Summary

Back when she still lived on the island  with her dad, society was still  moderate with technology. Think around  2012, where tech is plentiful but  not as kosher and advanced as  hover-boards and the like as it is 50  years into the future.

Fang and her dad would sometimes go and   visit society outside of the island, not too frequently, mostly during   festivals and other large gatherings where neither would have to worry   too hard about catching attention while out in the open.

MKing  did often leave the island to go  take care of business outside of the  place whenever he had to, leaving  Fang with just the monkey’s to keep  watch over her. Her two main  caretakers named Tete and Mochi. As well as her own little gang of goofs named Mimi, Tuff, and Yun. She also treasured a little stuffed plush  given to her by her dad which was named  ‘Minikong’.

Other than that he would try his best to  teach her  his ways. But from her personality she was never one to adapt  to his  lifestyle of Buddhism. Even so Wukong continued to train her in hopes of helping her realize her potential of becoming his successor in the future. However as time wore on, both began to grow distant until she reached the age of 20. MKing didn't press Fang as hard as he  did in the beginning of her  training, but after a while he realized if  she was to become the  successor he deemed worthy, he would have to buckle down. Eventually Fang breaks down,  admitting that she doesn't want to  be his successor if they're going to  be like this for the rest of their  lives. Claiming that she just  wanted to become someone he could be proud of. MKing claims that she  doesn't need to become his successor for him to be proud of her. And finally gives her the decision to pace her training herself so that the choice would remain up to her of whether or not she'd want to become his successor.

Around her 100th birthday her father gave her the chance to eat her first peach of immortality. Upon having some business in Heaven prior to an old acquaintance, he sneaks Fang in and gives her the mission to steal a peach for herself. She manages to do so without getting caught, and despite having grown tired of peaches at that point, enjoyed this one for what it was worth.

This was probably around when she  began sneaking off the island to  go visit the city on her own. Where she met Hun Ho, and became sworn sisters with her. Fang  begged her father to help her when it was apparent her spirit was too  weak to live on. Wukong granted her the title as a shrine spirit, tying  her to his shrine and letting his right hand take care of her. Her and  Fang are very close, despite Hunny getting on her nerves all too often,  just as all siblings do.

Fang learned all  kinds of neat things about the outside  world. Her dad was against it of  course, jeopardizing her safety like  that. But she grew fond of all the strange and unique things the world around her had to offer. And once her 120th birthday came around, she began to think more about her future altogether. Wondering of whether or not she should take on her father's role as protector of the city when she wanted to travel and explore.

Her and her dad got a lil distant around then, Wukong's excuse being that he  couldn't  find it in himself to put Fang in such high standards while  still seeing  her as his precious sweetpeach. She looked towards the  internet more  for guidance and friends around then.

Eventually at around 150 she got around to asking  him if she could  leave the island. He was wholeheartedly against it, not  wanting to be  alone but also because she wasn’t as strong as him or as  experienced in  the world. (He blames himself a lil for that.)

But  he makes a deal with her, in that if she can complete her final  lesson  and learn how to properly harness her Chi, he’d let her leave.  On the  condition that she promise to keep her identity a secret so no  harm  would come to her or whomever she met.

They agree to the terms,  though partially through her training  Macaque sneaks in and tries to  trap her dad in a demon prison while  attempting to kidnap her. But she  manages to reach into herself and  bring forth her power to fight back,  enough to break the demon prison  and scare Macaque off.

After that she eventually leaves the island on her 200th birthday, having proved she could take care of herself.
