Haven’t drawn anything so have these Bedman designs I did a while ago!

I wanted to design an outfit for him he could be wearing if he lived and was awake like Delilah. The intention is that he would resemble his bed and wear comfy clothes he could sleep in. The jacket contrasts this, maybe it was an expensive item he saved up for.

The top ref sheet came from frustration I wanted to get rid of by experimenting with art style/stylisation.

guilty gear bedman character design actually i have the game now its interesting to learn i think the closed eye motif is so much cooler than the dreamcatcher it fits so well with adding spikes to his design bc bed is spiky as hell! also make him a rectangle to be bed shaped he needed to be a mixture of nerd sleepy and cool maybe ill turn the top one into a 3d model fanart my art art

Yes it’s done in blender! I didn’t download anything new, but you might have to turn on the node wrangler add-on if you don’t have already.

And yeah basically you’re right, it was done using compositing! Scale the render down, pixelate and then scale it back up to its original size. You can adjust the settings of course, just make sure to scale the same amount back up.

Additionally make sure that under Render Properties > Film you change the filter size to 0.01 or else it won’t be as crispy.

ask blender b3d 3d i would love to do more advanced stuff but I'm not super good at it haha I haven't experimented around with this much yet so im sure theres more things you can do/change up i also turn down the size of the image in output properties to render it faster i have no idea if that makes a difference but probably not

This was technically my Art Fight 2023 attack on @factorybought but I never finished it in July. Still wanted to continue working on it though! I promise this outline took me longer to make than it looks.

b3d 3d lowpoly my art art furry art artists on tumblr also if youre reading this as per usual if you want the model file you can dm me :) the outline is all done in blender using compositing and view layers and stuff took me several afternoons to figure out and i ended up not even using it on the thing that actually moves lol whatever its there also proud of the face shape!

Oh damn I forgot to mention but Comic Con was last weekend, thank you soooo so much to everyone who visited, some of you were so sweet gosh! I’ll upload some of the art I made there on tumblr eventually.

comic con also i was right next to a youtuber i really liked that was crazy????? was pretty bummed out the first day for all sorts of reasons but I had an espresso the second day and had a much better time haha profits were pretty bad this year esp compared with how much bank we made last year???? they expanded the convention so much i think the problem was less people going to artist alley hall thank you to the faust cosplayer bc u made me really wanna buy strive now. im thiking about modding so hard

Since the GG/Bedman fandom on tumblr isn’t as active compared to Twitter I’ll use this opportunity to say I have a Twitter account I often post sketches and WIPs on, Tumblr mainly gets finished art! So there are additional things I haven’t posted/will never post on here.
