Notes
- Sindt towers over Nixus, even standing up as straight as possible, Nixus can't quite reach Sindt's face for smooches.
- Both Nixus and Sindt think very highly of each other and have a healthy respect for their relationship.
- Nixus tries to make something delicious for the beginning of any of Sindt's trips, but sometimes Sindt takes off before anything is ready.

Background / About
Sindt and Nixus have been a couple for quite a few years, though a majority of their time together has been apart, as Sindt has nomadic tendencies and travels for work. Sindt sends letters or postcards about the towns he visits and his experiences within as he leaves them, and unfortunately it makes it impossible for Nixus to write back. Nixus tends to talk Sindt's ears off once Sindt returns home.
Neither of them remember exactly how they met, but it was on one of Sindt's never-ending journeys, where he visited the port town. He favored staying at bed and breakfasts so he can eat there in the morning before doing sales during the day, but he heard of a wonderful local bake shop and had to try it that morning. He and Nixus hit it off very hard, and Sindt stayed in town for a while longer than intended, as he felt drawn to the energetic baker. Nixus was quite happy to see him every morning he stopped by as well.
Sindt's wanderlust and need for new jewels and stones had him leave town after a while; but the next time he came back, a town festival was being prepared. He signed up to sell his wares at a booth there, but the next morning Nixus invited him out to spend the first evening of the festival together. They had a whirlwind of a time, and continued to go out every evening the festival was set up, and became smitten with each other in the time that passed. They continued to spend evenings together whenever Sindt was in town, and the relationship naturally evolved, even knowing that Sindt would never stay in one place for too long, and that Nixus didn't think travelling suited him.
Habits
Sindt loves making jewelry especially for Nixus, and these pieces are always the ones that Sindt is most proud of. He spends a lot of extra time making them absolutely perfect. Nixus has quite the large collection and several favorites. In the beginning he felt a little silly being a guy wearing so much jewelry but he always got a lot of compliments on them, and any excuse to talk about his amazing boyfriend is a good excuse. Sindt tends to focus on making them when he's off travelling and feeling lonely; he'll tinker at his projects slowly while thinking of Nixus, generally while he should be sleeping.
Whenever they're both in town, they always have dinner together, after having long mornings and afternoons working separately. They take turns cooking, and they both have completely different sets of cooking skills, so they enjoy a variety of foods. But there's always breads.
Sindt is skilled at prepping and making different kinds of jerkies, and Nixus loves making savory breads with them. Both will also make delicious jams and jellies together out of fruits and berries Sindt brings home, and Nixus loves making jelly-filled breads.
They're very considerate about PDA, and tend to just stand close when in public, or just do smaller things like hold hands or rest a palm on a back or shoulder. In private, however they're very physically affectionate and tend to be glued at the hips. Forehead, hand, and neck kisses are frequent, as are smaller habits like soft hand massages. When sitting together they relax at each others' sides, or if it's a quiet reading or napping evening, Nixus tends to rest his head on Sindt's lap. Back massages are also common, mostly instigated by Sindt for Nixus.
They don't have a set sleeping habit. Spooning is infrequent; Nixus generally buries himself into Sindt's chest or back if they're side by side, the latter having Nixus be the big spoon. Nixus enjoys using Sindt's chest as a pillow as well. If Nixus sleeps on his stomach, Sindt will most likely toss his arm over his back and knit together their legs, practically enveloping him.
Nixus looks up to Sindt a great deal. Both literally, as they have a bit of a height difference between them, and also figuratively. He considers Sindt to be one of the nicest people he has ever met, and certainly the most handsome. Sindt is a people-pleaser, very polite and knows what to say in any situation, and sees the best in everyone. He finds that to be especially true when Sindt deals with him. He always seems to know just what to say when he's emotionally charged, or even if he does it, just lending an ear as he always does is a huge help. He never dismisses his feelings as unimportant at all. Sindt is also amazingly talented with his hands. Whenever Nixus asks for help in the bakery, no matter what he asks of Sindt, he always seems to easily do the tasks he's given. He can decorate speciality cakes even better than Nixus himself. On bad days, Nixus will lay in bed trying to sleep and just think about how much he doesn't deserve such a wonderful person as Sindt.
Sindt also respects Nixus to a high degree. Nixus has been managing an entire bakery by himself for years. He is competent and responsible. He knows Nixus doesn't consider himself such, but he is just as personable as Sindt can be, and it comes naturally with his job. He can set out a huge list of tasks for himself every day and accomplish them. He's a miracle-worker in the kitchen; all of his recipes were made by scratch from him, and they're all memorized. He knows exactly what to do to solve any problem in the bakery, and he has a quick mind for non-bakery problems as well. He doesn't realize it, but Sindt noticed, but Nixus gives out a lot of friendly advice when his shoppers small-talk with him, and they tend to gravitate toward him in the mornings sometimes for his pick-me-ups. Sindt thinks he learns something new whenever Nixus prattles on about an interest.
Their relationship is very stable, but they still have their bumps and bruises.
Nixus has a bit of a jealous streak; as Sindt travels so much it is impossible for him to see what goes on for long periods of time. While Nixus does trust Sindt, it's quite difficult sometimes for Sindt to curb advances toward himself. He's very friendly and sociable, and in most towns is thought to be quite the eligible bachelor. Unfortunately too many people tend to not believe that he's taken. This even happens when Sindt is in town. Sindt easily deflects or ignores the ladies who tend to flirt with him, but Nixus stews about it for a while until they can talk about it.
With most of their time spent a distance away, they both have unspoken fears that the other will find someone new while they are apart. Nixus also fears that Sindt may go off somewhere dangerous he cannot come back from.
They don't have any current plans for marriage. They haven't brought it up with each other much; they both believe that it wouldn't change their current relationship in any significant way. The day they got married would just be a noisy day where they must spend money they don't really have to host a load of people they see enough as it is. With Sindt's travelling habits, he also has faraway friends that neither want to have to figure out lodgings for if they were to come into town.
