Titaness of the night oracles and falling stars and Vela 4945 - Journey ♦ Vitalus: Your party sets out at the gates of the Silver Province and extends from there downwards through Nepte's caverns - from there, you'll venture through the forest of Ebrus and end your trial with a trek over the salt flats and into the famed white city of Hoius. One of the longest trails for the Journey Trial, this venture takes most reoseans 10-13 days.

"Im here," Vela stated, seeing Hasterya in front of her. "It's good to see how you're already prepared," she stated when seeing the wings of Hasterya tied up. In order to complete the journey truthfully and get what Hasterya needed, this was required. Hasterya didn't bother to turn around. She simply stood on the damp grass, the mist surrounding her. It was interesting, for sure. Vela examined the background as she waited for a response. Islands were in the distance up above, but not below due to being on ground level. After all, Vela wouldn't be able to go on this journey if it was up above obviously due to being a normal puller!

"Of course! After all, this is my purity trail. What an exciting journey that'll happen before us!" Hasterya exclaimed. Currently, they were almost right next to the gates of the Silver Province. More to the side, since there was always so much traffic and they wanted to start quickly. "Have you ever been here before?" she asked Vela.

"Absolutely. This is where I got my young Ole."

"Ah, that makes sense," Hasterya responded. "Now shall we go? It's the beginning of the day after all," she noted.

"It's interesting how easily you can tell it even with the mist everywhere," Vela responded, a smile crossing her face. "Let's go." It was easy to tell Hasterya didn't like doing this as soon as they started walking. It was interesting as well that she was kind enough to just let Vela do it with her instead of her find another tyrian. With four wings and a black coat, she was made to fly. They walked the rest of the day, it goes by easily as Hasterya stated information on different buildings and landscapes noticed by Vela. Together, Hasterya and Vela rested next to a large tree with roots that hugged the ground, twisting like snakes. They talked about Napte's caverns as well, about how beautiful and odd they were when they went through them.

The next couple of days were tiring. It involved mostly Vela hunting, due to Hasterya not enjoying the thought of running around through the trees with everything tied up. "I think I'll let you do it. I will happily give you something in return later for Ole, knowing that you most likely enjoy gifting his things!" she decided.

After resting and enjoying some more days of pure walking, they would examine the background. Hasterya noted, "I never knew an island could be so small." when they were continuing their journey early in the morning. Hasterya also would mention the many animals found. These animals included Kirins, something Vela was actually amazed to see. They discovered together that she loved those creatures.

Crossing the forest of Ebrus Hasterya suddenly started to talk about all kinds of things she knew about this place, leaving Vela stunned by this sudden change of roles. “How does it come that you know so much about this area? I thought you have never been around here too much, and even I who traveled a lot through here don’t know a piece of what you just told me.” “I just meant that I haven’t walked through this area yet. When flying into the southeastern direction, this is the way to get around the mountains, where sometimes it’s too hard to cross at high altitude when it storms. Therefore my companions and I would often rest in these woods for the night and because I got fascinated by their beauty I asked a friend who grew up in these lands to tell me more about them. Did you know that during the big war this area was fought about really hard?”, Hasterya replied. “Ah, that makes sense and no, I didn’t know that. Hard to imagine when looking at how peaceful the landscape is nowadays.” Carrying on, they came by an old ruin laying not too far from the path behind some bushes which were for some reason perfectly cut into a rectangular shape. Their attention had been caught, so Vela and Hasterya now inspected what lay behind those bushes and were surprised to see the rest of some old temple that had collapsed some time ago, but in perfect shape with no moss or other signs of the weather. Even the grass on the floor was cut and looked like somebody had put a lot of care into growing it very dense and pretty, finally making Vela speak out what both of them had been thinking for a while: “This place is weird, I don’t understand at all what’s going on. If it collapsed recently there would be debris left, but if it collapsed a long time ago, why would somebody still keep all of this in perfect shape?” “Maybe it is someplace where they do the old magic rituals and the priests are worried that working on the building itself could destroy its abilities. If so, it was probably destroyed in the war, imagine how long ago that was. Fascinating!” After this short interchange of thoughts, the Duo started to quickly continue their way down the heavily beaten path, not wanting to spend too much time with just another distraction from their ultimate goal to do the journey in 10 days. Walking in silence for the next two hours, Hasterya had to walk right in the middle of the path because of her sheer size, while for Vela’s smaller paws the rough ground proved a challenge and made her rather use the side where it was less beaten out. Like this, they made good progress and were happy with how far they managed to get when the sun started to set itself down and a little clearing next to a pond was chosen as an adequate accommodation for the night. “As always, I guess? You will make the fire and organize the camp, while I go hunting?” “Sounds perfect”, Hasterya replied. Thinking to herself when starting to wander off in search of prey, Vela didn’t find this perfect at all, but the tied up wings were too good of an argument for spending any further energy on worrying about it. Walking into the forest she was at first extremely unsuccessful when it came to finding anything huntable because the trees were standing so close that everything would hear her way before leaving a chance to attack. But after a while, the forest opened up to grasslands, and sooner than later Vela spotted a deer standing around completely alone and unprotected in the tall grass. Quickly acting in fear of other predators having spotted this abnormally easy source of meat, Vela played down and crawled towards the deer, hidden from its eyes by the tall grass, making sure to be as silent as possible. She shot up and forward when getting as close as ten feet, and caught the deer only seconds after it started running away by throwing it to the ground by grabbing its back with her front paws. There a precise bite into the neck ended the deer’s life quick and very humane as the pain was only shortly before it died. Proudness was written on Vela’s face when returning to their camp with such a big prey after only about half an hour, where Hasterya helped to prepare the meat and put it over the fire. “How did you catch it so fast? Must have been really lucky!”

After that, they continued their journey together. Nearing the white city of Hoius, they were amazed at the sight of it. "It is beautiful." Hasterya decided. "You aren't wrong, it's so... white! It lives up to its name." Vela responded. They were nearing the sight and excited at it when they got closer. Vela seemed secretly thankful that they were about to be finished with that trail since Vela wanted to go home to Ole. It seemed like Hasterya just wanted to fly.

"Almost there," Hasterya stated. soon enough, they were in the city. It had large white walls that looked like it was made from marble."Thank you for being with me during this trial. I wouldn't want to do it again admittedly." she mentioned.

"I don't think I want to do it at all. On the other hand, now we can enjoy our time! I've never been here before. There are always so many Tyrians so I usually avoid it." she responded. Vela seemed to already be walking into the city with Hasterya following her. Hasterya asked her to untie her wings and so Vela stopped to do so. It was interesting, not too many things happened during the trail, all being days that repeated each other. Thankfully, it also allowed Vela AND Hasterya to learn more about the landscape and Vitalus itself. Planning to stay together for a while before they head back, Vela would pay for Hasterya's meals for a short while and even talk more about their adventure. Vela decided to stay back longer though since she enjoyed the beauty.
