Rage vs Rage

Carefully making their way inside they come to realize that the place  is  guarded, and after sneaking in through the air vent on the rooftop,   they realize why. As a strange machine containing one of the crystal's   which Moth points out is one of the same one's from the valley that   which power's the groves source of magical energy. Both Fang and Moth   sneak down to investigate further while Jun and Yu stay in the vent to   scope out the scene.

Upon gathering some tools for Moth, he  request a distraction in  order to buy him enough time to shut down the  machine and snag the gem  back. Fang sends Jun a msg over text, prompting  him to let the moths  that are outside, in. It isn't until they're  waiting for their  distraction does she takes notice in one of the  strangers rambling on  in the facility near the machine does she realize  that they happen to  be Red Son. Who outright blurts out his plan to use  the power of the  moon to power the crystal which in turn would be used  to power the same  gauntlet he would use to free DBK.

Moth ends up  getting electrocuted upon attempting to disassemble the  machine, and Yu  Lai decides that they want to help, while Jun is more  on the defensive  in staying back like Fang said. A bit of wrestling  causes the vent  they're in to collapse, when in turn gathers the entire  room's attention onto them.

Fang blows her hiding spot in order  to cause enough distraction for Jun and Yu to get out of harms way as  Red Son orders his bull clones to dispose of them. Teaming up with Jun,  Fang sends Yu to go help Moth while they take on the onslaught. And  after taking the hint that the group isn't just a random gang of anime  cosplayers, Red Son steps up to take on Fang. Noting suspiciously of her  very unique fighting style which only prompts him to further go after  her as they fight.

Thankfully the fight is put on pause as the  lights go out, thanks to Yu Lai for unplugging the machine funnily  enough. Moth snags both her and the crystal and haul ass out one of the  front windows, where Moth takes a rather nasty tear to the wing,  grounding him indefinitely for the time being. Fang orders a retreat and  as both attempt to make their escape, Red Son grabs Fang and wrestles  her to the ground, demanding to know who she is and why her fighting  style is reminiscent to that of the Monkey King's. To the point he  outright claims her at being his protege.

Her excuse for being so  weak willed in her fight against him stems back to the sliver of a  story her father once told her, in both him and DBK at one point having  been sworn brothers. And it had at one point given her hope that she  could have a bigger family through easing the severed ties back  together. Unfortunately for her, Red Son knew nothing of her as she did  him, and from that his rage only multiplied at her familiarity to Monkey  King.

Amidst his rage, he fails to notice Jun sneaking up behind  him, and manages to get himself entangled with Jun. Who had grown  furious at watching Red Son hurt Fang so terribly, to the point he was  willing to fight his fear of fire in order to save her. Sadly Red Son  manages to get the twist on him, and locks him into a grip where he  threatens his life if Fang didn't tell him who she really was.

This  only sparks a fiery rage in response to seeing her friend's life placed  in such jeopardy, prompting her to summon her Chi move, Knuckle  Busters, in an attempt to take Red Son down. It works partially, as out  of surprise he drops Jun in order to defend himself again Fang.

However  as the two get into a heated battle, Fang's fury causes her identity to  become undone, as her hood gets snagged, exposing her face to the  world. And as she is about to go too far with the fight, Red Son catches  her off guard with noting her having daddy issues with the Monkey King.  Only to use her sudden surprise to burn her arm that which she'd been  using to keep him down. And manages to escape from the fight.

Leaving a very broken group to pick themselves up.
