rules and terms of service for commissions
i can draw:

- art that i deem offensive or immoral (racist, homophobic, etc.)
process
- after receiving a description of the commission, i will begin sketching
- once the sketch is accepted, payment in full will be made for prices under $50
- for prices above $50, half after the sketch and half after the finished product is acceptable. there will be no refunds past this stage
- i charge extra for large changes made after the sketch was accepted, but you will be told before i do so
- turnaround times can and will vary due to complexity + real life events. i will also speed up my process for an extra feepricing + payment
- all prices are in usd and payment can be made via paypal, ko-fi, venmo, or deviantart points (conversion rate is 100 da points = $1 usd)
- prices can vary from the pricing chart due to complexity
- all prices and turnarounds are estimates that are liable to change due to complexity, commissioner response time, or other consequences
- for large, intricate pieces, i may request per hour payment ($10 usd/hour)
- please do not purchase a commission from me if you do not have the money in hand
- you must tell me if you can no longer afford a commission and wish to cancel it
- payment must be made within two weeks of sketch confirmation unless otherwise discussed. if this payment is not met, i will assume that the commission is no longer wantedterms of service
- i reserve the right to decline commissions, and none of my commissions are to be used commercially unless otherwise specified
- i also reserve the right to use commissions i make for my own promotional material
- commissions can be posted on social media, given that i am credited as aechtrades on instagram (for tumblr and instagram i generally prefer that the commissioner share my original posts!)
- if you do not tell me otherwise, i will assume that you have given me consent to post your commission to my social media with credits to you as the commissioner
- by purchasing a commission you agree that you have read through this entire page and that you agree to all terms stated
rules and terms of service for adopts
payment
- i reserve the right to refuse offers for any reason
- do not offer to buy an adopt if you do not have the money in hand
- you have one week to confirm a purchase. if it is not confirmed, i will put the adopt back up for sale
- you have two weeks to send payment after the purchase is confirmed
- payments must be made in usd through paypal or ko-fi unless otherwise specified
- payment must be made before the transfer of the adoptterms of service
- when reselling an adopt, do not sell for higher than initial value unless additional art has been commissioned (does not apply to art that hasn’t been acquired for real or digital currency) or you have added mq-hq art of your own
- do not resell an adopt that wasn’t bought with usd/points
- trading is allowed unless you received the adopt for free
- gifting is always allowed
- any aspect of the adopt can be changed once it is purchased
- once the adopt is purchased, the buyer owns all rights to the character design
- do not erase my signature from my original adopt image
- i reserve the right to use my adopt in self-promotion
- credit me as the original designer regardless of changes made to design
- commercial use is not allowed; all adopts are meant for personal use unless otherwise discussed
- by purchasing a adopt from me, you are agreeing to the terms listed above and accept that there will be consequences should the terms be violated
