Love At First SIght

Knowing the next thing to do was to finally introduce Krites to his dragons, Folkren had tried dragging all three along, but the other two weren't as interested in actually meeting the pair in person. They could tell by their rider's tingly feels whenever he would take a break from the caravans to go seek out the celestial that they made him happy. That was good enough for them.

Vina, on the other hand, had a different sort of goal than simply meeting Kri to see if she approved of him or not. There was a little white dog with many eyes that she wanted to become acquainted with. Much like her rider, she was quite friendly and social in general, but hadn't found that special someone to become interested as he had. Clearly, this was because she hadn't actually gotten a glimpse of the dragon with the crooked fingers before. The picture Folkren brought back to her had been from his first 'date' with Kri when they had dressed up for an exciting day around the town. Ever since, Vina wanted to go with him to meet the pair, but the timing had never been right.

But now! Now was her chance! Wiggling excitedly, her tail smacked against the ground a couple times as they made their way through the forest together. She wasn't normally big enough for her rider to ride, her head only coming up to his waist, but with a little earth magic, she doubled her size and strength to get them to Kri's mobile home that little bit quicker.

Today, the pair of celestial and dragon sat near a waterfall that roared on. A wonder how they were able to find the water source even with its noise, the path nested behind many trees that all overlapped one another into an intricate design to hide the treasure of a beautiful sight. It was a joy all the same as Krites was waiting for Folkren to find them so they could have a nice picnic near the water, maybe followed by a shallow swim to progress this second bond affections that the other blond rider was set in seeking out. Krites wasn't too concerned either way, accepting the idea that one day the strange elf may want to be free from him, but for now that wasn't the case.

"I found a very pretty spot, Kri! Wanna come see it?" Lykos returned at last, wiggling his tail and entire body as the celestial rider leaned down to pet him.

"Soon. Lykos, you don't want Folkren friend and new dragon friend to get lost… do you?" Gasping at that idea, the pale colored dragon (that never ceased to amuse him) shook.his head.

"No! Never! We shall wait then, for Folkren friend and dragon friend!" Sitting his butt down, Krites nodded as he took the spot on a rather nice rock, red colored eyes gazing out into the treeline to see if the pair could.be spotted.

"They'll be here soon, I'm sure. It is after all our bonding picnic, Folkren wouldn't be late to such an important event."

Weaving through the dense forest, it was an easier run with her rider leaning to lead her around the trees! Vina just had to focus on not tripping over any sudden roots sticking out, or branches that might smack them both over the head. By the time the roaring sound of the falls reached her ears, she had done more damage to the trees than they did to her with her excitement.

"Kri!" Folkren called out to the two at the break in the forest. Sliding off of his dragon, he patted the wiggling dino's side as she returned to her normal size. "I'd like to introduce you to Vina, she's been wanting to meet both you and Lykos for awhile now." Wiggling her emerald spiked tail, the thing was still a dangerous weapon with her small size. Keeping it still as she approached the celestial, he was a lot bigger than she imagined. She knew her rider wasn't on the short side, but this man surely made it appear that way. Sniffing at him, of course, she didn't mind what kind of lover Folkren wished for as long as they were nice. She was a simple girl with simple needs, one of those needs were in front of her now though. The main reason she wanted to attend would be the smaller Lykos that she eyed with a grin. Ah yes, he was just as cute without his little bow too!

As easily influenced by the rule of 'love at first sight' as her rider, she might be considered a bit overzealous, but if it worked out for him surely it would for her as well! "Hello Kri, hello Lykos, nice to meet you." Not offering a clawed hand, instead, she leaned her maned head forward. More so to the side like she was expecting a couple strokes behind her jeweled frill, taking up the habit as Folkren always greeted her with pets there whenever he came back. In his defense, it was a lot easier than accidentally getting headbutted on his return from an energetic dragon.

Starting to lay out the blanket as Lykos went splashing in the water to collect a few small gems that were seen from the surface, shiny and rather big ones that probably washed out from the water caverns the water fell from. It was a pleasant time of waiting until the two came into sight, With Kri just finishing with the layout that overlooked the water so the dragons could splash as they pleased in eyesight. Flattening out the blanket as his head looked up to the familiar call, he was up to his feet with Lykos leading the way, a few gems clutched in his fingers as he went right up to headbutt Folkren hello while staring at the new friend.

“Hello Vina, it’s very nice to meet you. You’re a very pretty dragon.” Cooing sweetly like he did with his own dragon, he gave into those head scratches and rubbed along her head like the excited and fluffy dog he still saw her as. Similarly to Lykos who was wagging his less dangerous tail as he waited to say hello.

“Hello Vina! Are you here for the bonding picnic? Do you want a gem?” Holding up the pretty green gems for her to pick from, he had been a while since he had another dragon friend that was more his size. Already so excited as his tufted tail with small spikes was whipping back and forth as Kri just chuckled and wrapped an arm around Folkren to lead him to the sitting spot.

“You two play nice now, maybe you can show her where you found the pretty gems. There are probably more.” More so suggesting it as he saw those excited tail wiggles, it would take a little bit longer for the food to finish and it was a nice distraction in the meantime.

Yes, something strikingly similar to what Lykos did, was something Folkren was teaching his own dragon to avoid. At least the little white dragon with multiple eyes didn't have any horns to stab him with.

The equally small dragon's slitted eyes went round and sparkly at the sight of the gems being offered. Much like her parents, she was weak to the pretty rocks. Reaching out, she took as many as the male would let her. "Yes, yes please! Thank you!" If she had possibly considered not accepting the bond before, she surely was going to now. "Oooh, yes yes yes, let's go find more. I'm good at finding gems, clearly you are too~" Not to mention they were even more adorable than she thought they were. Yeap. This was going to be her Lykos, she was going to make it so. Gently. And with lots of petting. Probably.

More than happy with the way things were going, Folkren was glad to get those pleasant tingles from his dragon. Though he was questioning that dash of possessiveness he was getting from her. Glancing up to what was going to be his future husband, excitement was clear in the confident way he went back to sit with them. "I think that went rather well. Though I also feel a little bad for Lykos, he might have a slightly crazy fan girl."

“Both are very good dragons, so of course it would go well.” Kri could feel Lykos’s happy tingle as he was off splashing and showing the dam where he found the gems, his finger digging into the softer sand and dirt to tug them out as Kri chuckled before leaning into Folkren that little bit more.

He wasn’t sure exactly what he thought of the other, but he found them pleasant and that seemed to be enough to make everyone happy. Lykos enjoyed the company from the other, and the not murdery attitude Folkren took on, and Kri liked having some company he didn’t find stab worthy. Which wasn’t as odd as it sounded, as he came across many that he let be in their lives of love and frivolous desires.

“I’m sure he’ll be fine, he does need a dragon friend.” Leaning into the fluffy blond hair, he gave a more gentle if also tentative kiss on Folkren’s forehead, sitting for now to watch them splash about. Soon food would be done and more enjoyment would be had, but for now it was the time to relax as the dragons played. A bonding picnic well set up if you asked him.
