Featuring Havoc 821

Rotating Duty #4

The Tsotska live in harmony with dragons—including non-elemental dragons! These wild dragons take on all shapes and sizes and can be found throughout nature. From the huge dragon residing in the volcano to the smallest dragons that guard flower patches, each one has a price for its peace. Show your character offering a tribute to one of these wild dragons. This duty takes place on Tsotska d’la Mer.

Havoc had a plan, given that he now suspected Meiron picked him to go on these 'tributes' because Havoc loathed them (well the last one hadn't been too bad), he had decided to pretend he was thrilled... or at least okay with the idea... maybe the cat would then pick someone else... and it wouldn't hurt to at least try; so of course once he spotted the navy cat packing a few odd bits, he knew they were once again going to Tsotska d'la Mer, he walked up. "Which one is it this time." He asked, his voice.. pitched to sound interesting. He mentally grinned as the bestia stared at him, one of the navy ears twitching, but the shift's expression didn't change. "One that dwells in a open cave." Came the response, Havoc blinked at the description ... caves weren't open... not unless you counted the opening, still he didn't challenge his rider.. the sooner this was over the better. Lowering himself, he helped Meiron climb onto his back, the cat gripping the fur on his neck, the bag securely tucked in; before the hybrid launched himself into the air, sending the snow scattering around them, the white stuff falling almost constantly nowadays, though it didn't get chance to lay, given the larger dragons that lived around the cenote.

On Havoc's back Meiron grinned, fully aware of what the dragon was trying to do, but made sure non of his humor leaked through their bond; let the drake think he'd won.... Meiron had only originally taken Havoc due to the 'stormy conditions' the others... well the same reason but also to wind up Havoc some more. The air was cold, the snow falling below them as the drake soared over the snow clouds, angling towards the distant volcano that started to appear on the horizon. The cat glanced at the roughly drawn map and directions, calculating the best way to reach the area.

Havoc narrowed his eyes as he descended, winding his way through the vast rock shards that stuck out, the snow covering then still, icicles dangling from the underside, making the more dangerous... but he was storm, and if some got too close then he just used his magic to shatter them. The darkness below swirled, broken only by the occasional spear of earth; now he knew why it said 'open cave', at one point it have been a cave, but the earth had shifted shattering the roof. Sensing the earth rather than seeing it, Havoc landed, his wings sending snow into flurries around them... just as something moved in the darkness, a slithering sound as red slitted eyes blinked at them suddenly, a forked tongue appearing for a moment as it tested the air.

Meiron climbed down, his movements slow as to not provoke the serpentine dragon that coiled in the darkness. it was not a friendly one, but yet it demanded tribute and respect, the notes this time had been specific. Trusting Havoc to behave, though he could feel the males tenseness, he kept his wings folded, he reached into bag to collect a few of the items that had been noted, A beautiful shell, a flower seed and an egg, and holding his palm out as an offering ti the non elemental dragon.

Havoc watched as the shape inched closer, darkness within darkness, fighting the urge to lash out especially when it opened its maw, gripping Meiron's hands completely, only his riders stern warning kept his talons held close. The next few moments were agonizing for the hybrid, his rider was in danger and he didn't dare help.... finally though the serpent released the bestia's hand, the items gone and slipped back into the darkness, the tribute accepted.

Gripping Meiron in his front talons, Havoc took off, easily surging through the snow as he took to the open skies, rumbling his displeasure, and ignoring his rider as Meiron spoke. "And here i thought you were starting to enjoy these little outings..." Came the cats amused mental comment. Wait until he told Sorcha....
