I thought I’d introduce my main OCs! I mean, I always draw them, but a refresher is nice, right? Especially because the lore has changed a bit since I last gave a proper introduction.
ALTThey are all from The Lost Ones, an original story of mine. It’s about a prince named Equinox, who is the reincarnation of an ancient dead god (Zola). After being murdered and suddenly coming back to life with newfound magic, enemies from his past life begin to show up and cause trouble.
I started the original version of this painting in high school, but I gave up on it and figured I’d come back to it once I got better at art. Well, a decade later, and I finally decided to revisit the concept. I’m really happy with how it turned out in the end, and I’m really proud to see my improvement over the years 🍓✨
Equinox always acts so tortured by Sol’s corny lines, but he enjoys the attention. And, of course, Sol just likes to be annoying lol

I started drawing these a while back. Actually, I mostly finished it before, but I left a few things uncolored and just returned to add the finishing touches, haha.
This is my current Morrowind character, Arun. I played around with his design for a while and basically made my own little dress-up game in my art program, swapping out accessories. In the end, I couldn’t decide which one I liked best, so I just included them all. If I had to choose, I think the middle-bottom is pretty good. He looks very adventure-ready.
I made prints of my “The Crow and the Red Sky” painting, so I took the opportunity to do some touch-ups and rework it a bit.
Based on a variety of clothes I’ve found in stores that I thought Solstice would look cute in— with the obvious exception of her battle outfit on the second slide. That one I drew because I thought it was long overdue for a new reference.
I think my personal favorite is a tie between the blue glitter outfit and the metal dress. Although, when I think of how Solstice can control metal, that dress has to be such a deadly weapon in her hands— which makes me lean slightly more towards the metal dress, haha. It would be awesome to see her wear that for a party-turned-deadly-brawl scene.
Also, reminder that this is the woman Velox called ugly lmao
I started this one some time ago, but I finally got back to working on it last week.
They’re all teenagers in these drawings— which might be obvious considering how short Equinox is here lol 😆 And for the record, in the drawing up top, Kat was just trying to be nice and include Mandy in the party. But Equinox (at this age) can be somewhat possessive.

I wanted to make a painting inspired by an older comic I did. I’m not totally satisfied with it, but it was time to walk away and move on.
I do think it’s interesting how isolated from the context of the comic, the touch of the hand seems so affectionate and loving. But the tears in Equinox’s eyes, at least, betray that idea. 🤔 I tried to be subtle with the intention, but I hope I wasn’t too subtle and that there is some hint that things are amiss lol 😆

I was never really satisfied with the original because of the grey skin tone of my Shadow OCs at the time. It clashed too much with the pink background— because contrary to popular belief, grey looks horrendous with pastel colors.
But since I’ve changed the skin tones to more human-like colors, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to go back and fix what I didn’t like. 💞
Of course, Buggy is Equinox’s (and Sol’s) future descendent. I always have fun doodling her and playing around with potential plot ideas— but she doesn’t really have much a canon story attached to her right now.
The most I really have is that her mom goes missing (somehow), and she ends up in the forest where Equinox lives. And because Equinox is an immortal god who looks out for his bloodline, she ends up staying with him for the time being.
Naturally as her great great great great grandfather, he spoils her rotten and lets her do whatever she wants. Made worse because the forest and everything in it has to obey her every whim because Equinox, the God of the Forest, willed it. So… of course, she thinks she’s the princess of everything lol 😂
I remembered to do Hourly Comic Day this year! —although I’m posting it late 😅
This was a really chill day for me, especially because my baby nephew hasn’t come by in a while. My sister-in-law is off work while the due date for the next baby gets closer, so I suddenly have a lot of extra time, haha
