  • So I’ve been teaching 6th grade since January, and one thing about my female students which made me upset to realize is how many of them are obsessed with skincare. I've heard the girls in my class discussing the EYE CREAM they use. Like tf you mean eye cream? You're ELEVEN!!! I'm a decade older than you and have never even touched eye cream!! The most skincare a middle schooler needs is cleanser and moisturizer, maybe some acne cream. Who tf is selling you all this other stuff? Who tf told you you needed all this?

    It hurts me to see. Their brains are too young for these types of insecurities 😭 no 11 year old girl should be obsessed with wrinkles, I wanna beat tf out of whatever tiktoker made them believe they needed skin that perfect

  • Do you know how fucking miserable it is to watch a group of 11 year old girls obsessively check their skin on pocket mirrors? And hear them talk about how they need new products to fix “imperfections” created by tiktok?? I just taught them last week what the OCEAN TIDES are. I helped one of them spell the word “conduction” yesterday. They just learned what the atmosphere is. Who the fuck is telling these literal children that they need eye cream??!! When I catch you!!!

    “My passsion, look! The sssshell matchessss your eyesss.”

    After getting comfortable in your married lives, and getting all settled down within Pitaya Dragon’s temple, you were the one to suggest the possibility of having kids. Pitaya Dragon was over the moon for this, although a cookie and a dragon would have a hard time making new dough.

    Despite this, you two tried, almost visiting the oven every single day, placing each of your ingredients into it in hopes of getting a baby cookie. It took a long while of trying, but eventually, a fresh dragon egg had been baked and was now in both of your arms.

    Pitaya Dragon was thrilled about this. Ha, look at them! The first dragon to continue their lineage! Take that, siblings! Still, seeing you so happy and beaming down at this round egg made their heartbeat quickly. They also couldn’t watch for this egg to hatch. They’ll have a lot of training to do!

    For now, the egg had to be put in a high-temperature place, and you can often catch Pitaya Dragon being there, snuggling the egg gently, and even having their tail wrapped around it. They were already very proud of their child.

    Their ferocity is more or less the same: their cookie and their egg is important and any length should be taken to make sure they’re properly watched over.

    Some dragons may have different ideas on what to do with some of these methods of protection.

They’re much more playful, wanting to hold the egg themselves and fly around with it. Their unserious attitude makes you ponder if they care about you as much you did for them, but rest assured, you and the egg matter so much to Lychee. It’s kind of why they’re hesitating on letting you leave the cave, they’re lowkey worried you’ll get hurt.

Kept in their palace similarly to Lotus, they’ll make sure you have everything you need so that you don’t need to leave on your own.     • Pitaya can’t leave you with Longan, that’s for sure. You were still just a cookie and they know for sure that leaving you with Longan could only mean something bad. Pitaya would be more reckless, trying to get you out of Longan’s grasp, but Ananas begs to differ…

    • Ananas believes that you’ll be safe in the ivory dragon’s grasp, to be spared from the new world that sought to rid cookiekind from the land. They had their own reservations about how Longan and Lychee will keep you hidden in the palace, but if it meant that you’d live, they’d have to fight just as aggressively as Pitaya…

  • THIS. Like, we cannot keep having this conversation. "Hey I noticed you follow x but they ship this/watch this/read this/follow this fandom which is problematic." I don't care. Unless this person is a nazi, a terf, or something along those lines, I literally don't care. I have a degree. I'm pursuing a master's. We're talking about 2D lines here. If you have a problem with me for not having a problem with someone (again, unless this someone is a genuine piece of shit) then go, don't even bother, I'm an adult with adult responsibilities and duties. Someone doesn't see your blorbo the way you do? I'm sure the 2D blorbo who doesn't even exist won't mind, and neither should you if you don't want to face liver failure before you turn 30. "Agree to disagree" is a reasonable state of mind for these things, it's okay if not everyone appreciates/hates/thinks the same as you, I promise.
