Indeed, although partially! My art style was inspired by various other artists and media too, although some of the most significant ones would be yes, Jhonen Vasquez’s work, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and a teeny pinch of Eddsworld. Hmm, maybe even a bit of the 2000’s emo art style…

(Heh, don’t worry. I think I take it as a compliment…)

If my research is right, It’s a soft sheet of tissue that covers the adductor muscles (which close the jaw).
You know, this:

You’ve probably seen it in many dinosaur depictions, or on numerous modern reptiles like alligators or monitor lizards.
Dragons, wyverns, drakes etc. as well.
