The gondolier gets off first, taking your hand as he guides you back to solid ground. You walk along a narrow stream and pass through a lush grassland. Soon, there's a shallow lagoon in front of you with colorful trails of light dancing just above the surface.
"Welcome to Elysium,"
a heavenly voice says, only adding to this place's ethereal beauty. A blonde, butterfly-winged person stands to your right, their face glowing dimly from the fireflies.
"Here...take this."

The setting is a bit of what our current future could look like, but I don't want to make it a dystopia - the point is to have an escape from the dark corporate future that AI, Amazon, etc. could be heading towards IRL, but I also want it to include some commentary on that.
