong. "Are you alright?" she requested, but Andromeda didn't respond. To focused. Catching the smell of a candle, Elakshis eyes widened. "Something is there."

"I think we should avoid it."

"Great. It's going to be one of those guys again. Im is actually so sick of them. Why don't we just go tell them to shoo forever?" Destan requested in a joking tone. It seemed like he really didn't think it was another one of those creatures until Elakshi sprinted towards it to see what it was. Destan followed close behind, with Andromeda taking up the last part of the line. Being large as a puller, Andromeda tried to stay to the side of them in case anything bad happened. She has heard of the Lich in stories. With so many recent events, she has been on edge. Elakshi walked forward attempting to examine the ground in front of her, noticing four lit candles in a circle on the snowy ground. Around them were a few rocks with dead bushes, but what worried her was that in the center of it all there were vayron bones. Destan tried to walk forward to get a better smell, smelling only the old death of someone from long ago. "This isn't right," he stated. "This vayron.. or tyrian, from the smells of it, is obviously old but still smells fresh. Something is wrong. Someone here must not be doing anything good. Perhaps trying to scare people thanks to the other anomalies," he decided.

"I agree-" Elakshi started, but was interrupted.

"Who are you and what brings you here?" Said a raspy voice. Whenever the creature spoke, it smelled like death even more. Andromeda was already beginning to walk forward before Destan stopped him.

"More like who are you? You realize due to the recent events this must be terrifying to other creatures like ourselves. Its really awful what you're doing," Destan growled as the fur on his back raised.

"He's not wrong. You really need to stop this," Elakshi stepped forward, holding her ground. The flames on the circle began to flare with fire, making both steps back right away.

"You think this is a game?" The creature demanded, stepping forward with outstretched wings. The darkness of the night still continued to swallow him, making it hard to see who they were.

"It was never a game. Not to us. It seems like it is for you. Stop using magic like this. Leave," Elakshi stated. From Destans and Elakshi's view, the creature was simply trying to scare others with the magic of fire. It wasn't going to work on them, though. Andromeda seemed to be catching more of what was happening, with her eyes starting to close as she thought more of what to do. Right at that moment, you could hear a howl which was of the Lich lashing out at Destan and Elakshi. All three caught sight of their skeletal face and wings, making Destan shrink as Elakshi stepped back further, biting into Destans ruff and trying to drag him back. Andromeda made sure they could get a safe distance away by leaping at the creature, attempting to swipe her claws across the dark skeletal vayrons face.

"RUN!" she exclaimed before getting injured herself, bits of her blood dropping into the circle when the flames burned her slightly. Luckily, it wasn't enough to injure her to bad.

The Vayron howled again which caused the three of them to run faster until they felt they were a safe distance away and paused to catch their breath. Between pants, Elakshi said, "That... Creature... Is Not natural!..." She took a deep breath to try and slow her breathing, "Did you see it skeletal limbs?" She shuddered, "It is abhorrent to nature and whatever rites or magic it is trying to perform is desecrating the earth in that area." She shuddered again as anger started to replace the fear on her face.

"I agree," said Andromeda, "It didn't feel right as we approached the area where it sat. I felt something was off but couldn't put my paw on it." She winced as she moved her paw and irritated a burn she had received in her flee after attacking the strange vayron.

Destan saw her wince and moved over to her, "here let me help you with that." He dug around in one of his bags before he pulled out a squat round container with a lid and some bandages. He reached for her paw, "here let me put some of this ointment on, it will help heal the burn and ease some of the pain." She winced slightly as he rubbed the ointment in and then he started to wrap it in the bandages. He tied it off then put his supplies away as she said, "thank you for that," will a small smile on her face. Destan nodded at her then looked over at Elakshi, "are you hurt at all?"

Elakshi's anger was very apparent on her face as she said, "No, I am not injured but we must do something about that stranger before he does any more irreparable damage. I can't believe anyone could be such an idiot!" She harrumphed angrily.

“I completely agree with you on that. But this time we need to work together and if it comes to a fighting attack from all sides, so it can”t focus on us that easily. Also maybe Andromeda, you should stay back here as you are hurt?”, Destan agreed with Elakshi, not though without clearly showing the concern he had on his face when thinking about this plan. Keeping in mind that at the first encounter they were not prepared for what has expected them though, those thoughts have lingered. Both him and Elakshi now looked skeptical at Andromeda, who had said she wanted to come with them to help.

“Are you sure about that”, Andromeda asked, but the answer came quick: “Absolutely. Even if I am hurt we will be way stronger if all three of us go together.”

With those words in mind, the Trio went back to the circle where they had encountered the creature and stepped inside the area, which had an effect on the creature turning around with immediate effect. “You hurt our friend. If you don't have an explanation for that, we will have to kill you to make sure you don't hurt anybody else.”

Destan had wanted to try this diplomatic way first, but it only seemed to raise anger in the strange being.

--- 3) As you step foot in the ritual circle, there is the sound of a tolling bell and Lich turns to face you. The glow from their eyes momentarily blinds you and as you blink away the spots, you see many floating motes of light surrounding you both, the fog coalescing into glowing figures you recognize.

Requirement: Draw your Reosean surrounded by the ghosts of their pasts: be it poor choices made or loved ones lost. Does your Reosean face them with sorrow, resolve, or do they run away?

Collaboration with DarkNephthys - imcaspar - Lif0rneir0a Featuring vayrons Elakshi 9547 - Destan 9121 - Andromeda 2966

Destan, Elakshi, and Andromeda approached the dark creature from three different points forming a triangle so that they would be a hard target to attack. They paused and looked at each other since they were getting close and had yet to get a response from the dark creature. They all took another step forward and a gonging started ringing in the air which caused them all to look up. The creature's eyes glowed brilliantly in a blinding light causing them to cry out in pain as a heavy fog seeped into their surroundings.

Elakshi looked up after rubbing her eyes and blinking heavily as she scanned her surroundings she could no longer see the others, all she could see was fog. "Hey!" she called out, "where is everyone?" She rubbed at her face again and tried to peer through the heavy fog as she took a tentative step. How could they all have suddenly just disappeared? It made no sense! Suddenly voice echos out of the fog "..akshi..." and a chill shivered down her spine as her eyes went wide and dread filled her body. "...Elakshi..."

It was a female younglings voice, one that was from her far past, one that she thought she had forgotten. "No, no it can't be..." Elakshi shook her head as she started to back away. "...Elakshi... Why?... Why did you leave me?..." A phantom shape seemed to step out of the creeping fog, it was only twice as dark as the fog and wasn't solid, its shape kept shifting around as if it were made of smoke. The eyes glowed a light blue and felt as if they pierced into her soul, the mouth moved and whispered her name, "...Elakshi..."

Elakshi crumpled to the ground slowly as tears streamed down her face, her eyes were locked on the shape of the phantom as it felt like ice was spreading through her veins. How?... how did this creature know... know her?? No one knew about her, not even her mate. The phantom started to circle around her and kept asking why as well as saying her name. Elakshi started to fall deeper and deeper into a well of despair as the fog slowly smothered around her. When the phantom reached out a ghostly paw to touch her, she shrieked and started to crawl backward almost frantically. No! No, she couldn't let her touch her! If she did then it meant that this was real and it just couldn't be! She just kept shaking her head, flinging tears as she kept backing away.

What was happening to Elakshi was somehow happening to Andromeda too. From the mist, a pale-colored vayron appeared which proved to be her sister. Mixed feelings rushed back to Andromeda since it has been years since she last saw her sister. "Andromeda."

"Why are you so... pale?" Andromeda asked her. "This isn't the best time- Im really glad to see you but a fight is about to happen. You need to hide somewhere and we can talk late-" Andromeda attempted to say without stumbling.

Rushing forward the vayron responded. "I died Andromeda. A long time ago in fact. When you left the family for that guy we all sort of... left as well. It was like you took something when you left. Like you took parts of us."

"No... It wasn't at all," Andromeda stated, feeling her paws wanting to curl. It felt like her fur wanted to just fall off as her sister continued to speak. "You realize... it was never me."

Growling, her sister responded harshly. "It was always because of you. You left when we needed you the most. You left when we cared the most," she spat at her.

Andromeda seemed to turn away but when she did her sister told her to look her in her eyes. Her eyes were pale but had a slight glow of color to them. It felt like the air was getting colder when she attempted to look around but couldn't find anyone. "I hate you."

"The feeling is mutual. Now isn't it? Be glad it's me here and not another memory of the family. We are watching."

"Of course you are. Please don't judge my past though. I left for a reason."

"And what was that reason?" her sister requested. "A reason that isn't any of your business. If you watch me you'd find out soon enough anyway. Now leave. I have friends to protect."

Laughing, her sister walked off disappearing into the night. "Goodbye then."

Waking up from her odd vision, Andromeda noticed the air colder as her breath appeared in the air. Looking up to the Lich, she stammered, "What did you just do?" As she began to tear up. Looking over to Destan and the other vayron Elakshi quickly, she checked if they were okay but Destan was still going through what she did. Growling, Andromeda continued to question the Lich which seemed to smile.

"I showed you a lost one. That's what I want to do myself. Don't bother trying to stop me," the Lich finished.

Elakshi looked to Destan which was starting to wake up, but Andromeda held her place in case the Lich would attack.

Lost in thoughts, Destan felt alone. He was seeing things he never thought he would remember or see again, or even think of. In front of him were memories from the past, ones he tried his best to forget. One of them was of a childhood memory where he almost lost a family member because as a pup he thought he could take on a bear. His older brother came to save him but it was always something risky when his older brother wasn't actually that huge. The memories were made of mist and quite peaceful at first until the battle started where his brother got injured pretty badly. Destan looked at the memory with worry and sadness, but he was glad that his brother was still alright. When he turned around he saw a new memory which consisted of when he had his goal in life chosen. It was quite simple, protect the family. He has already failed though, which started to make him tear up. He left the family a while ago, but he did plan to go back. He simply wanted to get better first.

As Elakshi woke up, her sadness and confusion were still with her, but with the realization of what had just happened to her and seemingly also her friends, those feelings began to convert. Sadness gave way to anger and confusion gave way to determination, as Elakshi spoke to the creature that was watching her friends, with Destan only now waking up again.

“You had no right to do this. However you did it, those memories were personal and none of your business. Explain yourself and why you did it, immediately.”, Elakshi yelled at the creature.

Mocking laughter rumbled through the air, as she was done the speaking, and while it was clearly made by the creature it seemed to come from everywhere around them at once, leaving a shiver on Andromeda’s fur before a response was to be heard: “Who do you think you are? It's funny how much you little Vayron’s overrate yourself.”

With those words still echoing through the forest, the creature began glowing in bright light and smoke spread all around it, which made the three-step back as it got hard to breathe nearby before suddenly everything was over and the creature was gone. Still paralyzed from their experience, the Trio began to slowly make their way back home.

--- 1) As a notorious pirate, Captain was sure to have buried mounds of treasure somewhere along the edge of the continent-- and you had been lucky enough to have come across an aged map, the paper soft and pliable with age. Your voyage led you here, and you’ve finally found the beach where the map marks-- but there’s a figure wandering the shores, guarding something; but they can’t remember what. Captain catches sight of your map, and eyes filling with familiarity, demand you hand it over. Will you give it to them in fear or kindness, or offer them to join your venture? Perhaps you refuse, wanting all of the treasure for yourself?

Requirement: Draw your Reosean on the beach with Captain, with their decision of what to do with the map.

Collaboration with FourDayz - imcaspar - Lif0rneir0a Featuring vayrons Captain Pickles 2291 - Destan 9121 - Noah 9800

Noah was obviously stressed over this situation. Not even the coconuts which attempted to knock him out when they desired to skydive from the trees could. The fact that such a terrifyingly large figure in front of him was demanding something he knew he couldn't just give away was admittedly something he just didn't know how to react to. Captain Pickles seemed to not care too much, instead of watching with interest at what Noah decided to do. Destan, on the other hand, seemed to be urging him to.

"Dude you serious right now?" he growled at Destan. "No Captain. I'm not giving you the map. I stole it so its mine now! Like a thief I can't break that promise I made to myself!" he stated, something he completely made up. "Besides. I'm a pirate too. TECHNICALLY, I should be giving this to MY captain. My captain is very scary too. She's VERY big," he threatened him. Captain Pickles seemed to be laughing to himself over how dumb Noah sounded, especially about how he talked of his captain which was named Shark. It was laughable. Destan continued to stay focused on the creature waiting for the next move, ready to defend both of them.

"I'm serious. I need it. You really don't understand how serious this is. I don't know who I am anymore,'' The Captain said with an honest sadness. It seemed like Captain Pickles was understanding about it, but Noah still seemed resultant. Destan for once believed the anomaly about it as well. "Perhaps you actually should,'' said Destan as he sat down. They were next to the ocean and in Noah's paws was the map. The map Captain seemed to want so much.

"I'll think about it. It really did take longer to get here."

Captain Pickles seemed to already have his mind made up. "I've heard stories of this vayron. Very old ones Noah. I really think we should.''

"I have an idea."

"What is it?" Destan requested.

"We go altogether. Why don't we explore this place? I'm sure I don't HAVE to tell Shark."

The Captain seemed pleased by the information given to him. He agreed, glad to of solved the situation without any aggression. Looking back to the wreckage of his ship which he protected over some time, he took his first step away. "Lest start then. If you let me properly see it I can explain the details more. That's if you aren't selfish," he told Noah.

The quite skeptical Noah, himself a thief in whose blood in lead to take advantage out of every situation, hassled with himself for quite a moment, but Destan knew very well that they could need the help of the stranger, as so far they had no clue how to use this map and gave Noah”s leg a little kick to signal him not to wait any longer.

“Okay, have a look at it then, but not being selfish goes for you too,” such one finally said and walked over to the Captain, handing him the map with restraint. Both Captain Pickles and Destan were relieved he didn’t cause any more trouble as especially the later one didn't have the slightest interest in starting a fight right now, especially with such a big creature as the stranger was one - not considering the immense worth it help could maybe prove to them in finding whatever treasure this map was linked to.

After waiting for any reaction from the Captain whose name was still a mystery to not only his visitors but also himself on the map that laid in front of him in the sand more than five minutes, Destan was the first to start talking again: “So, have you found out anything so far? You said the mapped looked familiar to you earlier, do you know where the piece of land lays it is describing on there?”

Slowly the huge Vayron raised his head, looking at the Trio that stood in front of him, with Captain Pickles looking at him mostly curious, while Destan looked skeptical and Noah seemed to stare an answer out of him instead of demanding it again, and started telling them everything he knew for sure: “Indeed I do remember this place from before I lost my mind, but everything I can tell you about it”s location is the name, Cansha. But I am sure some of your friends have sailed a lot around the oceans and can tell us where we have to search and anyways I am way more concerned about what I felt as this name came up in my head: Pure fear and the will to run away from where I was immediately, and I get it again every time I try to remember more about the place, so we will have to be very careful.”

“Right then!” Pickles walked over and stood in the middle of the group. Before anyone could question what he was doing, he swiped the map and handed it over to his tiny green kukuri assistant, who then rolled it up and tucked it into her sash.

“Pack up your things, boys! We’re out to sea! We’re off on a brand new adventure! One you’ll be telling stories for years to come! One you’ll be telling your little grand pups when you tuck ‘em in at night.” He skipped off to where a small rowboat was anchored down on the shore.

“But wait,” Noah jumped to his feet. The kukuri hissed at Noah. He gave her the dirtiest look he could muster. “That map it’s mi-”

“No one likes a whiny thief, Noah,” Pickles interrupted as he walked away. “Where ever could you have learned such a terrible habit from?”

“I’m not whining! I’m just stating the facts. I was the one who went through the effort of stealing it. Shouldn’t I be the one to keep it? It’s not like you contributed anything.”

“We found you drunk at the tavern. You would have been beaten to a pulp if we weren’t there to stop that fight,” Destan chimed in from the back, not exactly liking where this was heading.

“Aye, but it was a ship you needed and it is a ship I provided. These things are expensive, you know? And I don’t think two young boys like you have enough crescents to pay me to chauffeur you around. Next thing I know, you're off with the map and the treasure! Speaking of which,” he suddenly whipped around and pushed his face very close to Noah’s. He growled as he spoke. “You better hope there is a treasure to be had at the end of this journey. Else ye be paying with yer lives.” Noah held his gaze. “You’re not serious, right? Was saving you from that fight, not enough?” Destan approached them from behind. He looked at Captain for answers. They only nodded in agreement. “A mere drunken fight is nothing to a pirate. Especially when ya risk yer life every day out at sea.”

After a brief moment of silence, both pickles and the pirate boomed with laughter. “I’m just pulling your leg. I won’t kill ya, but you two’ll be working for me to pay off your debt.” Pickles then trotted off to the rowboat. The other pirate bumped Noah’s shoulder. “Yer too young to die, laddie. Especially with those sticky paws. Yer bound to become a good pirate someday. Just not today.”

Pickles called out to them from the boat. “Come along now! I’ll be leaving you behind if you don’t pick up the pace. Heh, heh! Are you ready to face your fears, again?” He asked when the newcomer boarded the boat. “Well, I wouldn't call myself a pirate, now could I?” It responded with a grin.

Noah spat into the sand in frustration. “I’m not working for that bilge rat, no matter how much crescents we owe him. There will be a treasure. I know it. And I’m gonna make sure it all goes to us” Destan nodded and they each grabbed a bag they packed for the trip and the two of them headed for the small rowboat, where Pickles and the newcomer were arguing about who would row the boat out to the ship.

--- 2) Captain feels a sense of belonging to the sea. After your long voyage, you find yourself docked at the port of a small town-- you take a few days to refill supplies and replenish your energy at the local inn, but when you return to your ship not all is as you left it: there’s a strange vayron on board, a monkey on their back. One could presume they were in the process of stealing the vessel, teeth tight around one of the sail ropes. Captain explains that they’re in need of a ride - will you kick this potential thief off of your ship, or afford them the courtesy of a seaward journey?

“Alright. We’re finally here boys,” Pickles called out from the bow of the ship. A cheer can be heard from behind him as the crew prepared to anchor the ship. Pickles and the vayron who came to be referred to as Captain stood next to each other. Pickles has decided to call them Buck as there can only be one captain on this ship. ‘Buck’ seemed just fine with it. They observed the massive rock structure that was supposed to be the island called Cansha. Turquoise waves crashed against the island’s rock wall. Black gulls gathered above them and rode the drafts. Noah and Destan raced to meet the two vayrons by the bow. Destan reached them first.

“We’re here? We’re finally here?” He rose up and rested his front legs on the edge of the ship. “That’s Cansha? It’s so… small.”

Noah looked out to see the small island. It indeed was unimpressive. It was just a big rock jutting straight out of the ocean. It’s bleak grey walls were pretty much unscalable. The top was flat and Noah could make out some green grass hanging off the edge. He couldn’t see where there could be any treasure hidden there. It was just a rock! He scoffed. “So where d’you think it is? Buried under bird poop?”

“Ahh… That may just be the case, laddie.” The pirate laughed. Noah rolled his eyes, clearly not finding it funny. “Remember, this treasure is supposed to be hidden. If it was placed out in the open for everyone to see, there would be no problem reaching it and therefore, no treasure.” Noah shivered at the thought of having to dig through poo. His thoughts were interrupted with a loud clanging. He turned just in time to see one of the crew pull back a large lever, the one used to anchor the ship.

“Wait, why are we so far away? That’s probably a half hour’s row to get to that rock.” He looked down at the rough waves. Maybe an extra fifteen minutes by the looks of the water. “Cansha isn’t actually the name of this island.” Pickles had begun to explain. “Actually, Cansha is less than an hour from here. This is just one of many rocky islands that surround it. This particular rock doesn’t have a name but we pirates like to call it the Gull’s lair.”

“How intimidating,” Destan muttered, still enjoying the view from where he stood.

Pickles laughed. “Not very, but these black seagulls are nothing like your average bird. They get aggressive whenever anything comes within a few feet of their nest. Sometimes, they’ll even attack each other in the heat of the moment. We don’t want to get any closer than this. They could swarm the ship. The nasty buggers.”

“That and the water is shallow. So, we couldn’t get any closer if we wanted to.” Captain added on.

The small group piled into the rowboat and headed off towards the island. With Captain rowing, they made it to the island in less time than Noah thought. Destan kept his eyes above, looking out for any aggressive birds. “Uh, captain?”

“Huh?”

“What?” Both Pickles and Captain answered. Pickles looked annoyed.

“Why haven’t the birds attacked us yet? We’re much closer than the ship…”

“The whales, boy.” Captain grunted, “That’s why I had to take a little detour and come around to this side of the island, where the water is deeper. They lurk just under here, waiting for one of those buggers to fly too close. Then they snatch them up. Free meal for them. Well, here we are.”

The four vayrons reached the stone, and there indeed was bird poop. Luckily enough Noah noted how there wasn't too much to where he would cry if he even touched the stone with a paw. Destan who was next to him went to hop off of the rowboat but Pickles gave him a look. "I should go first."

Destan nodded, "Alright."

"So it is still there?" "Buck" who was the anomaly vayron asked. Pickles nodded as he touched the large rock with all for paws, Destan following after Noah, with the anomaly last.

"It should just be over there," Pickles responded. The captain looked over to a small cave, one barely large enough for a vayron. Noah seemed to know where it was though as soon as it started to ring.

"I think I hear something," he mentioned. Pickles looked to Noah and mentioned how sometimes it does that. It calls to you he would say. Destan simply gave them an odd look. The anomaly was beginning to attack Noah in words asking him about where it was.

"Where is it? Hurry!"

"Jeez, let me focus!" Noah exclaimed, looking over to the small cave. Noah began to run over as the ringing became louder, The anomaly close behind. Pickles was just as focused as well as he walked over to see the treasure once again. As he got closer he started to notice the birds of dirt and grass that arose from it. It was hard to tell if it was actually a cave that Noah thought he was mistaken at first. Strands of grass reached out blocking the small entry, and piles of dirt surrounded it against the rough cliff. Luckily enough, Noah didn't see any bird poop here. The captain from the wreckage watched Noah crawl in, but right at that second a ton of the creatures from above started to attack him. Noah was starting to get stuck, all he was seeing was bits of sunlight poking through the thick grass with a couple of vayron bones which made him start kicking his feet trying to get out. Soon enough the ringing became stronger in his ears, so he was beginning to freak out. "HELP!" he screamed.

There were so many birds that it was hard for the anomaly to take all of them on himself. "Im trying!" he responded and bit a bird or two out of the air. Destan rushed over angry and pushed captain out of the way as he guarded Noah's hindquarters which the birds were trying to attack the most. Captain pickles growled since he was furious at the fact the creatures were going so harsh on him.

"This is why it was the perfect place to put this treasure," he stated.

Finally, Noah had managed to get through the narrow passage and fell onto his nose after having pushed forward with full power and then suddenly succeeding in doing so. Standing up and also looking up again, he looked around, seeing that he stood in a small tunnel, being only about 15 feet deep from where he stood. At the ending face, it widened up a little around a wooden pedestal, on top of which laid a shiny thing made out of metal, reflecting the little light getting across Noah’s body that filled out much of the tunnel.

“Hurry up, those birds are notorious!”, Destan’s angry voice yelled from outside, giving the impulse for Noah to quickly walk over to the treasure and took a quick look at it, recognizing it to be a medallion made out of a metal that either looked like or was gold, with blue chrystals on it which were surrounded by copper ornaments, who after a long time in the humid and salty air coming from the sea had changed to a green color. Noah had to remind himself what his friends were going through as the sight of this beautiful piece had captured him fully for a moment, but managed to do so and turned around in the widened part before crawling back outside with the medallion between his teeth. While this was easier as he now needed to bend downwards and not upwards to crawl back outside and therefore didn’t get stuck, immediately after he stood up outside the birds started attacking him. “I got it, let’s get away from here!”, he yelled at Buck and Destan over the loud screeching that was in the air around them, who by the looks of the ground around them must have killed at least a dozen of those birds while he was inside the cave. None of them was resisting against this, especially not Pickles, who had tried to scare them by going near their nests, but now bitterly regretted that. So all of them quickly ran back down to their float, with the birds leaving them as soon as they reached the beach to everyone’s surprise.

But the surprise was a rather unpleasant one, as behind them a shimmering creature leaned onto the blank rock face, which was surrounded by smoke and not clearly to define as one or the other species. One thing though was sure: It was huge and Noah was thinking about giving in, as it demanded to give back the Medaillon. The Captain warned him that this might be a product of magic to guard the treasure and therefore bound to this place, so on his sign, they all jumped into the landing craft and ruddered away as fast as possible, with the strange creature to the crews ease not following them.

--- 3) It has been rumoured of a pirate captain possessing a powerful pendant to control the seas. After your long voyage you take a break to wander the shore and come across a medallion buried in the sand. An unsettling aura runs through you as you pick it up; yet strangely you are drawn to it, and it sings softly in your ears. Suddenly a large figure appears before you, and with a vicious snarl demands for you to hand it over. Are you keen to rid of the enchanted object, or perhaps you enjoy the feeling of power surging through you as you wield it too much to give it up? Captain’s snarl tells you they’re not going to take no for an answer, even if they don’t remember the object’s significance.

Requirement: Draw your Reosean on the shore with Captain, with their decision of what to do with the enchanted medallion.

Pickles woke up in a soft luxurious bed. He didn’t remember much about the night before but he had a foggy memory of Destan and Noah dragging him away from the bar and pushing him onto a bed. He rolled off the bed and onto the floor, just barely getting his feet under him in time. He had a splitting headache and memories of the day before came rushing back.

“Damn those birds to hell,” he muttered as he steadied himself. The cuts he sustained from the attack by the black gulls were stinging. Searching the room, he found his hat and gear laying by the foot of the bed. He tried taking a step forward but almost tripped over himself. He felt a pair of paws on his chest, stabilizing him. He looked down to see Kaia, a green kukuri, holding him up. She smiled then ran to grab his stuff and strapped them on for him. She kept his hat, placing it on her own head and stuck her tongue at him. Pickles chuckled. “Sure, honey. You can wear it for now. One day it’ll be yours.”

The two of them exited the room and took their time coming down the wooden stairs. Once at the bottom, he found himself in the lobby of the same tavern he was drinking the night before. A humanoid greeted him. “Good afternoon, sir! Thank you for staying with us at the Oceanside inn!”

“Weren’t you the young lad who tried to sell me an overpriced drink last night?”

The humanoid continued, ignoring Pickles’ question. “Right through those doors over there-” He pointed to the open doors at the opposite side of the room which lead to a private dining area. “You’ll be served your complimentary breakfast. Please enjoy the food and here’s your bill!” He handed Pickles a small paper with a handwritten note on it. He quickly walked away and disappeared behind the bar. Pickles squinted at the bill. His eyes widened when he saw the price and the names that signed it off. “Okay Darlin,” He said as he handed the bill to Kaia. She stuffed it into her bag. “First we find those boys. Then, we raid this place before we leave. I want my crescents back.” He grumbled about young boys and not knowing how to handle money as he entered the dining room. There before him, Noah and Destan sat at a table, eating and drinking lavishly. They smiled and waved at him.

“Oi! That’s my money you boys be wasting! How do you plan on paying me back?” Pickles stormed over and stood over both of them. Destan shrugged. “You’re a successful pirate. You’ll find some way to make it back.”

“Think of it as payment for helping you last night,” Noah mumbled around a mouthful of bread and jelly.

“What?! Help me do what? Sink into debt?”

“Actually we helped you get out of debt. Remember that big brute of a tyrian came in looking for you? Said he was part of the mafia? Well, he won’t be chasing you around any longer!”

Its true Pickles had borrowed money from the mafia long ago with a plan to get away with it all. It had gone terribly and they have been chasing his tail since. He vaguely remembered some elaborate plan the boys came up with that required him to play dead, a.k.a drink until he passed out.

“Er, whatever. Stuff all this food into a bag and let’s go. We gotta raid this place and get my crescents back. Where’s that Buck. He could help.”

“I dunno. We saw him boarding the ship this morning though.” Noah shoved another helping of bread and jelly into his mouth.

Pickles stared at them exasperated then took off to the ship. Noah and Destan looked at each other confused.

Walking back outside, they saw the large vayron that Pickles called Buck. After all, he didn't want to call him captain due to there only being one captain on that ship. The vayron that called himself "Captain" due to not remembering his name, was on the shore waiting for them. It seemed like he wanted something. Walking over, Pickles questioned if something was wrong.

"Give me it."

"Give you what? The enchanted medallion? No way, I got it fair and square," he responded strictly.

Growling, the "Buck" stepped forward. "I never gave an option for you to say no," he stated coldly.

"Back off," Noah spat at him. "If anything, I got it and I feel amazing. I rather Pickles have it than you ever," he stated to the anomaly. Destan backed Noah up and got between the anomaly and Pickles, which Pickles grinned as he took the enchanted item from Noah.

"I think its safer with me anyway. No one seems to trust you right now," he said.

Filling up with anger, the Captain with his impressive figure slowly walked towards Noah, using his strength to simply force Destan out of his way, who protested but gave up as he noticed it didn’t make any sense to fight alone and the others seemed like they were still hoping for a peaceful solution to this argument. But with every step, the Captain took, Pickles now also standing straight, a little of their hope and the tension could be felt in the air when he reached the Vayron carrying the Medallion. Building himself up in front of Pickles, the Captain who nobody wanted to call a friendly name like Buck anymore, stared into his eyes from above for a few minutes without saying anything, their faces less than a foot apart. His counterpart did not give in and both Noah and Destan knew that it would be best not to interrupt this standoff, as they might risk making the barrel overflow and encouraging something they surely did not want to happen. And because of those circumstances, it was the Captain who spoke the first words after the shier endless period of silence, with a loud and determined voice he addressed Pickles: “Who do you think you are, to tell me I would not get anything out of the treasure you would’ve never been able to find without my help and ignore our agreement? I would have maybe excused such foolish behavior from the youngsters over there,” he looked at Destan and Noah who felt caught staring at the scene in front of them while thinking it would be the best to not take part in it, “but you should know better yourself. A true pirate never breaks the code when it comes to sharing loot, so give it to me now or I will handle you in the traditional way pirates handle liars.”

Noah and Destin wondered what this meant, but Captain Pickles’s face lost, barely visible for a short moment, a lot of confidence before returning to the determined look he imitated from the other Captain.

“If I’d accept and give you the Medallion, there would be nothing left for me and the two boys, so that surely wouldn’t fit your pirate laws you are praising so highly right now either. And keep in mind we found the map, so even if we had ever made an agreement - which is not the case, we just said we will be fair and give you something for your help, not specifically the medallion - the three of us would be the rightful owners of it. What about we make a deal: We see what the medallion is worth and you can pay us off half of the money, which is more than fair if keeping it is so important to you.”

Captain stepped back one step and said, still with a straight but slightly more quiet voice: “You are lucky I’m not feeling like fighting today. Deal.”

Everybody was relieved to have found this solution, even the Captain who knew this amulet could help him with his lost memories, though not yet exactly how. He had been scared to give it up to the others for this reason and not because of pure grief.

"Seriously Noah. Repeat after me. You don't steal things from fire-breathing creatures that probably will eat you," Destan forced Noah to repeat. For some reason, he kept making him repeat it even. It seemed like Rania was on Destans side so whenever Noah gave her puppy dog eyes which begged for their help the plead for a hero was always ignored. Instead, every time he would be responded with an expression that seemed to tell him he was on his own.

"Okay, guys. We are getting there. I think," Rania decided as they walked through the ash layered wasteland. Finally, it was Noah's time to see Warrenfall. This part of Warrenfall seemed to be avoided at all times, but Rania insisted that Destan take them. Noah, on the other hand, didn't want to. Instead, Noah would ask if it was really a good idea since he seemed to be getting himself into trouble with so many odd creatures. Creatures that Destan still teased him about. Soon enough after years of Noah speaking gibberish about how important the art of being a thief is and how any calling should never be ignored, they all rested. Net to a large tree which seemed to twist as if a lightning bolt struck it out of pure rage as it attempted to pull it from the ground but never succeeded. "I don't like this," Noah stated.

"Honestly. I wouldn't be surprised if another creature pops up. From your crazy stories you're probably summoning them or something," Rania stated. Ironically, it then happened. "See what I said? Now there's another weirdo here," she teased.

"Uh, wait. I think that actually IS one of those creatures..." Destan whimpered. "He doesn't seem that... glorious either."

Noah seemed stressed almost right away, but Rania relaxed. Destan instead was confused and scared. Over time, the creature got closer and twirling flames seemed to bounce from its neck with heads which only seemed to sing the song of despair, the lyrics to a melody which the flames created. The center of the double heads was actually fairly normal, but not enough for Noah and Destan. Rania was at least brave enough to step forward but as she did the creature spat words which remained difficult to understand, but somehow Noah seemed to relax.

"Wait," he stated as he stepped forward. "I think I understand." "OF COURSE YOU DO ALL YOU SPEAK IS NONSENSE!" Destan exclaimed at him.

"Hold up Destan, it may not be nonsense," Rania held up a paw to try and hold off any more outbursts as she turned back to the three-headed creature. The creature spat the same sounds at her approach when it stopped speaking Rania spoke to the creature, but it was an odd almost slurring sibilance language not what the various spoke to each other. When it didn't get a response she tried a harsher guttural tongue. Still, there was no response from the creature, Rania sighed then waved over Noah. "Now is your chance to shine Noah, maybe you can understand what this creature wants."

Destan snorted in derision at Noah as he hesitantly approached the creature, which earned him a glare from both Rania and Noah. He sighed, "Fine, whatever. Give it a shot, I won't be surprised if it tries to eat you before you steal something from it as well." He sat at a safe distance away from the three of them.

Noah side-stepped closer but stopped before he got as close as Rania was to the creature. "Oh hey, can you say that again?" He kept switching his gaze between the different heads but focused on the center head when it looked at him and spoke. It didn't say it quite as aggressively but what it spoke was still mostly unintelligible to both Rania and Destan but it seemed that Noah was able to understand a bit of it. He tilted his head as he listened and then continued to think about what the creature said. He looked at the other two and said, "I think he is trying to describe someone? Could they be searching for someone?"

Destan's brow furrowed, "why would they need our help to find someone? they seem like a capable individual." Rania looked from the creature to Noah before she started to dig into her side bag and pulled out a roll of parchment and a charcoal stick. She looked around for a clear flat part of the ground or a rock. "How about you describe to me what they are saying and I can try to draw out the individual that they are searching for. It might help them in the future to find who they are looking for if they have a similar experience with others not understanding them."

Destan looked at Rania, "I didn't know you were an artist."

“I’m trying my best to be one. But I don’t think that a beautiful portrait will be any more useful than a simple sketch here anyways, it’s more about quickly putting down what he is saying. So, what is he saying, Noah?”, Rania responded.

Both her and Destan looked at Noah with disbelief in their eyes, as to them this creature’s three heads were all only spitting out weird noises that seemed so different from the Vayron’s language and if that wasn’t enough they did it at the same time, so that it was hard to clearly hear out what one was saying. Also noticing about the last issue Noah started off by, in a voice as kind as possible, asking them to speak one at a time. First off the three heads started talking at exactly the same time again after a short pause, but then the one in the middle gave the outer heads a kick and said something very loudly, resulting in them to stare at the middle one as it started talking to Noah.

With now only one of the heads talking, it was clearly less of a mess but even to Destan, who had come around a lot and spoken to many different species on his explorations around the countries, the sounds coming out of the three-headed creature’s mouth weren’t making any sense at all. Only Noah could for some reason understand them and while he started to give Rana instructions Destan thought for himself he would definitely have to ask him later on, where a thief would get to learn such skills.

The being Noah started to describe didn’t seem to make too much sense at first, but as he came to translate about its huge size and large wings with feathers on them, all three Vayron’s realized it must be a vayron the stranger was on the search for. Unclear about its intentions though Rana soon started to worry that such stranger, clearly capable of being very dangerous considering all the teeth on his three heads, might not be searching for this flyer because it was a friend, but rather to hurt it. While Noah continued to describe dark colors, somewhere between blue and tar, Rana whispered her concerns over to Destan, who agreed with her that they should reconsider leading it to a Tyrian city and maybe even warn one of their Tyrian friends so he could bring the message around.

As Rana had finished the drawing, all three of them talked about it, while the three-headed creature was completely focused on the finished drawing.

After having discussed what to do with this mysterious creature and his apparent quest to find an individual that, from the description seemed to be on all accounts a tyrian, they decided that the best course of action would be to lead it towards the nearest major city so that either they could help him find this mysterious tyrian or direct him in where he should look.

Noah looked at the creature and spoke softly to it, "follow us and we can take you to a city where you may be able to this 'friend' of yours. I don't think you would have much luck finding them out here in the middle of nowhere." He chuckled like he had made a joke that none of the others understood.

Destan got up and pulled out a map to start looking to see where would be the best city to go to and find out which direction they should head.

Rania started to pack up her supplies back into her satchel and reached to roll up the image she had sketched but when her paw neared it all of the creature's heads fixated on her and growled viciously at her as it took a step towards her. Her eyes go wide as she freezes in place and takes a shallow breath before she spoke, "I'm just rolling it up to put it somewhere safe," she looked over the creature, "parchment doesn't seem like it would be safe if you carried it, no offense or anything." After a little bit of no response from the creature other than continued growls she looked towards Noah with just her eyes, "can you please do something about this?" There was a slight tremor of fear to her voice.

Destan froze with his map in his hands at this dynamic, why does it always seem like something is going wrong?

Noah slowly moved his paw to get the attention of the creature without triggering it. "Hey, it's ok" he spoke softly. "We will give it back we promise, she is just storing it for you."

The creature growled one more time almost as if it was trying to make its point then it huffed under its breath and stepped back though it kept the focus of all its heads on Rania as she sighed a little shakily and carefully picked up the parchment and rolled it up to put away.

Destan shook his head as he thought, that could have ended badly, it's a good thing Noah had this odd little talent.

The creature was starting to cough, which Noah perked his ears. "I think they're thirsty," he stated. Rania stood there without speaking, looking over to Destan.

"You probably know this place better than us. At least I hope so. You've been here in Warrenfall before right?" she asked him.

"Yes. I've never been to this area before though, but I'm sure if we keep walking we can soon discover a place with water to help him out."

"I think its the flames. In fact, I think we seriously should hurry. He must be in pain with a situation like that. Lets quickly get some water," Noah demanded. Rania glared at him telling him to be more relaxed, mentioning how they're going to try their best to make sure he's fine.

"Ah, I think it's over there," Destan decided once they have begun to walk. "We will have to forget about that place for a while," he decided. Rania sighed but understood. It was important that this creature would be okay. It seemed important to all of them in fact. Especially Noah.

"Let's not waste time," Noah stated, walking next to the three-headed creature which seemed already most comfortable with him. It continued to attempt to talk, words becoming more stable but still hard to understand. Starting to run in worry, Destan leads the way out of the wasteland with Rania next to him keeping her drawing safe. Destan was examining the landscape ahead of him, noticing small pools of water that wouldn't taste too great due to the dirt within them. Soon enough leaves were appearing which dropped from nearby trees, with the grass becoming greener as they continued their journey. Noah was still next to the creature which was struggling, but he spoke to it softly about how they were close and to not worry. "Almost there," he stated.

Rania sprinted ahead as she saw the reflection of water, with Destan telling both that they found it. Noah smiled at the creature which still seemed sad, but its mood lightened when they noticed how they were getting closer to it. With new inspiration, it ran as fast as it could to the water and started to drink messily with an odd look from Destan.

"Wow," Rania whispered. Noah caught up to them and took a drink himself with a glare to Destan.

"Stop staring."

He did as he was told but could not repress a smile when hearing the laddering noises the creatures three tongues made next to his right while he was drinking himself, looking at the clear, fresh water they had tried hard to find for quite some time now.

Having finished earlier than the completely dehydrated creature, Destan ignored Noah’s call from before and looked closely at it”s body. Clearly it was quite similar to a Vayron if leaving aside the two extra heads and the flames, but seemed to be a lot more muscular and in general, all parts of its body were of more mass. The way it drank though was pretty close to a clumsy Vayron puppy, which made him wonder if it, possibly being a creature that had been created rather than raised, might actually not be much older than those young Vayrons.

The more Destan kept thinking about this, everything seemed to fit right together: An unclear speaking would be explained by being of a young age, just like it’s rather impulsive behavior and clumsiness.

“What do you guys think?” he asked after explaining his ideas to both Reina and Noah, who both thought about this for a while before replying.

“I think you are wrong, it probably just hasn’t ever had much contact with Vayrons before and is nervous about trusting us,” Noah replied first, “You should clearly stop believing in too many of the old marvels that are being told by the elderly, even if creatures were ever simply created by strong magic, that was a long time ago and surely didn’t happen ever again after the big war.”

Destan looked a little disappointed in Noah’s response, as he had hoped for more support to his theory, but Rania would soon change that look in eyes and make them sparkle when thinking about the significance of the discovery of this creature could have if he was true.

“Don’t put this aside too fast, Noah. You know how much magic is still held captured in these lands from your own encounters with them when you were trying to steal some of those magic artifacts. But I also don’t think this has just been created by somebody, such powers were even never achieved by the ancient.”

The Trio had stood a little away from the stranger while talking about this, who had now finished drinking and came over while looking a little skeptical, but Noah calmed it down by making clear they were only trying to help it.

Now that this three-headed creature had parched its massive thirst it seemed to have regained quite a bit of energy as all three heads excitedly started to blabber and converse with each other as well as it seemed to try and include the three vayrons in its conversation. Between the three heads, there was no pause in its talking and it sounded almost like a continual drone on the ears as the three heads got louder and louder in their attempts to be heard over each other and try to get the others to understand what it was saying.

Rania recoiled at the cacophony that the three heads were emitting and took a step back as she covered her ears with her paws. Destan’s eyes kinda popped wide and he turned his head to follow Rania’s retreat before he joined her with a kind of dazed expression to his face, “well, that was sudden.” He hollered over to Noah, who was still next to the three-headed creature, “Best of luck my friend!” before he laughed softly at the stricken look his words put on Noah’s face.

Rania joined in with Destan’s laughter while Noah just kept nodding his head at the creature as it yammered without any breaks in its speech. Occasionally he would try to interrupt and halt the conversation but the creature seemed oblivious to any of his attempts and almost seemed happy to continue talking to itself as well as Noah.

Rania looked at Destan with a wry expression on her face and said, “should we try to help him out? I’m afraid he seems to be drowning over there.”

Destan shrugged before he replied, “I don’t know what help we could add to it, he is the one who seems to understand the creature the best.”

“Very true,” Rania said while she nodded her head, “ but maybe we could do something to, I don’t know, distract it?” She shrugged, “Last time he was able to understand anything from this creature he had managed to get just one of the heads to talk while the others kept quiet.”

“I guess that is true,” Destan replied then he sighed as he gained his feet, he looked over to Rania as he gestured with his paw for her to proceed him forward, “Ladies first? After all, it was your suggestion,” he said with a grin.

Rania scowled at him, “fine I will go first.” She stood up and started forward as she whispered, “whimp,” under her breath.

The orange blackish creature that Destan and Rania decided to call Cerberus was continuing to blabber on about nonsense, with the middle head simply staying silent. Walking up to Cerberus Rania tried her best to silence both heads but then the middle one started growling at her. Standing up, Noah warned her that he wasn't to stable. Destan then walked up to Cerberus as well, in case something went wrong. "Listen to Noah. We are going to be stuck here if you don't let me talk to them. Alright?'' she stated.

"Alright. But let me help too," he responded. Destan simply stared at the three heads which the middle one to Cerberus went silent again. Rania has begun to speak to the heads, the middle one already gave up. Noah looked at her with shock, surprised they were still blabbering nonsense at her but then at each other. The heads seemed like they were trying to attack each other, which Destan stopped right away with an aggressive bark that sent the main head of Cerberus into growling. Ash was being kicked up into the air by Cerberus tail, and his paws started to claw the ground digging up bits of grass.

"OK GUYS THIS ISN'T REALLY WORKING,'' Rania made clear. "We all have to talk to one of them I think--" she attempted to say before being interrupted again. Attempting to speak again but instead to Noah and Destan, "Let's just see which one makes the most sense. They clearly aren't going to stop. In fact, what about the one that attacked the other first? Clearly it feels more important on this issue. Why doesn't the middle one remember anyway?" she questioned them. Nodding, Destan walked back to the Cerberus. Examining them carefully, he listened his hardest to the furthest on the left.

"I think we should try this."

Walking back over, Noah took on the middle one and tried to calm it down, attempting to make it speak instead of listening to the others. Rania did the same, but to the furthest on the right. It already seemed quieter but rushed like before. It seemed like a lot of words were being said, but after a while they came back together after gathering the words of Vayron, and someone named Imperia. "I think... the more the other heads speak but don't interrupt... the more the middle one knows,'' he said to Rania and Destan. Coming together with proof and information gathered, they have begun to learn more about what happened.

“I was able to understand a name, Imperia. Do you know who that could be?”, Noah asked the others, and while Destan shook his head, Rania responded immediately.

“That’s a Tyrian, I have heard others speak about them before. I know a friend of mine we can ask more about who this name belongs to, so let’s go and head out of here,” she let the others know, who were more than happy about the good news that they wouldn’t have to try and further investigate what Cerberus was saying, leaving them without a headache on their way to the city.

“Do you think that we should bring him with us? Near the city?”, Destan asked the others, “I am worried that he might get scared if there are too many others.”

“I don’t think we have too much of a choice. After all, we can’t just leave him alone out here either.”, Reina though withspoke and after thinking about it Destan agreed, while Noah wouldn’t want to leave his new friend anyways, no matter what the others said. To avoid difficulties they would though, for now, bring him to Noah’s home, which was a little outside of the city where one of them would accompany the anomaly, while the others went out to find the Tyrian it urged to meet so intensely.

Before getting anywhere, the four of them would though have to get out of the wastelands, possibly it would be better to say that they could now finally leave them thanks to having a plan what to do next. None of them looked back to the ground that was nothing but grey ash with some boulders here and there, which combined with the winds often filled up the air around them with dust when they stepped onto the ground and swirled some up. The Cerberus did look back a couple of times.

Altogether they tried to get to a village in Warrenfall since they may know something more about this creature. Keeping them close to his side to make sure no one attacked him, they wandered into the village in search of answers. Thankfully soon enough they got some as others started remembering this vayron.

--- 1) Chimera feels a sense of belonging when surrounded by wheat fields. After visiting the local town, you are wandering home late at night near such a plantation when a hissing figure appears before you. Despite their glowing eyes and razor teeth, they don’t appear hostile, and at the most appear only curious and lost. Do you try to communicate? Perhaps you could guide them through the wheat field with you? Or perhaps their frightening appearance scares you deep into one of the fields, with Chimera following behind. Requirement: Draw your Reosean in or near a wheat field with Chimera, with their reaction of meeting this daunting figure.

Noah continued to dart along the path, with Destan behind him. Elakshi was always ahead during the whole run since she seemed to be the quickest out of them all. It was fairly stressful since it told him he really had to work more on his speed. Ignoring the dancing snowflakes which seemed to be most attracted to him and decided to have their lifegoal be blocking his sight he tried his best to watch Elakshi's tail which seemed to be swaying up and down as a teeter-totter would.

"Almost there!" Elakshi exclaimed since she was obviously excited. It was Noahs first time experiencing Roenden, so they wanted to get to the local town right away.

"It's just behind that wheat field. The smoke gives the reason for there to be a town," Destan stated as he followed behind them. Destan seemed pretty intimidating especially since he was focused. It was like he was nervous that Noah was gonna flee somewheres and get himself in trouble with another vayron. After all, even though Noah was nice he still wasn't someone that many wanted around. Noah tried his best to see the smoke but was still blinded. The only thing he managed to see was the tail which Elakshi kept swinging up and down. Over time they finally reached the wheat field, "Finally!" Destan then said.

"Noah?" Elakshi asked as they stopped. She turned around and found him with difficulty. Noah was covered in snowflakes and had barely any honey-colored yellows showing from his pelt so he was fairly hard to see. Destan simply laughed at Noah as he sat down and yawned.

"I think we should hurry," he stated, and Elakshi questioned him on why he was sitting. As the two chattered, Noah only examined the landscape. He also noticed how he was slowly freezing because after all, his home is Thedale. The only reason why he came here was to learn more about the snowy area and find out why someone would even want to live here. Currently, he had no explanations. "Noah," Destan questioned when he suddenly appeared in front of him. "I think there's something here. We seriously have to hurry," he said.

"In other words, get off you're butt because Im not in the mood to die right now because of someone who just wants to daydream," Elakshi stated in a joking voice. You could tell she was trying to be kind but was quite worried.

Destan, on the other hand, seemed rather amused by the whole situation of irony. In front of him sat Noah in the middle of this snowstorm who seemed to have spontaneously lost sense of time and space in addition to his ability to communicate, while slowly freezing to a level where it could get dangerous for a Varon with summer fur like it would grow on one’s skin when living in Thedale. Completely opposing this mood was Elakshi from behind Destan, who was rather easily scared and looked like she would run away in a panic if only a rabbit would come jumping out of the wheat fields in an unexpected surprise.

“Don’t worry, shi-shi! So close to the city nothing will happen and also you are with me,” Destan tried to calm her down. “And, Noah, we should really get going now though because otherwise, you will freeze yourself something off if you keep sitting in the snow with your thin fur. And when we get into the warmth of a fireplace, your voice will maybe return too!”

Just having spoken the intent to bring some easiness in the situation and make the obviously shy visitor more comfortable, Destan was now concerned he might have gone too far with his joke: Shortly after his host stopped talking, Noah’s eyes stared in his direction, with pure panic and as it seemed also fear written onto his face. For a moment Destan was shocked too while feeling guilt, before starting to stutter “I didn’t mean too...”, before abruptly being broken off by Noah, who whispered “Behind you”, the faces expression of fear stony.

Destan’s wonder about this answer was only of short duration, before moments later he suddenly realized a detail that explained why he had felt that something about Noah’s expressing was wrong: His counterpart didn’t look at him, but rather above his right shoulder. This realization and the fact that he could hear Elakshi snapping for breath made him turn around, with his now upcoming concerns being only worsened as Destan saw the cause for the current change in mood.

Between them and Elakshi stood some creature of huge size, of which only its glowing eyes and sharp teeth were visible inside the silhouette that looked like a shadow who got lost in the night.

Elakshi was frozen in place as the shadow slowly emerged from the wheat field, its feet making no noise in the freshly fallen snow. A soft hissing sound filled the air and drew closer as what looked like a tail swung closer to her. To her shock, there was a snakehead on the end of the tail and it was the source of the hissing sound.

Suddenly the shadow creature was clearly visible as it was bathed in light when the moon broke from behind cloud cover. It looked like a large Vayron that happened to have a snake attached to its rear instead of a tail. The snake seemed to be sentient as it looked in Elakshi's direction while the head focused on Destan and Noah. Their face seems almost skeletal and ghoulish in the moonlight with their light face marking that looked like a skull. They tilt their heads in an almost quizzical manner towards the two male ways.

The creature took a slow step towards the boys, which caused Noah to scoot his butt back a bit in the snow in response. It stopped and tilted its head in the opposite direction, almost like it was trying to figure him out. By this point, Noah was almost completely covered in snow and blended into their surroundings. Noah wasn't sure if he should try to run away or simply wait until he was indistinguishable from the rest of the snow to hide. He knew with his lack of experience with this kind of terrain he would be no match to his companions if they tried to run away. Destan took a step forward which took the decision from him.

Destan looked the mysterious way over completely before he glanced at his companions to see how they were responding to this predicament. Noah seemed willing to let someone else take the limelight while Elakshi looked terrified but also didn't want to leave the boys even though she was on the side of the path that was closer to the village.

Destan took another slow short step towards the mysterious vayron and spoke softly, "Hello," They just stared at him, though he's speaking had shifted its focus from Noah and onto himself. He tried speaking again when it made no hint that it would reply, just stared with an unblinking gaze. "Did you need help?" The vayron just continued to stare so he took another step towards it, it blinked at him then all of a sudden dashed back into the wheat field from where it came with just a bare whisper of sound.

All of them had jumped at its sudden movement and then sighed and slumped at its disappearance. Noah looked around at the quiet snow-filled the night before he exclaimed, "the heck?!" Which sentiment was felt by all.

As soon as Blackie stepped outside the village, he broke into a faced paced trot. The uneven dirt road threatened to trip him up but he knew the path well enough to navigate it. He was becoming better and better at making these deliveries and also more reliable. Soon they’ll be having him take on much larger parcels and delivering from town to town. The thought intimidated him a bit. He was still getting used to being on his own, but the fact that they put so much trust in him boosted his confidence a little.

He felt a little tug on his harness as he hopped over the seventh pothole. His left paw slipped off the lip and splashed into the puddle lying at the bottom. Blackie grimaced when the cold water splattered up his leg. He hoped none of it got to the fresh bread and documents he was carrying. He felt a tug on his left side again and looked over to where he could hear Andromeda’s heavy footfalls.

“What?” He asked a tad bit annoyed.

“Slow down, will you? At this pace, we’ll just tire out faster and take longer to get there.” She huffed.

Blackie had requested an escort for this trip and Andromeda answered his call. He was grateful for her but he wished she would let him set the pace. He wanted to finish this delivery as soon as possible.

“I can’t slow down. I have these documents and letters I need to deliver to this family. There’s also this bread. I gotta deliver it while it’s still fresh. There’s no time to lose!” He tried to speed up again but Andromeda grabbed his harness, forcing him to slow down.

“Woah, Woah, Woah. First off, that bread isn’t even fresh. Second, what’s got you all worked up, huh? Why the rush?” Blackie fell silent. He didn’t tell anyone the real reason he needed an escort. He assumed his boss would laugh and send him off on his own again. He thought back to the last time he made a delivery to this same family and that strange vayron that lurked in those fields. Blackie thought he was attentive to his surroundings but the vayron seemed to suddenly appear in front of him. When he used his raven’s eyes to see who he crashed into, he found that this was no normal vayron. The thing’s face scared him half to death and chased him across the fields. It was probably the scariest moment of his life. The family, however, was quite satisfied with his quick delivery time and requested him again. Of course, they did.

“Bandits,” he said quietly. It wasn’t quite a lie. There have been rumors of a group of bandits, ganging up on carriers like him and stealing their goods. Blackie hadn’t come across any of them yet. He’s been very cautious about the roads he takes.

“Ah, I see. Well no need to worry. I can handle them all! Be it two, five or ten bandits, They won’t stand a chance against me.” She grinned down at him. Blackie felt a bit of relief, seeing Andromeda so confident in herself. He forced himself to slow down as she suggested. I’ll be fine. He assured himself and they continued down the long dirt road.

Destan hadn’t been paying too much attention to their conversation, as he was traveling a lot and therefore used to running longer distances when having to reach a goal before the night would fall upon him or being chased by outlaws that were often settling hidden near the main pathways and would attack lone travelers from behind after passing them by. But he noticed that Andromeda, being rather a fighter and sprinter than having much stamina would not be able to follow their pace for the whole trip and Destan knew that when traveling in a group it was an unwritten rule that the slowest would set the pace.

“You are the best runner of us, Blackie, but I find it pretty nice that Andromeda is coming with us without wanting anything in return, so it would only be fair if we let her set the pace, don't you think so?”, Destan whispered to his friend, not letting Andromeda hear it as he knew Blackie wouldn’t like it looking as if he gave in to his friend and rather make himself seem as being kind. “Andromeda, you go ahead,” the Vayron said while slowly falling back until being next to her, “for once they will have to get their delivery at a normal speed.”

“They will survive it,” Destan commented and let himself fall back a little more. He liked to walk a little separate from the others and let his view wander around the landscape. Currently, it was late summer, so they were walking through mixtures of high grass and trees with the first red leaves for the next few hours, before starting to reach the farmlands where Blackie’s customers had built their home. After having wandered through fields where grass had been cut not long ago and was now drying in the sun to be sold as hay later on when being bound together to carryable trusses, the Trio started to be surrounded by tall wheat that had a beautiful golden-yellow color and would surely soon be ready for harvest, if such hadn’t started already.

Suddenly a hissing sound was to be heard next to Destan, who instinctively jumped back as he had had quite a few encounters with rattlesnakes before and the sounds he heard now had brought up those memories. But looking on the ground in front of him, he saw no snake, but the paws that turned out to be part of a huge creature nothing like anything he had ever seen before.

“Guys...there...here…” he stuttered, slowly making steps backward. It walked closer but instead became more friendly and curious instead of terrifying. Destan was still worried at how large it was and if it would attack the other hand. It seemed curious about what they were holding, which happened to be bread. Lowering his head in submission, the chimera seemed to be stepping closer slowly.

"No way!" Andromeda spoke, it seemed more like an excited voice though. The chimera's head perked up with the snake still staring at the bread. Blackie, on the other hand, was more curious about the reaction that could be provoked if they didn't give it. Of course, Andromeda warned them that its best to simply give them it. "It's clearly what they want. Why not just give them it? You want something like that on your side," she told Blackie who nodded. Destan glared at them but set the basket on the ground, waiting for the chimera to take advantage of this moment and collect the bread. It started to eat the bread quickly, in fact chewing on the basket itself. Blackie began to laugh at Destan making jokes about how the creature really enjoyed breadcrumbs. On the other hand, Andromeda was still curious and excited at the creature, so she started to question it about if it went through any previous situations for it to end up this way. It seemed to simply growl at the questions and disappeared once again.

Noah continued to focus on the ground as a way to forget the earlier events. Destan was starting to talk more about what he saw and Elakshi easily responded having a pure interest in the creature from before. It was something that could never be forgotten so easily. At least they were at the village which Destan seemed to be repeating to himself every minute.

" I have to admit, that was actually quite cool," Elakshi said allowed. "Do you think we would see it again?"

"I hope not,'' responded both Destan and Noah together. Elakshi seemed to have a neverending interest though but it was understandable. The creature literally had a snake as a tail. Additionally, from information that has been gathered around town when pestered about what exactly the thing was, they all found out the creature liked bread. The name of the creature was Chimera. Elakshi was determined to find it even as well. Noah still seemed weirded out, but after all, it was his first time in Roenden. No one expects to see such a thing, so it really was shocking.

"Uh, I think it's back," Destan said as he noticed a moving tail that seemed to be staring straight at him. Elakshi stopped both of them and Noah slowly backed up.

"I think it wants something." She stated. "I think... wait... why is it in front of the bread store?" she commented and then realized the answer. "Oh! they want bread!" she exclaimed. The Chimera seemed to turn around right at that second staring at her as if it was a lost puppy. Noah seemed to stop trying to back up though as soon as he saw that it wasn't going to hurt them.

"Er, let's just get him his bread and leave. Maybe he'll go away," Destan mentioned out allowed. Elakshi shot a glare at him and looked at Noah.

"You should get him some bread. After all, you probably have all the money after the thievery!" she teased him as she smiled. Seeming grumpy, Noah trotted forward to confront the creature who already returned to stare at the freshly baked batches of bread. It noticed him entering quickly though, and simply watched him. Destan was next to the door of the store, and he noticed the fact the human at the bakery seemed quite confused as well. "He's not aggressive!" Elakshi told the woman at the counter. Elakshi backed out of the store, looking to Chimera as Noah bought the very needed bread.

When it was time to leave the store, Noah stopped as he was concerned having the object of the Chimera's desire with him, but Elakshi noticed quickly and took it from him, as she wanted anyways was happy about the chance to be the one finding out more about the strange being while getting closer to it. After having left the store, the three stood there looking at the Chimera, which didn't notice them at all.

"Come on, talk to it," Noah said, earning a glare from Elakshi that criticized him not doing it himself. "Hey, Chimera!", Elakshi started anyways while taking a small step forward. "We just got some fresh bread and if you want you can have it."

Looking at her counterpart's visible confusion about this statement and wondering whether it even spoke their language, she put the bread on the ground in front of its feet and backed up between her friends again to signal it was not of interest to her anymore. "You can take it, it's just normal bread. Look!", Destan added an made a gesture of picking up food and putting it into the mouth followed by chewing.

Chimera stared at Destan for a solid minute without blinking, they completely ignored the bread. A fine quiver started to spread through their body until with a split-second action, they leaped upon the bread and held it in their paws tight against their body. They scooted back while they looked between the group of days and the bread they held.

Elakshi laid down so that she posed less of a threat as she softly said, "it's alright, we won't take it." Noah snorts derisively which caused Elakshi to glare at him. He scowled and asked defensively, "what?" Before he sighed and laid down as well while she continued to glare at him. Destan didn't need any prodding and laid down as well as he said, "go ahead, it's best when fresh!" And he smiled as he gestured for chimera to eat.

Chimera took one last look at them before they proceeded to take a dainty bite out of the loaf. A look of such joy and happiness filled their features as they continued to eat more of the bread while they savored every bite.

Elakshi smiled and got up carefully so as not to startle them and whispered and nudged the boys to follow her, "let's leave them in peace to enjoy their bread." She said before she trotted off.

"It actually seemed quite scared and skeptical, I can't believe the shock I got from first seeing it that night. Looking backward that was quite an overreaction," Destan started talking as they were out of hearing distance.

"I guess in that situation most would have reacted with fear. What I wonder more about is what it's gonna do next, do you think it has a plan or something?", Noah added.

"If you ask me, it seemed quite lost and also not belonging to the city, so I don't really think so. Maybe we shouldn't have left so early and rather tried to find out more about exactly that," Elakshi responded, "But some of us felt uncomfortable about bothering it too much."

Silently thinking about that thesis the Trio continued to walk down the street that leads towards the southern marketplace near the port, as suddenly a loud quiet hissing was to be heard immediately behind them. Turning around the Chimera stood in front of them, looking at each one’s face one after the other.

“Hey, didn’t expect to see you so quickly again,” greeted Elakshi, who once again was the most forward one today. As there was no reaction, she further asked: “Can I help you with anything?”

In reaction, it stared at her for a moment before then proceeding to point towards its open mouth, which it demonstrating chewing with shortly after. “Oh, you are still hungry?”, Destan asked. “That makes sense, that one bread probably isn’t a lot for somebody as big as you. Let’s see what we can do.” “We definitely can’t keep feeding it bread, if it really is just purely hungry that would take way too much bread and cost us a fortune,” Elakshi realized. “Hey Noah, do you still have the extra deer around we caught the other deer when we were getting some firewood?”

Noah was at first not really too happy about the idea that they would lose that prey to this hissing stranger, but after it looked at him full of excitement he gave in and went to get some of the already prepared meat with Destan’s help. Coming back to the Chimera and giving it the food, it turned out that bread was clearly not the only food it liked. Within a minute it ate up two massive pieces of meat that would have taken Noah days to finish, but this wasn’t making him angry as it only showed how hungry the Chimera had actually been.

Noah already seemed uncomfortable. Of course, that was easily expected. It just seemed so dark here compared to the other places like Thedale he normally stays at. Even the nights aren't so dark as it was here. "Can we just hurry up and get to that odd place the guy spoke about?" Noah continued to say out loud. Rania seemed to pay no attention as she was already focused on the ground ahead being sure of nothing dangerous was approaching. Destan on the other hand simply walked next to Noah and talked about a place nearby.

"Rania," he began, "I do know somewhere close. There's a ton of caves here in Warrenfall but there's a really good place I used to go to all the time,'' he finished. Destan seemed confident in this as he caught Rania's attention, and she agreed.

"Well, it is quite dark now,'' she told herself as she climbed over a log which had moss crawling from the bark-like small bushes. She looked up to the sky to check what time it was and decided they should really head to a cave.

"I'll lead the way. It's just over here," said Destan as he realized they were already closer than he thought previously. Noah continued to follow while looking awkwardly around, mentioning the creature from before which only seemed to want bread. After a while of that Destan simply laughed and told him to get over it when they reached the cave.

"Seems alright. I guess it'll do. Should any of us keep watch?" she questioned.

"Definitely not me. Im heading on inside!" Noah exclaimed before disappearing. Destan simply sighed.

"I think we will be fine. Almost no one would be out this late anyway."

"Fine then. Don't blame me if your tail is gone in the morning then," and she followed them from behind. Destan seemed to be unable to find Noah when they reached further into the cave. "Noah? Where are you?" he requested, and Rania simply stood there surprised.

"I don't think he'd be responding anytime soon," she commented when she noticed the large creature and the small whitetail which seemed to be behind it. Noah was literally trying to steal from something they've never seen before. Seriously? Destan seemed to be upset completely, whispering angry noises to Noah who perked up his ears when he heard them. He seemed to smile as if he thought they were trying to cheer him on. "Yeah, I think we lost him," Rania decided.

Noah himself was thrilled to see all the shiny items that were stored in a little crevice in the rock he had found after sneaking around the big creature. It almost looked like a Tyrian, but something about it was strangely off in a way he couldn’t really get a grip on - not that this would be his biggest concern right now either. Mostly Noah just wanted to quickly take a look at these shimmering metal objects and then make his way back out quickly, maybe with a few more things stored in his pouch than before if they were what he hoped for. As it turned out, there was an amulet made of gold with some blue chrystals worked into it. “This must be worth a fortune,” a voice in Noah’s head said, who then picked it up and turned around to make his way back out. But not watching his tail, he accidentally hit a bowl made out of burned clay, which fell of a little stool and shattered on the ground making a lot of noise.

With nearly immediate effect Noah had to watch the creature wake up and get on its front legs while turning around to him quickly, glaring at the Vayron who still had the stolen amulet in his mouth, not having had the idea to put it away yet. Now though the view on its full body as possible and as he had speculated before it definitely had wings and the general properties of a Tyrian. Clearly, it was though like none he had ever met before, as it had parts of the markings on his body were glowing and the mane seemed to be constantly whirling, looking like flames in the wind; or where it actual flames?

Nonetheless of however interesting though it was seeing all of this, Noah now realized he had just tried to steal from the stranger and surely this wasn’t making his chances of survival seem any better than before, considering he was in its home neither.

Luckily for him, Destan noticed his dilemma quickly and reacted by starting to talk to the creature: “Hey you over there! Can you help us? We have kinda lost our way as it was so dark on the way home and landed in your cave, sorry for that…” Destan stopped as the creature turned around and took a few steps towards him.

“What about we just all go our way and promise not to come back again?”, Rania asked with a broken voice.

The strange Tyrian bared its teeth and growled at Noah, it had been startled and woken from its sleep and did not seem happy. When Destan tried to draw his attention by talking to him he swung his head over and growled at him as well.

"Well shit," Rania said under her breath, she glared over in Noah's direction "did you really need to rummage through a big creepy Tyrians belongings?" she said in an angry whisper. She moved slowly away from Destan so that the big tyrian would have a hard time if it chose to attack one of them.

Noah gave a tiny shrug as he tried not to draw the Tyrian's attention back to himself. What, he was supposed to just resist the lure of the shiny and walk away like it wasn't calling his name and begging him to take it? He just couldn't do it. and he wasn't sorry either. He tried to slowly lower the amulet without making a noise but it jangled as he tried to get it out of his teeth. The Tyrian's head whipped back around and when it noticed the amulet it growled louder and lowered its head and moved towards him.

Destan leaped forward to try and get between the tyrian and Noah, "Woah Woah Woah, I am sure that he didn't mean to steal it and that he is just trying to give it back," he smiled and then said over his shoulder towards Noah through gritted teeth, "Right?"

Noah sighed, "fine.." he set the amulet back where he found it with another sigh and a longing stare before he walked away from it back towards Rania where he sat and pouted a bit with his shoulders slumped. Rania smacked Noah on the shoulder and said, "Idiot!"

"Hey!" Noah said in response as he rubbed his shoulder and glared at Rania. Rania just lifted an eyebrow at him and he looked away still rubbing his shoulder.

Destan moved back a bit towards the other two, who were near the entrance to the cave. "See no harm done, everything is back where it belongs and we can just leave you in peace." When Destan reached the others he shooed them outside away from the Tyrian as he said, "It looks like we need to find a different cave for the night."

--- 2) This tyrian is strangely drawn to the harnesses and other tack that were used during the war. You discover a cave, but quickly realize it’s already occupied by a tyrian, mist billowing across their body. Luckily for you, they offer to share the cave as the rain starts to patter down. Whilst waiting out the chilling weather, you notice Ravager is fascinated by the tack you had outfitted yourself in for this journey. They reach out to touch the equipment. Do you offer for them to try on your tack? Perhaps a helmet, claw spurs, maybe even your saddle? Do you make a fake saddle for them with some sticks and leaves? Or do you growl, not letting them near your valuable equipment?

Requirement: Draw your Reosean in a cave with Ravager, either offering them some sort of tack or refusing their curiosity.

Roughly thirty minutes after their aggressive encounter with the creature which Destan declared as the Ravager, Noah trotted back with a face which showed the emotion of someone broken that only wanted forgiveness. Rania already knew he was starting to change. Was it the fact we all almost got our heads bit off because of him or is he planning to try to steal it again? She couldn't tell. Destan simply stood there while Noah quickened his pace which resulted in Rania asking Destan what he was attempting to do. Nothing? seemed like it. We had another thief on the loose! As soon as Noah started to run, it has begun to rain. It was saddening how when they found a cave they were chased out by both a tyrian and a pillion splatters of rain.

Noah jumped over the logs of dead trees and through bushes which branches reached for his fur and grasped it tightly. Bits of sticks were sticking to his fur coat which seemed like glittering honey in a pool of white milk. With an awkward trott and Destan screeching at him about how dumb he was being, Rania seemed to piece the situation together. "I think he's just going to say sorry and get him to forgive us. Probably because he's scared of him chasing us and eating us later. Let's just see how it goes and let him go first, it may get interesting!" she smiled, continuing to run next to Destan. Noah's tail disappeared into the cave followed by sobs which sounded extremely fake. Destan stopped Rania before she went further and got to close, him making sure she would be safe. Obviously, he should just stay worried about himself. "He's totally fine."

In the cave, Noah was saying sorry. He was looking the Ravager in the eyes who simply stared at him back without saying anything. It seemed to become friendlier over time, starting to understand the odd needs of Noah. Most importantly, Noah's necklace seemed to interest him. Blue like the flames which blaze bright around the Tyrians neck, the small gem which was held in a silver cage around his neck was blue with swirls of light green. Noah caught onto that and seemed to spark a conversation with them. At this point, Destan and Rania began to walk into the cave, unsure of if he was dead or not. "Uh... lest go check on him," Rania decided. "I don't like being in the rain for so long."

Destan sighed and said, "Well at least let me go first," before he preceded her into the cave. When they got far enough into the cave they peered into the gloom and were surprised to see Noah and the Ravager getting along like long lost friends. Both of their jaws dropped open in surprise, he must have been a smooth talker to get that chummy with him or the ravager was very forgiving. Rania closed her mouth then nudged Destan to do the same then looked at Noah, "So is it safe to come in farther and are we allowed to stay for the night?"

Noah looked up from talking with the ravager with a smile, "sure, come on in, he says its all good." Noah turned back to continue chatting with him.

Destan shook his head as he walked farther into the cave with Rania, "Isn't he just full of surprises?" Rania flicked her tail as she tried to shake off the water from her coat, "I don't care if he is so long as I can get dry, I'm not used to all this moisture and it better not cause mold in my fur. That would be just completely disgusting." They reached Noah and the Ravager and Rania started to take off her bags and gear, "My papers and gear better be ok." After she got her tac off she did a full body shake which ended in her tail whipping to the ceiling and her butt pointed up. "Hey!," Destan called out as water sprinkled him from Rania, "You know you could have moved away to do that, would have been considerate." He followed his own words and moved off away from the group to try and shake the water from his own coat at a safe distance.

Out of the corner of her eye, Rania saw the Ravager as it lowered his head and started to reach for her gear while she tried to dry off, "Oi! Claws off pal! I have some delicate items in my bags and they are not for pawing at." The Ravager pulled its claws back with a sad look on his face as he looked at her before looking longingly back at her gear. She opened one of her bags and pulled out a cloth to rub down her coat while she eyed the Ravager. As she worked to dry her fur she called over to Noah, "Hey do you think you could start a fire since you didn't get as wet as Destan and I did? we probably shouldn't sleep wet or we may get sick."

“Well, if I now go back outside to get wood I will be completely soaked too, so maybe you should go as you are already,” Noah replied, but changed his answer fast as he saw the not too friendly faces of Destan and Rania, “Perhaps it would only be fair that I go, as I am the one that brought us into this situation. Do you guys have firestone’s with you though? I forgot to take some with me, but what about your bag, Rania?”

The female Vayron walked over to her bag, searched through them for a while and finally pulled out a pair of stones, which she laid down beside Destan and Noah.

“We can use these ones, as soon as you got the wood. We will have the cave cleaned up a bit,” Rania said and looked at Noah with an expecting view, who rolled his eyes and turned around to walk outside, shortly after not to be seen anymore as the rain outside with the dark clouds it brought would hinder viewing any further than a few feet.

Noah left the cave, a little annoyed that he would have to now get soaked as much or even more than his friends, but to avoid further trouble he went through with it anyways. Heavy rain plastered into his face when leaving the cave and he quickly ran over to a big spruce tree under which dense needles there were even dry spots. There he picked up some wood and ran back towards the cave, though with the twist that where he ran there was no rock face and neither a cave inside of the inexistent mountain. For a short moment, panic ran through him, as Noah was worried about getting lost in the thunderstorms, but he managed to control himself and find the tree again. This time he looked out for a branch he noticed when coming there and managed to find his way back to the others quickly, who looked at him and the firewood happily in expectance of being able to dry their fur.

After doing as Destan had told him and stepping aside to shake all the water off him, he sat down next to Rania who was watching Destan making fire. It didn’t take long for the experienced traveler and soon the three Vayrons were enjoying the warmth, not through the ravager who had taken place a little further away. He seemed scared by the flames, which was ironic considering his outer appearance.

--- 3) The soft patter of rain quickly becomes heavier, escalating to a thunderstorm raging through the district-- and it has nobody so anxious as Ravager. You come across them huddled away from the maelstrom-- they shakily explain that they’re experiencing flashes of fragmented, strange memories, and ask if you wouldn’t mind staying with them until the weather calms.

Requirement: Draw your Reosean trying to comfort Ravager, or otherwise help them overcome their anxiety of the thunderstorm.

Elijah continued to talk to Destan about the current situation. They were together here in Warrenfall again, but so was this large tyrian which we both agreed to call the Ravager. It was a large tyrian that had blazing flames sprouting from its neck flickering wildly. In fact, they would not need a firepit if the flames were actually warm. They were slightly cold instead to go near, but nothing too awful. "Listen. It's alright," Destan told them both. "It'll be over soon. Just a simple rainstorm."

When Elijah looked down at Ravager though, it didn't appear so. Laying against the cave walls and whimpering, the Ravager was putting his wings over his head. "Make it stop..." were words the creature would repeat.

"It's going to be okay," Elijah repeated to him as he walked over. The cave only echoed the rain, which wasn't anything helpful. Destan seemed to be walking to the outside to peer his head out, but when he did so the Ravager would ask him to stay and protect him. Repeating that things kept getting worse, Ravager seemed like he was about to burst with anxiety. The rainstorm only seemed to get worse with the small rain droplets only getting louder and bigger as it crashed against the floors of the forest. Ravager seemed to of hopped further into the cave where it was slightly harder to hear the rain, but ironically it then began to thunder loudly. The thunder sounded like large boulders were being thrown at the ground or even crushed, which sent Ravager in a full freakout. Ravager seemed to be starting to cry, repeating things that happened previously which is helping trigger the tears.

"The rain needs to stop! It's reminding me... reminding me of too much. I don't want to go through this again... I already went through this so many times and I just hate being alone!" he exclaimed as he buried his head under Elijah as a signal for help. Looking over to Destan who returned to them, he told Elijah the status.

"Yeah, I can hear that. It's clearly not helping whatsoever too Destan."

"Im trying my best. Calm down."

"Sorry, but this tyrian is really freaking out. Look," Elijah said signaling to Destan his own personal situation. With another thud of thunder, lightning soon followed which made Ravager jump almost making Elijah fall onto his face. "Careful!" The Ravager responded with a glare and reminded them of how they were literally in the middle of a panic attack. Destan noticed how they were shaking pretty aggressively which triggered Destan to question him.

"Seriously, what's wrong?"

"It's all flashbacks. I don't understand them. Strange memories that I just hate s-so much," he shuddered as he spoke. You could hear the shakes in his voice when started to really upset Elijah. Elijah turned to Destan warning him to question no further. He then signaled Destan to follow with the shake of his tail, then told Ravager that they'd be right back. Stepping further out of the cave, you could hear the steps they took because of the thud left behind. Destan examined the ground closely, watching for any type of items or useful objects that could help them. All he saw was other rocks and bits of moss that grew on rocks. Small pools of water were within the outer part of the cave. Elijah simply stared at him then spoke.

"What should we do? I'm actually lost on this one," Elijah said.

Destan stared at him for a short while then spoke, "I think we could try to block out the noises of the rain."

"With what? Louder and scarier noises that may just make it all worse?"

"Nope. You. Go sing," Destan responded. Right away he got a glare from Elijah.

"How did you know I sing?"

"I don't. You just told me though," Destan smirked.

"Ugh. Fine. Only because I care though, I know you wouldn't ever sing," Elijah stated. He trotted back to Ravager who was wide-eyed and obviously scared. Shaking even more than before, he whimpered as he attempted to cover his head from the noise even though it wouldn't help. Stepping next to Ravager, Elijah spoke, "I may know something."

Destan smiled behind Elijah, "We are going to help you. Don't worry!"

Elijah then started to sing of birds and peace, remembering that Ravager came from a war. He thought about possible situations that could have happened but ignored anything green and finned in his songs. He had an exact reason why, and it was that other anomalies he met lately have been not very happy hearing the name Imperia. Ravager seemed to slowly calm down over time and smiled lightly. Destan, on the other hand, was laughing which angered Elijah. That resulted in Elijah's voice sounding a bit more aggressive which made Ravager uncomfortable and start shaking again. Elijah noted that but shot a glare towards Destan before stopping. Destan felt bad for this and instead respected what he was doing. Lightning struck again which shocked all three, and sent Ravager back into his panic attack since it broke Elijahs singing. Destan noticed this and whispered to Elijah quickly about a deal.

"If you sing this song, I will sing with you."

"Ah, yes. I do enjoy that song. It's quite popular. In fact, it may remind him of home. Older than any wars that have happened in this world that we all know of, after all."

"Exactly. It's a great idea," Destan said. "You start first."

Ravager started to stare at them anxiously while his flames grew, but Elijah started singing right away in order to calm him down. Destan soon joined in, which surprised Elijah on just how beautiful Destans voice was. It seemed like Destan had more practice since he made everything flow together better. Lightning did continue to strike Warrenfall, but Destan sang over it. Elijah sang with Destan but made sure Destan was louder. After all, his voice was admittedly better. Not for long though! Elijah would get more practice. Starting to noticeably calm down, Ravager then smiled. He seemed to start whispering the words they sang, happy about the situation before him. He seemed to be curling up a bit into a more comfortable position than before. Looking at each other, Destan and Elijah continued to sing happily. Soon enough the storm died down but all were already sleeping by the time it was over. Ravager woke up before they did, but then woke Destan up. Letting Elijah sleep, he thanked Destan for what he did. After all, Destan seemed to be the mastermind behind that whole plan. "That song is one I could never forget. Thank you so, so so much. It means a lot. It feels like I really can move on from what happened to me before."

"You're more than welcome. I'm glad I got to actually sing again. In fact, I got to figure out that Elijah actually sings. He sounded pretty good. Don't you think? Maybe I and he can start a band together-"

"Shush. You're making me wake up. And you are talking too much," Elijah whimpered as he laid on the ground. All he wanted to do was sleep.

Ravager simply smiled. All: Personal work + 1 Added Reos + 2 Anomoly Entry + 3 1213 words + 12 Total = 18
