I don’t think I actually did enough art this year to make a by-month year in review… There was just a lot going on. But I saw someone post 2 decades worth of art, and realized I do have like a decade worth archived and still accessible!

@shazzbaa shared her character that she’s gonna be in the same campaign as me with yesterday so now I’m here excitedly to show off mine. Ziron is a drow that moved to the surface (the sunglasses and parasol are made specially to assist with surface life) to follow the rail jobs after the war demanded for public rail access (which he fully approves of), but after being involved in a major accident ended up working as a manager at a cafe in one of the larger stations. He says he’s no longer associated with the rail companies, and yet constantly spends time around the rails anyways…
… yes. My DM said “there is trai–” and I instantly knocked down his door going tELL ME ABOUT THE TRAINS so uh. here we go. my completely self indulgent second DnD character. who has stuff to do with trains…
AAAAA this year I participated in the Deadly Premonition Secret Santa that @michaeltillotson put together. (big thanks for doing all the organizational stuff!! It was fun!) I played Deadly Prem for the first time earlier this year with a group of my good friends, and then with the DP2 announcement, it just seemed like the right time to hop in on the fun fandom experience!!

HI HELLO so @shazzbaa and I decided we’re gonna venture into the Lets Play world!??
Long story short, we identified this as a Creative Hobby tm that fit into the correct boxes we both needed a hobby to fit into. We get to relax from work while also still making a thing! And finally my steam library will see the light of day!
Our first video was A Revisit toThe Beginner’s Guide, a game we’ve both played already and loved a lot, so we wanted to replay it together. It’s… uh, 2 hours long? And not the best for anyone’s first introduction to that game.
BUT TODAY WE RELEASED US PLAYING THE CHICORY DEMO, a game I’ve been super excited for since I stumbled across it like a year ago. This was also our first test video of “can we actually do this?” and then, as you might tell by watching it, we quickly fell in love with playing games together and recording them.
Admittedly, our quality isn’t “great.” in terms of sound and video. There’s def some weirdness with us recording it, the computer I have for running games isn’t good, we’re using discord which makes it a bit weird, etc etc. But we’re having so much fun doing this and it’d mean a lot if you checked out our channel.
