Sigh. In response to the potential midjourney tumblr scrape…

Well, if rumors are true about this, I am either going to mass delete most, if not all, of my posts here, the ones left behind, I revert to thumbnails, adding a link to another place you can see the image. I currently have an image scraper pulling all my images.

This tumblr is an insane backup of my art from 2012; I don’t have anything nearly as constant or goes nearly as far back. My current plan is to download the whole archive, then maybe make mini-collections of my fanart and a ‘digital zine’ of my years worth of commissions. It’ll be slow to make sure everyone is given due credit. These will go on either ko-fi or itch.io, if not both. My OC art will be nuked entirely and not reshared except what’s up on pepperly.art and my archives on toyhou.se. If I upload something interesting, I’ll at least give a notice.

For the future? I’m going to post previews of new art and not the full things; it’ll be ugly but at least it’ll be safe from in-house scraping. Things I’ve read here and there about glaze and nightshade don’t seem good enough. They can run simple filters over an image if the watermarking is faint enough and it can’t stop them. Anything that would stop it absolutely ruins the quality for humans.
