Comments on Beacon in the Storm

I had to wait until I got onto my computer to comment, but this was just... too cute.

Love alone could not replace that sun, but if it could come even close, then he would give all that he had, and he would give it freely.
Because, after all, L would do the same for him. That was just the way love was.

I read up on LP and Slice's profiles before reading and just, the part where LP seemingly peeks out from under the blanket was just way too adorable when I pictured it in my head. You write so well, but I'm not surprised considering how much I enjoyed The Shadows That Run Alongside Our Car. I'm just murdered by Slice's very clear affection for L.P. even though he also feels inconvienced. Excuse me while I crawl into a hole and cry over it.

I love these two boys a lot, and I care a lot about about showing characters in healthy, supportive relationships, especially ones who are as different as this pair! I actually have a ton more background written up about them as trivia points, which I probably ought to link to their profiles at some point, haha.
