Featuring Havoc 821

Rotating Duty #1

The Tsotska live in harmony with dragons—including non-elemental dragons! These wild dragons take on all shapes and sizes and can be found throughout nature. From the huge dragon residing in the volcano to the smallest dragons that guard flower patches, each one has a price for its peace. Show your character offering a tribute to one of these wild dragons. This duty takes place on Tsotska d’la Mer.

Havoc flared his wings, spotting the shadow outline of the Tsotska d’la Mer, the immense mountains a fierce guard against anything that would come its way; and beyond he could see the volcanic cone, steam billowing, a sign it was active, but below he could feel the snow of the island, humming against his storm senses. "So why are we here again, and not the inhabitants." Havoc growled, riding the shifting wind currents with an ease his size hid. Meiron snorted at the dragons acerbic comment. "Just because i don't do too much with the coalition, doesn't mean they don't interest me." the cat replied, his fingers gripping the ruff that covered the dragon he was riding. "Besides, a volcano of that age and activity should of erupted or be close to it, and yet... it hasn't." He shrugged, as the dragon flared his wings to land, the snow swirling around them, almost playfully. "And you were bored." Havoc supplied, his rider was sometimes easy to read, as the cat slid off his back, ears pricking.

The area they'd landed on was empty of any life, the snow covering the rocky terrain like a blanket, easily a foot deep in places, and deeper at other points, not that Meiron minded, trudging through the white cover towards the larger rocks he could see, Havoc trailed behind, wings tucked tight as he scanned the area.

A giggle sounded, and a small flurry of snow hit the cat, who narrowed his eyes, Havoc snickered, before a snowball hit him, hissing he slammed his tail into the snow.... but the giggle sounded again, far to the left. "Try not to insult it. I think its one of the wild dragons were meant to find." Meiron admonished. Havoc grumbled.... and called on his storm magic, the snows shifting around where he thought the dragon was... for a moment he caught a glimpse of pure white scales, a tiny frame, and huge ears, before the magic shifted as another snowball hit him.

Meiron shook his head as Havoc chased after the tiny white thing, all but invisible in the snow, though at least it seemed amused by the hybrid than insulted, storm magic brushing against him as the dragon used it in its various guises, icicles rising to slow the wild-dragons movements, water to make the snow icy ... and all the time snowball's kept coming Havoc's way. Leaving the dragons to their game he hunted around for a 'shrine', not all of them had it, but some had a marked place where offerings/tributes were left. Not spotted anything, he returned his attention to Havoc, as the dragon molded his storm magic, manifesting massive ice talons, trapping the small wild dragon. "Hah, got you." He bared his teeth.... and the dragon giggled, not bothered in the least.

Reaching into the bag he'd been carried, he pulled out a few items, laying them out for the wild dragon to see, at his order, Havoc grudgingly retracted the storm magic, freeing his prey; and the small white thing curried over to the offered items; it ran its tiny paws of the sapphire gem, ignoring the glare hybrid shot its ways, gemstones tended to vanish around a cenote full of earth dragons, and Havoc had been eyeing it up. It nodded and nosed at the others items, some meat, a hide and a feather. It glanced at Meiron, head cocked. The cat shrugged. "Well how was i to know what you would like." The wild dragon chirped, pressing against him before nudging the meat back towards Havoc, before scarpering off with the others. "Overgrown rat, i wanted that gemstone." Havoc yelled, grumbling as Meiron picked up the meat. "So you don't want this then?" He asked pleasantly, earning a glare from his dragon, before Havoc snapped it up, as the navy cat climbed up onto his back.

A snowball hit him as he took off, and he swung around to glare at the wild dragon as it waved at him... the sapphire resting near him. Cheeky creature.
