Mystery Squad

It was a bright morning in the city of Cephalo. The sun was only beginning to rise over the tall buildings that were blanketed with icy white snow. It was at least 7:00 in the morning, and it was the weekend. Most of the squids were still nestled in their beds, sleeping their weekend away. Well, except for one squid.

Sushi looked up at the rising sun from the giant bridge she tried jumping off of over 10 months ago. A scarlet red scarf covered her cold flush cheeks. Even though she was a glacial squid, some would think that the cold never bothered her in anyway. The true fact of that was she liked warm clothes, no matter how brutal the weather was outside. Sushi loved early mornings, since it gave her a time to reflect on life... well, the life she so little remembered. Amnesia was like a blessing and a curse, there was no in between. All she knew was that whatever caused her to wake up on the streets here was not an accident... but what was it? What type of cruel or joyful life did she once live? Could there be someone out there who cared for her, and maybe still searching for her? Maybe she would never know.... or so she thought.

The orange head makes her way through the city, rubbing her uncovered hands and blowing into them for warmth. She needs some new mittens or something. Probably a new coat too to replace the tattered one she's owned for quite some years.
But still being rather new at Cephalo, she was walking this way and that all morning in search for such a store. Victoria finally made her way to the bridge- just for a little break, and an excuse to look out at the scenery.
Walking ahead, she spotted the red-scarfed inkling and picked up the pace. Finally, she might get some directions!
"Hey!" Torch jogged to the new face... tripping over her feet, making her stumble to a stop and almost hitting her.
"Ahah.. sorry. Say would you happen to know your way around these parts?" She takes a step back, "kiiiiinda looking for a new coat and gloves see, but I don't know the stores well enough!"

Sushi heard the sound of someone running towards her. Out of instinct, she spun around and picked up a ball of snow. When she saw the orange inkling stumbling towards her, she sighed with relief. It wasn't Tad trying to use a pathetic sneak attack on  her.
"Oh... you're looking for a store that sells jackets?" Sushi asked, smiling brightly. She dropped the snowball. "Sorry, I keep thinking a friend is trying to get an advantage in the snow by planning a sneak attack!"

Torch's eyes grew wide from hearing the possible attack. No way would she do that to someone she's never met before!
It wouldn't stop her from taking the possibility of a fun snowball fight though.
"No way! Well, if you'll show me the way to a store like that, I promise to watch your back~"
wink!

Tad wandered along the streets of Cephalo City, he was wrapped like a burrito in the perfect orange parka, a black scarf pulled up over his nose and reflective aviator glasses poking through, he was one cool dude.  especially with his black shorts and ridiculous christmas tiights… even though they were so cool, he wished he had worn snow pants.
he came up behind Sushi, HE OVERHEARD THE LAST BIT OF THE CONVERSATION, he panicked- HE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF DOING THAT, THAT WOULD BE SO SQUINKY!! he looked around wildly for something to ambush with but leaned down and grabbed a handful of snow instead “HIYAH!” he threw it toward Sushi, and it fell apart in the air.

Sushi felt small snow particles hit the back of her tentacles while listening to Torches response. She turned around, a wide smile appeared on her face as she readied her pre-made snowball. She then started to run forwards Tad, holding her snowball up.
"I GOT YOU TAD-" Sushi then slipped on ice and fell flat on her face. Good job Sushi, you get a gold star for the day.

Victoria cautiously walks up to the fallen inkling, "uh.. are you okay? I can't exactly protect you from your own snowy attacks you know."

Sushi looked up at Victoria, smiling happily. A small scratch appeared on her face from the fall.
"No no, you're fine. This has been going on for... weeks now." Sushi said, wiping snow off her nose. She looked at her snowball and sighed, she had to let it go.

Tad lifted one of his arms over his head and ducked- the best defensive maneuver.  he used his other hand to try and pack together a quick snowball, meanwhile yelling “I WASN’T PREPAREEEDD!!” as Sushi came towards him.
As she fell on her face, he quickly used his other hand to pack together and trotted over to Sushi, holding the snowball behind his back “Oh, you’re hurt??” Tad asked, noticing the scratch on her face, he leaned forward, feigning a concerned look and then attempting to shove the snow in her face “PUT SOME ICE ON IT!!!!”

Torch helped Sushi up, lightly patting away any snow on her. She had a calm smile hearing the other inkling concerned for his friend... which quickly turned into shock when she heard the words.
As Tad attempted to shove the snow, Torch had knocked up his arm enough for the snowball to be released into the air.
"Nice try, buddy. But I don't think that's the way to he-aeH,"
The snowball landed on her head instead. GG Torch.

Sushi felt herself get picked up by Torch, a smile appearing on her face.
"Oh! Thank you!" She looked back at Tad, she began to snicker. "That's what you get for trying to sneak up on me!" She laughed.

Tad slapped his hands over his mouth “OOOHH!” he said in a muffled voice, then he pulled down his hood and took off his sunglasses “Dude, I was so close but” he motioned to torch  “your crazy insect reflexes beat me.” he threw his hands in the air “WHAT?? WHAT IS THAT? I want you to be on my team!” he sighed.

Torch had taken off her hat to bat off the snow, she scratches her head bashfully as she heard Tad exclaiming about what had happened. "aheh.. kinda learned that through my years of turf.." She places her hat back on and peers over Sushi, confirming for herself that there was a small scratch. "Does it hurt at all?"

Sushi rubbed the small cut on her face. She smiled weakly.
"No no, I'm fine." She then walked over to Tad, she had a serious look on her face. She then tackled him into the snow in a tackle hug. No words were exchanged from her.

"aaaaAAAHH!" Tad tried to scramble away after he hit the snow but was trapped in a hug, he grabbed a handful of snow and thought about shoving it down Sushi's coat but he dropped it dramatically and then hugged her back.  "You win this battle! I WILL NOT FORGET THIS NEW MOVE- THE HUG OF DEATH!"

"THE HUG OF DEATH CONQUERS ALL!" Sushi chanted, hugging Tad tightly. To anyone who passed by, this would have looked super weird. Sushi didn't care at all.

Victoria stood quietly to the side, breathing into her hands again to keep warm. She didn't want to interrupt this picture of friendship.

Tad patted Sushi’s back, he glanced over at Torch…he reached down into his pocket and pulled out a small foil packet, which was quite a struggle, and then he tried to squiggle out of Sushi’s death hug, holding the packet towards Torch.  “Sushi you have to let GO YOU’RE GOING TO KILL ME!” he stuck a gloved finger up her nose to prove a point of something I have no idea I’m just the narrator

Torch took notice of the yellow inkling trying to pass her something. But before she could bend down some to reach for it he had... he had stuffed his finger up Sushi's nose.
All's she could do was kind of freeze, watching the absurdity
⊙﹏⊙"

Sushi felt the two fingers go up her nose, leaving a shiver run down her spine.
"Please get your fingers out of my nose Tad, before I break them off." Sushi commented, holding her posture still. "I'll get off of you if you do."

Tad pulled his fingers out of her nose “Aha! it worked!” he triumphantly smiled “THE KEY TO FIGHTING IS TO DO SOMETHING UNEXPECTED…” he explained in an arrogant tone, waiting for Sushi to get off, he threw the foil packet up towards Torch. “It’s a hand warmer! merry Squidmas!”

Torch scrambled to catch the package like a cat trying to grab at a piece of string. Finally having caught it, she smiled brightly hearing what it was, "Wow really! Gee, thanks!!" Immediately she tore open the foil to reveal the very warm looking handwarmer and slid her own hands through it.
She sighed out with a very content face, "aaaaaah.... so toasty...."

Sushi stood up, holding her hand out towards Tad.
"Need a hand?" Sushi asked.

Tad grabbed Sushi's hand to help himself up,  "It's cool, I like them too... I once gave some to a homeless squid and told him to sit on them to keep his butt warm, he laughed but I was serious."

Sushi nodded and looked over at Victoria, she smiled brightly.
"Sorry about watching us brawl like that. You could think we look like some popular video game little squirts play competitively." She giggled. She then looked at Victoria up and down, her cheeks blushing slightly blue. "Oh my goodness! Are you cold?! Ah! I'm SOOOOOOOOO SORRY THAT WE DISTRACTED YOU FROM FINDING WARMTH!!!!!" Sushi then placed her hands on Victoria's shoulders. "DON'T DIE! I'LL SAVE YOU! TAD, DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE OF THOSE HAND WARMER THINGIES?!" Sushi screeched while shaking Victoria.

Victoria put her hands up in a retreat kind of way, trying to talk and reassure Sushi that it was okay, but only managing to get out a few cut words as she spoke, "no it- real- er-"
Next thing she knew she was being shaken dizzy! "ReEEALllYyy iIIitS FiIiIIIinnnNeEe"

"NO IT'S NOT! IT'S MY FAULT! MY LADY I OWE YOU MY LIFE FOR SAVING ME FROM THE ENEMY! I WILL FIND YOU WARMTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!" Sushi cried out. An idea then popped into her head. "I don't remember anything about my past, but that doesn't mean I can't save you!" She then got on one knee. "My sweet princess! When it rains, you put on a coat! A NICE COAT!"

Tad laughed at Sushi's funny business, playing along he reached into his coat pockets, moving to Sushi and bowing low as he could,  handing the foil hand warmers towards her with a fabulous flick of his wrist "HERE YOU ARE, TAKE THESE THE WARMERS OF THING GRABBERS AND WARM THY MAIDEN!  I CANNOT BARE TO SEE SUCH GRIEF, even if coming from my sworn enemy!"

Victoria staggered back a little from being let go and shook her head some. And then suddenly the inkling was kneeling before her????
And the other was presenting another hand warmer to give???
She just stood there for several seconds, flabbergasted, to just suddenly let out a laugh!
"SNRRRRRRK Okay you two are hilarious!" Torch nearly doubled over from their little act.

"MY SWEET TAD! I THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN! YOU MAY BE THE ENEMY, BUT OUR FRIENDSHIP BURNS HOT LIKE 1 MILLION WHITE SUNS!" Sushi then stood up and brushed her knees off. She pulled out her phone. "I wasn't kidding about that memory stuff. I can't remember a single thing where I came from."

Tad put his hands over his heart, “Our complicated friendship.” he sighed.  he smiled when Torch called them hilarious and snorted, breaking character “Yeah, don’t you feel compelled to help her? I do- look at her… falling for an old finger in nose trick.” he shook his head and made a fake disgusted face.

Sushi rolled her eyes. "Oh hush Taddy Waddy. You always love to play dirty." She snickered. "Oh woe is me, my memories! Whatever shall I do?!" Sushi placed a hand on her forehead, acting like she was going to faint. She had a sarcastic tone to her voice.

After recovering from the laughter, she tilted her head, looking to Sushi. "Are you really not that worried? Memory loss is a pretty big deal..."

"Well- I haven't ever seen her that upset about it.  Y'know- we've been planning on going on a hunt to find the answer, but we had to wait for our trench coats to get here..." Tad extended his hand to Torch, making sure it was the hand that hadn't shoved fingers up Sushi's nose "I'm Tad, short for my full name.. Taddy waddy."

That cracked another smile, "Heh, name's Victoria." She takes Tad's hand and gives it a shake, "But Torch is fine too."
Upon letting it go, she stuffed her hand back into the warmer.
"Well.. if you guys are serious about finding some leads to your memory, I'd love to help you out.. um..." oops she doesn't know the blue squid's name.

Sushi nodded.
"Well greetings Torch! I'm Wasabi Sushi!" She then bowed respectfully. "It is a pleasure to meet you."

Tad raised his eyebrows, he smiled a bright excited smile "Really? you want to help?" he looked over at Sushi briefly to see if she thought it was so COOL "IT MIGHT BE DANGEROUS." Tad warned "I mean- we don't know, Sushi could be a wanted criminal."

Torch smiled and nodded at Sushi, "Likewise! And hey, it's different from my usual activities so I don't see why not." She gives a small shrug, trying to seem chill about it.

Sushi nodded and smiled.
"Thank you both, I really appreciate it!" She then looked over at Tad and elbowed him. "I don't think I'm that dangerous. Sure, I may be savage on the battlefield, but that doesn't mean I was a criminal way back when." She then paused. "I think I may have a tattoo!"

Tad smiled wide, he shrugged "We'll see, we'll see.." he joked, he then blinked a few times and tilted his head, "wait.." he said "A TATTOO?? WHERE? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY 'THINK'?" there were so many questions.

Sushi nodded.
"Yeah... I think it's on my lower back?" Sushi shrugged. "Can someone help me check?"

She hesitated a bit, "uh... I can if you'd like but.. out here? now??"

Sushi nodded and turned her back towards Torch. She lifted the back of her shirt slightly. On the right side of her lower back was a small crescent moon tattoo. It was beautiful and well drawn.
"Is there something back there?" Sushi asked.

Tad leaned over to check, too. "No..." he told Sushi and folded his arms, he tsked "I think it's a weird birth mark."

"Birthmark? That's weird." Sushi replied, crossing her arms.

"Uh.. I don't think birthmarks can be that detailed... But looks like you have a tribal looking moon tatto, Sushi!" Torch  leans back with a grin.

"Woah! That's cool! It's weird because I can never see behind myself, you know?" Sushi cheered, bouncing up and down.

Tad laughed when Torch corrected him, "Oh, I've got an idea- Sushi.." he pulled out his shellphone, "Hold still, I'll take a picture for you!!" he pulled off his glove so he could use the touch screen

Torch clasps her hands together with the hand warmer "brilliant idea, Tad!"

Sushi's cheeks turned bright blue. This reminder her of another recent time with a familiar squid. A super tall, blue inked, tan (not), and handsome one to be exact.
"Heh... I hope you're not going to send that to anyone... if I haven't seen it, I'm pretty sure no other squid has seen it... or at least from what I remember." Sushi stuttered nervously.

Tad snapped a picture and handed the phone over to Sushi "Haha, yes.. I am brilliant... well you can just delete it if you want." he snickered "You know.." he blinked in realization "If we took it too some tattoo shops, we MIGHT be able to find the tattoo artist." he clapped his hands together and bent his knees, "IT COULD BE OUR FIRST CLUE!!" He yelled

Sushi nodded as she stared at the photo. Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at the perfect details. When did she get this? Who did she get this with? Why oh why did she get this?! All of it was a mystery to her, but looking for the tattoo artist was a good start. It was a pretty moon after all. Maybe it was a symbol for something?
"YEAH! LET'S GO FIND SOME TATTOO PARLORS- WAIT!" Sushi yelled. "If we're going to be searching for clues, then we're going to need matching jackets and a cool name." She gasped. "WE COULD BE A CLUB!"

Victoria nodded along with the discussion. That tattoo, and taking it to different parlors, that would be a great lead! If anything, it'd tip off any other clues they could take into account and- club?
She amusingly puts a hand to her chin, "A club, huh? I guess if it means I can get a new jacket, I'm all for it haha!"

Sushi nodded and pounded her fist into her hand.
" YES! " She then looked over at Tad. "What do you think?"

Tad put his hands over his face and paused, "I'M OVERCOME BY EMOTION--" he raised his hands, palms up towards the sky, he wavered his voice over dramatically "I can't believe this is happening to me.." he placed his hands over his heart and closed his eyes nodding slowly he wiped a pretend tear from his eye, putting one hand on Sushi's shoulder, and one on Torch's. "Yes, yes I do. I will.  Join your club."

Sushi cheered and jumped up and down.
"YAY! THIS IS AWESOME! Oh my cod, we can go solve mysteries, bust mafias, splat gangs, WE'LL BE AMAZING!"

Torch got increasingly more worried as Sushi went down the list. "H-how about we just start small with this mystery first?"

Sushi nodded.
"I mean, yeah of course. But we need a club name!"

"THERE ARE TOO MANY POSSIBILITIES..." Tad tapped his finger against his chin in thought "SUSHI'S TEA PARTY..because... our names start with T." Tad laughed at his own super clever and funny group name

Not wanting to burst his bubble, Victoria just smiled and nodded, "Can't argue with that logic!"

Sushi nodded.
"Hm.... I like the sound of that. We're like a mystery squad!" She cheered.

Tad snorted, his first idea was apparently a good one, which is not usual, "Really? OK." he laughed, "Yeah, we just need to get the right LOOK, and then it will be for real.  We have to take ourselves SERIOUSLY OR NO ONE ELSE WILL." he explained, slipping his phone back into his pocket,

Sushi stood boldly, placing black shades on her eyes. The sunlight hit her in the right spot, making her look 20% cooler.
"YOU'RE RIGHT TAD! WE DO NEED A LOOK!" Sushi yelled.

Tad reached out and grabbed one of Sushi's arms and one of Torch's "WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR LETS GOOOOO LADIES PICK IT UP." he pulled them both forwards towards the Cephalo City mall.

Sushi nodded, being dragged along. She finally got Tad's pace down and raced with him.
"ADVENTURE TIME!!!" She chanted.

Torch stumbled a bit as she was pulled along, "A-ah, well, alright then!" She fell into step with the two, "New looks here we come!"

Sushi grinned as the two ran towards the mall. She felt so free, it was like she could sing a Disney musical number. Actually, she was up for that. Sushi then ran through a small grass field, the wind rushing through her tentacles. She placed her hands on her chest.
"I want adventure in the great wife somewhere! I want it more than I can tell...." she sang out, basking in the bright sunrise.

Tad looked over his shoulder to see why Sushi and was so amazed by the song that he tripped and fell on his face, it was a good thing they weren't that far from the mall because theres only so many times you can trip and fall on your face before it becomes dead.

Torch looked amusingly at Sushi as she frolicked and sang. She felt like she's seen this somewhere before. Perhaps in a movie somewhere.. what if Sushi was an actress??
And then Tad took torch's role and fell right on his face. She inched closer wearing a concerned look, "um.. you okay??"

Sushi looked back at the two, the birds fluttering behind her into the sunrise. She spotted Tad face planted on the ground, the perfect image she didn't mean to create faded. She sprinted over to Tad, sliding next to Torch.
"Did you push him?!" Sushi asked Torch.

Torch blinked in surprise, and held her hands up to her chest speaking earnestly, "what? of course not! He just sort of... fell." She begins trying to help Tad up, "why would I.. nnn.. even do that??"

Tad pulled himself up, grabbing on to Torch's arm.  "I think thou doth protest to much...are you sUREEE??" he cackled towards Torch, he then skipped a step backwards, and flexed "We'll have to duel it out later, in the battlefield." he motioned across the land dramatically "You DO go to turf wars, right?" he continued walking backwards towards the mall as he spoke, raising his eyebrows questioningly

She regained her balance after he used her arm, and stuffed her hands in her pockets. Hearing the question, she blinked, seemingly more interested on the topic. "Uh, um yeah I do. Well, not as much as I did at home since I moved here. But I've had my fair share of wars," she followed along once more.

"Your two can YuGiOh duel!" Sushi cheered.

Tad's face brightened at Sushi's suggestion, "THAT!!" he pointed towards her "IS a genius idea. that is how we should duel-" he turned around to keep walking.  and then realized what Torch had said "Oh, you just moved here? Wait- did you say that earlier? I don't think so- what do you think of CEPHALOOOOO and its glorious residents?"

Her eyes widened a bit, "Er.. yugioh? I've never actually played card games aside from blackjack and spit and the like eheh.. But uh.. yeah I just moved here not so long ago from Inkopolis. The city seems pretty nice so far! Wish I wouldn't get so lost though haheh.."

"You know, you reminded me of a squid named Maya. She's great if you ever want to get lost!" Sushi cheered, skipping ahead of the group. What a princess... that what someone she somewhat cared about called her.

"Everyones always getting lost here!" Tad gasped, spinning around to walk backwards again, "I have been developing my own map of cephalo based entirely on symbols I leave in different alley ways.  like a hobo code, but more confusing." Tad explained as he opened the door to the mall and stepped inside. AH THE MALL!!! A TEENAGERS PARADISE!!

Sushi's eyes glittered when the mall door opened. She loved shopping, but then a thought crossed her mind.
"Tad... I think our gang name has a tiny problem."

"What's that?...is it that we don't have guns?" Tad asked, stopping just inside to turn and watch Sushi and Torch catch up

"No... STP is... well, it's close to spelling STD." Sushi replied, catching up to Tad.

Torch caught up to the duo and her eyes went wide with surprise, "oh you're right... we might need to come up with a different name..." she walked ahead of them, looking at the stores around them and just in thought. "Or just a different acronym.."

"ahhh it would be so easy to vandalize.." Tad tilted his head "A different acronym? HOW??" he looked to Torch, "I DONT WANT TO BE KNOWN AS AN STD!" he said probably too loudly

Quickly the orange inkling spun around and put a finger to her lips, "sHH!! Don't yell it!!"

Sushi nodded, waving her arms around in the air. It was good that Torch shushed him, she didn't want the rest of the world to hear about their scheme. It was time to think of a solution.
"Hm... How about Sparkly Ink or... Team Ink? Idk..."

Tad cackled at the others panic, as they made their way to the clothing place "or Muffins Must Die." he suggested, since muffins of course, sucked... "Except Chocolate Chip." he added, "They Can Live."

"Maybe we could be called Painting The Turf? Nah... that's too silly." Sushi commented, trying to think of more group names.

"What kind of ridiculous name would that be?" Tad snorted, "You know, Sparkly Inc would work and actually be pretty cool, we spell it like I-N-C... and its like a company, Sparkly Incorporated."

"I like that!" Sushi cheered, flipping one of her sparkly light blue tentacles. It was nice to have a mom who was a firefly squid and a dad who was a glacial squid. It meant she was different.

Victoria listened to them as they went back and forth with ideas, nodding along. She grinned hearing the last idea along with Sushi's exclamation. "Hey yeah that sounds pretty good!" She paused for a second, "But... we don't all have to have that glitter do we?" She had no idea how they would get their ink as sparkly as Sushi's.

Tad stopped to consider it seriously, sucking his teeth as he walked into the clothing store "No.... no, because I don't want to have to explain to my mother where the sparkles came from."  he thought it would be weird, he didn't even know how you got sparkles anyways.  eating glitter? who knows, maybe its something to do with glitter make up.

Sushi laughed.
"Oh no no, you guys don't have to get sparkles. The only way I remember how to get sparkly ink is through genetics..." Sushi then paused, placing her hand on her forehead. "Remember..." she echoed, the words seeming foreign to her. Her rose hued eyes widened as a giant smile appeared on her face. "HEY! I REMEMBERED SOMETHING!" Sushi cheered, bouncing around in circles.

Torch had spied some accessories, ready to make a bee like to it to get some warm mittens or gloves until she heard Sushi exclaim. "Oh? Oh!" She spun around to face the blue squid, "what is it??"

Sushi stopped bouncing. placing her finger on her chin.
"The word genetics for some reason is triggering a memory in my brain... I can't describe it. It reminded me of... my mother, who homeschooled me!"

Tad turned to Sushi and smiled wide, excited by her elATION, and then glanced at Torch, and looked back to Sushi again,  "Thats funny I didn't ever think you seemed like a homeschooled squid." he said absently.  "THOUGH REALLY I DON'T KNOW WHAT ONE LOOKS LIKE EVEN. are they that weird? I don't know- did you get to go to school in pyjamas? do you remember that? does it hurt? did it hurt? as in, to remember? does it feel like a dream? how are you sure?" Tad tilted his head curiously "Was your mother like you? was it only your mother? what was she wearing? is it in sepia tone?"

Torch had grown a big smile, happy to hear that Sushi was beginning to regain some bits of memory, "Wow well there's someth-" She was cut off by Tad's bulleting questions. She tried to jump back in but the questions just. Kept. GOING.
Finally she had heard the end of it, and took that opportunity to give her own comment, "well we have a little lead now huh? but to what.."

Sushi paused, trying to take in all of the questions.
"What...?" She whispered, placing a hand on her head. The questions started to overwhelm her slightly, but she decided to shake it off like some over played pop song.
"I guess we do have a lead." Sushi replied to Torch.

Tad shrugged, pulling a kazoo out of his pocket and playing a WaaOOO WaOOOO NOISE, "I thought it would help to ask a hundred questions... did you ever consider just making up your own history? you could be anyone you want!" he said, playing the kazoo again for a second before adding "course then you might be considered insane." he walked over to a rack of colourful shirts and started flipping through them absently, he knows how to LOOK like he's shopping

"Well maybe something she makes up will trigger another memory?" Torch made her way to the coats nearby. They looked warm heeheeeee. "So you were homeschooled... anything about your instructor or where you were come to mind?"

"Well... let me think..." Sushi replied. She tried digging through her thought, trying to piece any fragmented memories that were scattered in her mind. A thought then struck her.
"I think... my grandma was the one who taught me everything."

"Was she an old grandma or like, a young hip one?" Tad asked, as he pulled shirts off their hangers and pulled them on one after the other to create a giant Tad marshmallow

Sushi stared at Marshmallow Tad, mildly snickering.
"I prefer a Tad Dolphin. I think she was a badass ancient one, but I don't remember clearly."

"Oh man, like, wrinkles for days but could kick anyones butt if they dared touch the cake before it was ready?" Tad asked as he tried to force another shirt over all the ones he was wearing he's just going to get kicked out

Victoria came to them already wearing a coat, y'know, just trying it on. She poked the Tadmallow, "The employees are already staring at us." She poked Tad again.

"I know!" Tad chimed as he stuck his arms through what looked to be the last shirt he was going to shove on "Alright now, push me over I want to see if this will block out the pain." he stood with his arms out stretched and turned to torch, with a big grin.

She made a big X with her arms, "Nope, Im not doing it. Even if they turn around, I bet there are cameras here and you might knock something down, SO" she promptly turned around, but there was a random inkling there. "Oh!" Pretty spooped I'd say, Torch backed up right into Tad, "ACK!"

Sushi was kinda... well, lost in thought. All she could do was stare at the pretty Hawaiian shirts on the racks next to the black leather jackets. Her eyes seemed glossy, like she was being hypnotized.
"So pretty..." she whispered to herself.

Author's Notes

rip, not finished.

And this, was, 2016. but the only 2016 so it's being stuffed in the 2017 diary
