Dragons must undergo thorough courtship traditions before others will be interested in breeding with them. The Grand Display pushes their skills to the limit, ensuring only the finest of Dragons will go on to breed. Each element has their own traditions to impress others of their kind, though this same practice can dissuade their opposing element from breeding. Regardless of this, achieving their own element’s Grand Display is a dream of every growing dragon, and they are eager to enter into the ceremony as soon as permitted.

Before they can impress potential mates, they must earn the respect of an elemental dragon matching their own element which has already passed through the Grand Display. This dragon should also not belong to the same player as the dragon going through the trial.

Strength Trial

The darl sky was a friend, the cool darkness and lack of light meant Rimla could hide with relative ease, even without surrounding herself in fog, even the glittering stars were no bother, very few creatures were out this at this time... which would make her companions hunt a little bit harder; swooping down she shyly hovered above the tiny from of Sharkie, and adorable little dragon who loved hugs. She herself was glad of the company... both because she was not very sociable and what was coming up was terrifying for her, but also because her opponent was rumored to be huge..... Sharkie for his part was running over the cool earth, sort of nimbly avoiding the large rocks that lay scattered about, sensing Rimla descent he waved at her, and the raven that was resting on her... he didn't enjoy hunting normally.. but.... if he could get some large animal skinks Diem would be happy, and that meant more pets. His hope was that oncoming clash would drive some prey towards him..

Rimla felt, more than saw the dragon beyond... but it wasn't long before the two headed dragon was visible, the immense body resting as one head absently snapped at something next to her, ears twitching as the other looked straight at her... She faltered... she couldnt' do this, below Sharkie waved at her again, grinning before running up the snail like dragon and squeking, arms spread. The head that had been watching Rimla lowered nuzzling the small shark like dragon, her voice soft. "Sorry little one, i can't pick you up, no arms." She cooed, the other head remained silent. Happy that she'd awknowledged him, he waddled off, towards where he could see a faint outling of a creature.. and this one was no dragon. Both heads looked towards Rimla, and the left one spoke. "Don't worry, we won't hurt you, it is a test afterall, Bess will just watch." Rimla hesitated, but her raven flew off landing on the dragons shell, and then she spotted a second raven dozing. "O-okay. She responded so softly the darkness all but swallowed the words, the two headed dragons ears twitched... and a ball of fire erupted, small, but its aim was true. Rimla reacted, slipping out of the way and wrapping herself in her fogm her form hidden inside... her starpearl eye outside the field, as she struck back with a shadow, numerous as they were in the darkness.

Sharkie could feel the shadows moving as Rimla manipulated them, but his attention was on the herd before him. a large group of deer, several were dozing, others keeping watch...and he pounced, leaping (sorta) from the darkness to attack the powerful stag, landing on its back, squeks of happiness as he caught his prey.....

The stag bucked, while not the most threatening of creatures, the small shark like dragon was that.. a dragon and it was on the animals back, the herd coming awake as the threat registered, Sharkie squeked as he held on the buck, thrown off by the weight went towards the still form of the snail like dragon its focus on the threat it could feel.

Rimla dodged another fireball, the two headed dragons aim true despite the fog that hid her... of course... like her the dragon was dark... and she was older... and so she did everything she could, lobbying shadow after shadow at the older female, attacking from all angles at the left head, showing her strength the only way she could think of.

At that point she spotted Sharkie atop a stag, but before she could call out, the right head lunged, killing the buck with ease.... not that Sharkie spotted it, the small dragons chest proudly thrust forward as he waved at the second head, still atop the fallen buck he'd hunted. Realising she'd left herself open to attack she tensed, sneaking a look at the left head that winked at her before speaking. "I think thats enough."She said gently, Rimla drooped glad that ordeal was over, her raven returning as she let the fog fade, hovering over the proud from Sharkie.
