A Breeding Sanctuary Glimpse

Standing around in the rather messy kitchen, Al was doing his best to clean it up. His small arms were only so much use though, leaving a lot of bigger things like washing dishes for Gerold once the meal was done. The air was just starting to fill with some smells, the rice cooking away in a large rice cooker off to the side and needed no attention once it was put on. It was the more pleasant smelling rice from what ALphonse could tell, jasmine rice? Daisy rice? Rose rice? Some sort of flower and some sort of rice, whatever it was though, Al just knew it was delicious smelling.

Gerold was working on the stew itself, adding in carrots and celery now, stirring the thickening liquid that was a golden brown in color with small pieces of everything floating. It was a big batch too, so plenty for everyone to eat!

“Alphone, go have Ryuu and Gale go collect more herbs from the garden. I think I just saw them running past.” Looking back to the window as his little nose bubble drifted off, his spiked tail swishing as he saw the baby blue fox running by with a weird fuzzy cat dragon close behind.

“Will do! Do you desire to wander with me into the backyard?” He asked the multi limbed horse that had been offered a blanket to lay in and took this offer happily. “We can find some wild vegetation to bring back for carrot cake and the suches, it’s a lovely dessert!” Getting more excited, ore bubbles drifted out of his mouth and nose, still learning to control that ability of his.

Happily resting, Mytos was looking around the area with the eye in his chest, small teeth surrounding it. The duel colored eye was a bit of an odd sight for children, and not one he showed off often, but he felt like he was in good, comfortable company. Everything smelled oh so nice as well in the kitchen while the riders had been cooking. Usagi might not be the most amazing chef in the chronoscape, but he still made delicious things that the horse ate with much gusto.

A bit of a shy, quiet fellow, he was slowly coming out of his shell with the new companions they had run into on the road. "I would love to," he nodded, getting up from his nice spot on the blanket. While he wasn't sure who Gale and Ryuu were yet, so far everyone in the large compound was quite nice. He especially thought the dragon that was not a dragon and dark partner were interesting. Though sharing an element with the dark one might have assisted with that. "Will there be apple pie as well?"

“Possibly, if we can find many apples to be had! Gerold can make a simple pie for us as we eat. So i’ll be nice and hot for dessert~” That seemed to e enough temptation for company, off to the outside world of apples.

Listening to the horse-like dragon get up, Gerold looked up from the cooking pot to Zroen, who gave him a nice wave until he returned back to the soup. He was used to the company to some extent, but that didn’t mean he always paid them mind. He was like an old man, an old man that was so young in appearance.

“Excuse us for the mess, we have two young males that also live and use the kitchen. If you want to explore feel free to.” In the kitchen itself sat the table where most meals were eaten. Currently a smaller round shape but it could be told that it could become larger from the triangular like slits in the top that blended nice enough into one another. Beyond that were side rooms with doors marked as to who stayed where, with halls to the library, bathrooms, the small greenhouse, and one that led to the porch that overlooked a rather pretty beach. It was a large dwelling if only what was living here, but there were many that stayed and came and went.

With Alphonse, he was leading the way to the open backyard full of a lot of greenery. Some sealed away in a glass-like house next to what looked like a shed, but there were rows upon rows of an open garden that were currently being tended by the blue fox and pink cat dragon who were snapping at one another as if a game.

“Oh! There they are, they’re having one of their bite fights again.” Dangling his little arms as he looked up to Mytos before going over to the edge and making some dino noises that caught the attention of the two. “Gerold needs more spices and herbs! We have guests over so don’t be too gay!”

Holding up a plate, Zoren had it perfectly balanced on his finger as it spun around like a basketball. "Worry not my frowny fellow, I'm having a grand time by your side and mind not the mess, though I wish I could find your happy button; I'm sure you'd look just dashing with a smile!" Grabbing hold of the plate to stop its spin, it was at least dry now with the bit of flare. "I'll eat my hat if I can't see that frown upside down by the time we depart!"

Much less excitable than his rider, Mytos was at least excited for the prospect of apple pie if they could find enough of the sweet fruit. The main probably would likely come from not eating all the apples before they could bring them back to the rider. Following after the cheerful, bubbly dinosaur, they did come upon a rather unusual pair. Leaping at one another with flashing teeth, the dragon very much questioned if they would be alright if left to their own devices.

"Are you sure you shouldn't be warning them not to hurt one another instead?" He asked, full of concern as the blue fox made a huffing noise. Getting one last nip at the other's ears, the two tailed fox scampered off to a different patch to fulfill the request. Too gay! As if he'd ever.

“I would prefer if you didn’t press any of my buttons, if you would be so kind.” Gerold told the other rather blandly, staring at the spinning plate as he hummed but went back to mix the stew that was growing thick and bubbling away. “Set up the table if you’d be so kind though, the other two will be joining us for at least a moment before running off to bite at each other.” Knowing the young fox and hybrid well, he also wondered when they would settle down and become less angry gays.

Alphonse was still as he watched the pair perk up, both had their set of twitching ears on him before off to another patch of not vegetation and other foliage. With the blue twin tailed fox in the lead, the pink dragon hybrid was soon after with his whip tail wiggling behind, more then happy to chase the other off in this prospect of ‘not gay’

“They do that a lot, something about pent up gay feelings?” Whatever it was, Al led the way for Mytos and him to pick fruits and veggies, happy to have company in the usually dull task.
