Tunderstorms

Kaminari had been running around his dorm for you. His little baby was scared of thunderstorms and he was taking every precaution. You had never mentioned it to him but he did notice over time.

You always covered your head with a blanket whenever a thunderstorm happened at UA. How could he not notice his lightning bug was scared? So whenever Kaminari saw a storm was coming he would prep his room to make sure you wouldn’t be scared.

He pulled up a movie and got out some headphones so you wouldn’t hear the thunder. You had a sippy cup in your lap while your caregiver close his curtains.

“Baby the thunder can’t get to you now, ok?” He whispered to you. His body was cuddled up to yours while you were focused on the movie.

Your eyes slowly closed, however, before you could Kaminari whispered, “I love you, lightning bolt.” You whispered it back before you finally fell asleep, ignoring the thunderstorm outside.
