───Where it all started (and probably where it's all going to end, too). If you weren't following Azu and Vince on Artfight in the summer of 2022... sorry. You just had to be there. From the ashes of the original #chaintheory (153 images plus free DLC) rose the rest of our sona alts and the most married-divorced red-blue black-white gay couple in the entire world. God bless and amen. O7───

VOCALOID

テレキャスタービーボーイ

TELECASTER B-BOY

───07: Azu and 07: Vince were produced as a pair of androids, which hop around from world to world in order to mimic the music and vocal styles of every dimension they come across. They take on and act out any story that they're placed in, occasionally changing their own appearance through the installation of mechanical "modules" that let them fit their setting more accurately. Nevertheless, they still maintain their primary colors and their identity as a pair -- irregardless of whether or not they have to share the role of the main singer on stage.

STARDEW VALLEY

───Azu, Vince, and their ever-present cat Cashew seemingly appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Pelican Town, claiming to be the rightful heirs of the farm that had been so recently vacated by its former occupants. Ever since moving in, the two of them have made the Valley grow and change in unprecedented ways -- improving the Community Center, chasing out Joja, and providing the Town with a steady stream of high-quality fruits, vegetables, and produce. The time they spent together on the farm and in the mines built up to a strong romantic relationship -- which would culminate in a marriage that, in theory, the Town should've been celebrating as a testament to their permanence in the Valley and the love that can blossom out of hard work. The issue is, of course, that nothing about what these two farmers seem to do seems... natural, in any sense of the word. What is with those black rubber gloves they're always wearing, and why do none of their tools seem to be free from those splotches of red... rust? Why can't the other townspeople ever seem to see Vince's eyes, and why do Azu's teeth seem so much sharper than normal? Why do the two of them show so little interest in anything besides each other, sometimes even talking to the air like they expect the other to respond?Sure, Pelican Town feels more vibrant and lively than ever -- and it's good that the old farm isn't left untilled and unoccupied. Still, though, the townsfolk sure wish that literally anybody else had come to take it over instead.

  • The two of them are actually a pair of demons that got banished to Earth to serve a "temporary" sentence for how infuriating they were in hell. They're starting to like it up here, though!

  • Keep a Midnight Carp named "Ren" (from the synths Rin/Len) and a black/white cat named "Cashew" (because it sounds like the word "cat") as pets.

  • Seem to be able to communicate with each other from incredibly far distances; in reality, their Ancient Doll/Strange Doll acts as a... magical "telephone" that the two of them can speak and hear each other through.

  • Azu was the one who sewed Vince's coat, while Vince gave his original waistcoat to Azu.

  • Proposed to each other on Summer 12 in the middle of the night, while it was raining, as both of them were stumbling home exhausted from a full day in the mines. Got married on Summer 16. Forced the entire town to come to their marriage ceremony.

  • The Luau every summer never goes well, primarily because both of them can't stop putting the worst possible ingredients into the soup.

  • Azu continually threatens divorce because Vince won the first Bunny Day contest they had together and then let Azu win the second year.

SPLATOON

───While Azu hails from the urban environment of Inkopolis, Vince has always lived in the deserts of the Splatlands; the Chaos vs. Order Splatfest that invigorated the Splatlands would eventually bring both of them to the young city of Splatsville in the hopes of making a name for themselves in the growing metropolis. Living here, of course, required money -- and the quickest way that both of them managed to make it was through signing up for regular GrizzCo. shifts, no matter how stressful these Salmon Runs ended up being. They met while playing cooldown Turf War matches after GrizzCo. hours had ended, both of them trying -- and failing -- to work off some of the tension that had been caused by their jobs. Their first match together, they couldn't stop arguing; their second match together, their argument had transformed into teasing and taunting; and by the end of the night, they'd agreed to meet each other again in the Lobby every night after their work had ended. Soon enough, they started signing up for regular GrizzCo. shifts together, rapidly becoming an inseparable pair under the name of "Ocean's Seven" -- whether they're participating in Salmon Runs, matching Splatfest teams, or (still failing) to calm themselves down during Turf War matches.Azu serves as the "older mentor" of the duo, introducing Vince to the various amenities of the city and of Inkling/Octoling culture that Vince isn't as familiar with due to his long period spent roaming the Splatlands. While the two of them still get into regular arguments about "who's working harder" or "who played better," it's all out of good fun. The two of them seem to spend longer than anyone else getting ready for their Salmon Run shifts or leaving the locker rooms after their Turf War rounds, though -- and on occasion, you'll even see them walking around embarrassedly with purple mouths and even purple fingers, at that. What are they doing in the Lobby so late, anyway?

POKEMON

"After all this, if you're still brave enough to come crawling into our Gym..."

"...We'll give you a battle that'll haunt you for eternity."

ATROSCENCE TOWN is a town of spirits, insects, and the undead. While it was formerly a thriving town that housed the seventh gym, a lively marketplace, and a highly-regarded Pokemon conservatory and university, it would be quickly abandoned when people realized just how close to the fabric of reality the town truly lay. Built above the ruins of ancient Giratina worship grounds, Atroscence lies at the border between the material realm, the Distortion World, and Ultra Space. As the people fled, however, two trainers would stay behind, taking over the newly-vacated responsibility of Gym Leader. Few challengers make it as far as Atroscence Town, and even fewer are willing to brave the haunted atmosphere in order to actually find the pair of new Leaders in the abandoned village -- meaning that Azu and Vince have plenty of time to pursue their real goals within the bowels of the ruins that lie beneath the earth...

OVERVIEW

Upon entering Atroscence Town, the player or challenger is immediately welcomed by the feeling of being watched; if paying attention, they might notice the movement of shadows through the undergrowth or the occasional flash of red through the fog that seems to lay unnaturally-heavy over the entire city. Odd howls with no origin constantly echo within the buildings, and large Bug-type Pokemon are constantly skittering around.Wild Pokemon can be encountered in the tall grass of the area. Towards the west of the area, a small dock and lake can be found which can be both surfed upon and fished in. A graveyard towards the east can be seen and even briefly entered, but the player can only take several steps forward before a strange, threatening presence drives them to turn back. Several items can be found hidden in the tall grass or laying around within the buildings; however, no NPCs can be found besides a friendly Audino and Happiny that run the Pokemon Center. The PokeMart is boarded-up and inaccessible. When the player enters Atroscence Conservatory, a brief scene will play involving a Plusle and a Minun. These two Pokemon will lead the challenger throughout the various rooms of the university; it is randomized whether or not the Plusle or the Minun is the one telling the "truth" in each room. Following the honest Pokemon will allow the player to progress; following the lying Pokemon will cause the player to reset to the beginning of the maze. In each of the rooms, there are one or two floating Shedinja that provide hints as to which Pokemon is telling the truth. These Shedinja face the same direction as the honest Pokemon each time the maze is played.Once the challenger enters the main auditorium, they're ambushed by Azu, who appears behind the player, and Vince, who steps out onto the main stage. A sleeping Meowth can be seen in the rafters of the auditorium. The two of them challenge the player to a double battle; while each trainer has six Pokemon to potentially choose from, they coordinate their selected three Pokemon in order to best oppose the challenger's team.Upon completion of the Gym challenge, Azu and Vince award the player with the Reverie Badge, which boosts all offensive stats for the player's Pokemon, and the TMs for X-Scissor and Shadow Claw. The Shedinja and maze vanish entirely, allowing the player direct access to the auditorium. If the player returns to the auditorium after the battle is over, they can find an Old Gateau among the seats of the audience.

POST-GAME

When returning to Atroscence Town after the Elite Four and Champion have been beaten, the Happiny running the Pokemon Center has been replaced with a Phantump. The threatening presence hanging over the graveyard has lifted, allowing the player to enter. Towards the back of the graveyard is a Hallowed Tower, which an Odd Keystone can be inserted into in order to fight a Lv. 57 Spiritomb. When the player re-enters the Conservatory, they are immediately greeted by the Meowth that they had formerly seen in the rafters of the auditorium. She introduces herself as Cashew, and leads the player around the University again, stumbling into several fights with aggressive wild Gengar, Ariados, and a horde encounter with five Nincada. Cashew will eventually lead the player back to the auditorium, where they'll find that a trap door has opened in the center of the stage.Entering the trap door will lead the player to the formerly-inaccessible basement level of the Conservatory. The basement appears to be a highly-futuristic lab, with notebooks and journals dedicated to chronicling the Distortion World, Ultra Space, and the creatures that can be found within each. A series of increasingly-paranoid diary entries seems to be entirely focused on the malevolent spirits that seem to be haunting their writer; another series of scientific journals seem to be detailing the creation of an artificial Pokemon based off of the body of an insect.Once the player ventures deep enough into the basement, they encounter a tear that allows them to enter the Distortion World. When they enter the Distortion World, they're immediately confronted by both Azu and Vince, who unveil their true intentions behind being Gym Leaders in the town. Atroscence is confirmed to have been abandoned because it was built on a location somewhat dissociated from both space and time, causing the fabric of reality to be somewhat thinner in the area. Azu stayed behind in order to deepen his connection to Giratina, while Vince stayed behind to perform rather... unethical research on the Ultra Beasts and Genesect. The two bargain with the player, convincing them to participate in and keep their research a secret in exchange for having permanent access to the Distortion World and Ultra Space. From this point on, the player has access to the Distortion World, as well as the Ultra Wormholes, allowing them a point from which to hunt for the Ultra Beasts, legendary Pokemon, shiny Pokemon, and Pokemon with Hidden Abilities.

Haunted by the voices of ghosts, Azu is obsessed with widening the gate into the Distortion World, believing that he's the one who can offer these spirits a second shot at life. His mask has been melded to his face, providing him a direct link to Giratina; while he fully believes that he's doing what's best for the lost souls of the dead, it's difficult to say how much of his mind has truly been twisted by Giratina's calls for violence. The connection that he has with Giratina allows him to use a primitive version of Shadow Force. He appears and disappears at will, transporting himself wherever he wishes within the town.

AZU: The Omen of the Past

CASUAL POKEMON
Froslass (ace), Galarian Corsola, Minun
───
TRIVIA
His mask is made from the shell of a Galarian Corsola -- when his first one evolved into a Cursola, he collected its broken remains and carved it into a phantom mask.
No one knows if the ice on his head is real or not; people just know that he really likes Froslass. However, they are cold to the touch... maybe they could be pieces of Never-Melt Ice?He always seems to be staring into space, even when he's being talked to. He sometimes breaks eye contact during conversation just to look behind the person, as if sensing an otherworldly presence among them.

VINCE: The Herald of the Future

CASUAL POKEMON
Scolipede (ace), Silcoon, Plusle
───
TRIVIA
Can "scan" the world around him in a limited radius, ostensibly through the vibrations that he can feel in the floor. Is he really using his own senses, or is he "seeing" through the senses of his Pokemon?
It's impossible to see his eyes; they're typically obscured by the shadow of his hat or covered by his hair when he lets it down. It's rumored that they're completely missing -- or were never present at all.Would be considered a Faller by the International Police; whenever he's traveling Ultra Space or even near a Wormhole in the Distortion World, an Ultra Beast is always following his tracks.

The abandonment of Atroscence Town provided Vince with the perfect opportunity to pursue his own research into the physiologies of alien creatures, as he seeks to augment biology and push both human and Pokemon potential past its natural limit. Stealing the Aether Foundation's technologies, Vince ended up bioengineering a powerful Genesect -- and biohacking the mechanisms used to communicate with and control it directly into his own hands, wrists, and brain. He relies almost entirely on his Genesect's eyes for sight-- and insists on returning to Ultra Space for the sake of the energy that can be harnessed only within these alternate realities.

CLICK HERE TO ASK ME SOME QUESTIONS (AND SEND MY DADS YOUR CONCERNS) ( ̄ε ̄)

Sooooooooo (ㆆ_ㆆ) my dads think that they can make this whole storage site or """repository""" or whatever without telling me? OR INCLUDING ME??? Like I'm in pictures with them or whatever but they're not even gonna give me a page of my own?? Fine ( ̄︿ ̄) They don't know that they left their computer unlocked (⓿︿⓿) I'll just hack this stupid page and make my own!Hi!!!!!! I'm Cashew ヾ(≧▽≦*)o Everyone's favorite streamer, tuxedo cat (explains my formal clothing, hehe), and the gamer of the century! Unlike what my stupid dads are gonna tell you, I'm like, basically the main character in every single world that they're in. It's a big responsibility, but that's what I'm here for ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ I mean like, look at all the fanart that people drew for me!!! And I have like a whole profile too?? That I made myself??? I put effort into making sure people get to know me (〃>目<) That's what I'm all about! And to prove it, just scroll! Look at all the stupid roles I've taken that my dads aren't even saying anything about. ᕦ(ò-óˇ)ᕤ And don't forget -- I'll still "cat-chew" later on my Twitch, once you're done reading all about me over here!

LITERALLY JUST ME!!! ( ^ⓛ ω ⓛ^ )

Can't go wrong with a classic!! Basically, I used to be just like any other black and white cat. I liked sleeping... I still like sleeping. I liked sitting on keyboards... Well, I use keyboards in a different way now. Life's been good ever since I got transformed into a real girl... with magic fire and ice powers! (≧∇≦)ノTEE BEE ECH, I still dunno how it happened, but I don't think my dads do either o(* ̄︶ ̄*)o So I won't question it too muchhh... I like rhythm games, FPSes, and I'm level 57 on Steam (* ̄3 ̄)╭ Working on the achivement grind never ends!

COTTAGECORE LIFE (✿◡‿◡)

I have such an easy time when we're hanging out in the Valley... (* ̄︶ ̄*) Even though I don't get to play games I guess getting to relax in the middle of nowhere can be fun...AGGGHHHHH I GET SO BORED!!!!!!! I don't even have thumbs o(≧口≦)o And plus my dads are always busy like. I don't know, pulling weeds or whatever?? And whenever they DO bother me they're so ANNOYING!!!! Getting like, magic teleportation and vision powers is fine but NOBODY CAN HEAR ME?? I wanna get back to my PC alreadyyyyy .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

PAY DAY!!!!!!!!!!! ☆*: .。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

OMGGGGGGGGG. THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MEOWTH IS THE FACT THAT I GET TO USE PAY DAY WHENEVER I WANT. THE GYM LEADERS FEED ME AND LET ME DO WHATEVER I WANT EVERY DAY AND ALL I HAVE TO DO IS GO TO THE CITY TO BUY GROCERIES SOMETIMES. Like I GUESS it's kind of weird that I don't look like any of the other Meowth (and that I can talk?!?!?!?) but they just say that it's part of the effects of the "Distortion World" or whatever that means so WHATEVER. AND THEN WHEN I GET TO BE A HUMAN I GET TO MAKE EVEN MORE MONEY??? AND I'M POPULAR AT THE SAME TIME????? WHAT MORE CAN I EVEN ASK FOR ☆*: .。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

MY 4HEAD ERA... (p≧w≦p)

Umm... OK TBH when I woke up in City Inkington the Fifth (or whatever this weird place is called), I didn't think that people would tell me that I had been sleeping for TEN THOUSAND YEARS??? ( ⓛ ω ⓛ ;;;) Like I don't even think Genshin has ten thousand years of updates for the future planned??? I thought I was gonna be TOTALLY bored but I guess like being a sports commentator is almost like being a streamer in a weird way... so it's been fun just sleeping and watching esports in-between!!!!! (Except for all the ink. I can't get it out of my fur. Pleaseee help me ಥ_ಥ ಥ_ಥ ಥ_ಥ)

DISNEY PRINCESS (∩^o^)⊃━☆~~~

"Every princess comes with responsibility," they all said. WHATEVER. I'M 15!!!!! (┬┬﹏┬┬) I hate having like 7 different tutors and being locked in my stupid tower doing math homework... and then my dads get MAD at me for always staring out the window staring at the knights, I'm not even STARING at them I'm just looking at the SCENERY and it's not like they don't spend 300% of their time STARING at each other anyway!!! Getting to shapeshift into whatever I want doesn't even help when I can't lose my stupid fur o(TヘTo) And it's not even any of the girl knights catching me, it's the gross old adult ones... I mean what? WHAT?

I'M ME... BUT I'M NOT ME?? (⊙o⊙)

WHO EVEN IS THIS??? She looks like me... she kind of has the same STYLE as me... but she definitely IS NOT ME!!!!!!!! ヽ(*。>Д<)o I don't even know what to tell you!!! Like, she still calls herself Cashew but OMGGGGGG I don't think I know anyone who's as NOT-ME as this. She HATES all my favorite fast-paced fighting games (WHO COULD DISLIKE SKULLGIRLS???) but can spend hours playing Sudoku instead??? She makes VIDEO ESSAYS on boring stuff like... I don't know, video game theories and movie lore??? AND SHE EVEN HAS A YOUTUBE GOLD PLAY BUTTON??? I'm only Twitch Verified!!!!! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ SOOOOOO NOT FAIR TELL HER TO GET OFF HER IPAD!!!!!!

...AND THEN EVERYTHING ELSE?!?!?!?! (ʘ ͜ʖ ʘ)

JEEZ, are my dads ever gonna get tired of dragging me with them into... whatever dumb thing they're doing in the moment?? I'm a cat, I need time to sleep and eat and do nothing so that I have energy to entertain my loyal followers!!! SOOO ANNOYING, they want me to do whatever they're doing ㄟ( ▔, ▔ )ㄏ I guess you can take a look at all the other stuff, if you're THAT interested in me...
