You can call me Bones!

I am a queer adult over 20 and I use He/They pronouns. This is a side blog where I post Warrior Cats analysis and discussion, designs, and writing for WC-related projects.

Currently, I’m maintaining the Better Bones AU, a WC conlang called Clanmew, and my Clan Culture series. All of these are free to use, reference, or take inspiration from.

My side-sideblog is @bonebabbles, that’s where I do most reblogs, live-read books (currently on Ratha’s Creature!), and discuss other media (usually xenofiction). Consider that my ‘spam blog’ if you will!

Please read this entire post before sending an ask or tagging me.

  • You are never bothering me with “like spam” or “reblog spam!”
  • I LOVE seeing people talk in the tags and replies
  • I adore asks and I read all of them! I can’t promise to get to every single one though, please check out my Ask Etiquette
  • “Can I use Clan Culture in my project?” Yes. Please read this entire post.

Better Bones AU, also called BB or BB!AU

My most comprehensive passion project is the Better Bones AU, a revamp of Warrior Cats that aims to:

  1. Fix the tangled family tree and give it clearer rules, expanding on kinship between cats while not neglecting friendships
  2. Make the environment accurate to northwestern England, including education on how different biomes are managed and lists of local flora and fauna
  3. Build out Clan culture by giving the Clans tool use and food preparation, additional traditions and customs, their own language, and medicinal treatment guides from sniffles up to HRT.
  4. Change the themes of canon by addressing (not removing) its problematic elements, giving the cats consistent politics and making the narrative conclusively anti-authoritarian.
  5. Be cool as fuck, with wilder deaths, more clanborn villains, bloodier battles, and even MORE complicated innerClan drama

HERE IS ITS CONTENT WARNING LIST.

Its old name was #Bonefall Rewrite, but was changed as it became more divergent from canon.

Individual posts are tagged #Better Bones AU, and are sorted further by arc such as #BB!TPB, #BB!Po3, #BB!characterName, so on.

Clan Culture

Like I mentioned, I create extra culture for Clan cats and society (tagged #Clan Culture), with a whole bunch of guides that expand on canon-adjacent crafts, meals, medicines, and so on. Clanmew is part of the Clan Culture series.

The guy who made the "Squilf is worse" document said that Squirrelstar needs to be leashed by Brambleclaw. Using that exact word. They said that the relationship was failing because Bramble couldn't leash her.

How do I even respond to something like that. They’ll say “I don’t hate women” and wash it down with “I just think relationships fail when they’re not leashed.” Sigmund Freud rises from his grave like a popstar on a stage, complete with dry ice smoke, high heels, and hotpants, and uses his cigar as a microphone to perform his smash hit; The Freudian Slip.

Also does someone wanna link this document to me I probably won't make any statements on it directly but let me take a look at this thing So I can get ready for whatever is surely going to wash downstream in the next inevitable migration Bone babble

Did Juniperclaw at least make it to the haven before he died or did he get his neck snapped the instant he showed his back?

I love the wording of this. Did he at LEAST get to see the butterflies? Or did Harrybrook’s rude ass just ragdoll that man on sight

The answer is that he ragdolled him 💔. He did not get to see the haven. Juniperclaw’s back flashed like a QuickTime event and Harry-B has lightning reflexes. Gets to StarClan like, “I DIDNT EVEN GET THE BUNNIES THIS DAY CANT GET ANY WORSE”

Does frecklewish die in the BOTTE or does she continue vibing in the df

She’s vibing. Oakstar is probably double-dead though.

I feel like if you double-killed her, she’d have her afterlife flash before her eyes, see Mapleshade, and refuse to die out of spite. She will not fade unless that patchy-ass rag fades first. They’re eternal enemies.

So she’s definitely in Curlfeather’s little group. She’s cursed by Mapleshade as the daughter of Reedwhisker, so Frecki might have even been invoked in life once or twice. They get along very well, both being very proud cats with high expectations of honor.

That said, I think Darkstripe still gets a little intimidated when Frecklewish comes to dinner. She’s kinda got alpha baboon energy, but she never does start a fight or anything.

For the cat who takes out Juniperclaw, maybe if any of Leafstar's kits are still alive besides Harrybrook (or just him idk how you characterize any of the three), perhaps one of them would go with it? Leafstar might not have liked "an eye for an eye" and she'd probably teach them it's wrong to seek revenge, but I do think one of them can be talked into it, in the name of SkyClan and Leafstar. Make it more personal when Juniperclaw is told who they are in relation to the cat he killed, making it click in his head what is about to happen.

Oooo, great idea, I GOTTA do that… hmmm. Much as I wish I could cash in another chip for Firefern, since I adore her name, it’s gotta be Harrybrook.

In-canon, his character is consistently harsh and distrusting and he’s got it even worse in BB. It could be like his mother is the only thing actually holding him back. If anyone is going to end up being Waspstar’s “Cleaner,” it absolutely has to be him.

Harrybrook: We had a good thing, you stupid son of a foxheart! We had Leafstar, we had a camp, we had everything we needed and it all ran like woodwork! You could have shut your mouth, hunted, and caught as much prey as you ever needed. It was perfect! But no! You just had to blow it up! You, and your pride and your ego! You just had to be the man! If you’d known your place, we’d all be fine right now!

A little recap of BB!Harrybrook, since it’s been a while since I’ve mentioned him or any of his fragments;

  • Harrybrook is the son of Leafstar, Echosong, and Billystorm.
  • SkyClan does not have the Cleric’s Vow.
  • This is because SkyClan was exiled at the beginning of the Ripple Era; before Larkstripe’s Strike which resulted in the unofficial vow being codified.
  • it is actually a positive in their culture if their Cleric previously raised kittens. Echosong probably did have other litters in her long life.
  • Echosong is also alive to the current arc; Frecklewing joined with The Kin. Fidgetflake is still around, but he’s probably still the “junior” Cleric of sorts.
  • Important point being that Harrybrook has personal stake in SkyClan’s unique customs. His only surviving parent is a Cleric.
  • I wouldn’t be surprised if this is what makes him such an effective killer. He has a knowledge of poisons and anatomy.
  • All cats know where the carotid artery is, they find it all the time when they put the killing bite in the wrong spot. Habr knows where else a single blow can bleed you out.
  • As a little kitten, he was named after Harry, who helped to save his mother.
  • What no one knew at the time was that Harry was being courted by an ancient monster. Sol, the God of Autumn, Change, and Tricks, wanted to play a game.
  • The rules were simple; Sacrifice three kits.
  • Sol wanted to see how far Harry, once baring the name Cinders, would go in pursuit of the power it could offer him. Sol HATES a boring vessel.
  • Harry JUMPED at the chance, offering two of his own kits as the last one got away. He just needed one more.
  • SkyClan almost tempted him into tucking his ambition away. Here, he was safe and accepted for the first time… but his desire for power won out in the end.
  • Sol offers immortality, the ability to mould reality like clay, the whole world could be Harry’s toy.
  • (WIP SECTION)
  • In some way, Sol was able to manipulate Billystorm. I’m still working out how severe this manipulation was.
  • He likely got to Leafstar too. Possibly intentionally driving a wedge between them– convincing Billystorm that SkyClan was unsafe and he’d raised the kits more than either his mate or his mate’s girlfriend. He had a right to keep them safe, even if that meant taking them from everything they’d ever known.
  • And to Leafstar, he told her Billystorm was plotting against her. That she needed to be as firm with him as she is with the cantankerous Sharpclaw. If she’s not, he might take those kittens back to his humans, and who knows what they’d do?
  • In any case, a fight between them causes Billystorm to leave. I’m not sure if I’m keeping Leafstar exiling him.
  • (Note: I don’t really like how either character acts in the canon story. Or the framing. Or… anything about it really. It’s bad Todd.)
  • In the past, I’d made it so Billy ended up trying to take the kids to his human, and then the human was the one who decided to get rid of the kits. INSTEAD it works a LOT better if Billystorm went back to his humans, and Harry then used this as a lure to get the kittens out of camp.
  • “Let’s go visit your Ba, kittens. I know where he is. Just follow me.”
  • While living in the town, Billystorm meets up with the child of Harry who got away, and learns that they’ve all been set up.
  • Billystorm deserves to go run save his kids and punch a God in the face I think.
  • DAYLIGHT WARRIOR MORE LIKE LIGHTS OUT WARRIOR! KAPOW!!
  • (Much as I will miss the gutpunch brutality of Billystorm realizing that his human can’t be trusted. I’ll just use the idea someplace else.)
  • (WIP SECTION END)
  • Stormkit was unable to be saved. There was only Firefern and Harrybrook.
  • Harry has been terrified of water since then. It represents everything awful that’s ever happened to him.
  • He doesn’t even like when it rains. Storms always seem to bring terrible things.
  • Firefern ended up dying on the journey to the Lake. I’m leaning towards changing it to infection, during the time that Echosong is missing (taking Frecklewing’s arc).
  • Her other mother wasn’t there to help her, and she died of something preventable. Something Harry knows she could have healed.
  • Harrybrook hates his name. I think he was too quiet about it, though, to the point where his family wasn’t aware of it.
  • They probably figured it was overwriting Harry’s memory. It’s Harrybrook’s name now, instead. Harry just feels like it’s a reminder of being tricked.
  • I think at one point he should get an honor title, but I’m still working it out. He might just be keeping Harrybrook as a grim reminder.

If it’s him who kills Juniperclaw, I know for a fact he’d take Waspstar’s orders very seriously; “Please be discreet and professional.” It’s only mostly personal, you see. More importantly, this is for SkyClan.

Leafstar wouldn’t have approved. But she’s not here now.

He’d quietly intercept Juniperclaw as he approaches the camp, standing in his way, looking him up and down without a twinge of emotion on his face. Juniperclaw’s hackles are raised immediately. He lived with SkyClan before Heartstar reformed ShadowClan– everyone knows who Harveybrook is.

“I’ve- I’ve come to pay my respects,” He says proudly, standing tall and noble. Even after that he did, he has the boldness to hold himself as a brave warrior. What he knows he did, and to who he’s talking to. Harrybrook shouldn’t fault him for not knowing how arrogant he comes across– but does anyway.

“Yes, we’ve been expecting you,” He flicks his tail and dips his head respectfully, “Right this way.”

The trail doesn’t lead to camp.

When Juniperclaw begins to realize that they’re taking a strange path, he just waves it away as an odd feeling. It’s been a while since he’s been here, after all. But the tickle doesn’t go away. It gets stronger and stronger, until he recognizes the northern border of what used to be ShadowClan’s full range.

And that’s when he halts, “Where exactly are you taking me?”

“Not any further if you don’t want to,” Though Harrybrook’s eyes are wide like he’s about to pounce on prey and his massive body is buckled low, prowling, sizing up the distance between them, his tone is soft. Like he’s gently explaining something to a fellow warrior. “This would be far enough.”

The ex-deputy swallows on a dry throat, frozen in place. Harrybrook relaxes his stance. Juniperclaw seems to be very good at taking orders, just like he is. He knows exactly what to do to keep this discreet and professional.

“If you’d like, we can finish the long walk. It’s a place my mother used to like. It has flowers, butterflies, it’s a lovely haven,” He relaxes his stance, meeting Juniperclaw’s terrified eyes with a calm, dutiful look.

The panic distills into a resolve. Like something clicked in his mind, and he was coming to one of those unspoken conclusions that these Forest Four cats all seem to have figured out between them. “All right. I… I think I know the haven you’re talking about. We can have our fight there. There’s no need to make a scene.”

Harrybrook’s ear flicks, but Juniperclaw doesn’t see it as he brushes past him. It seems he misunderstood what this is. He thinks this is an invocation of the Right to Challenge. That this is going to be a fair fight between warriors.

It’s the last mistake he ever made. But he doesn’t feel a thing. Back turned to his killer, he hears the snap before he learns in StarClan that it was the sound of his own neck.

Anonymous asked:

Who’s Juniperclaw again? Also the quote about ruthlessness? Staring curiously

Canon!Juniperclaw is tigerHeartstar’s nephew, son of Dawnpelt and brother to Strikestone and Sleekwhisker.

He was the first deputy of ShadowClan after tigerHeartstar’s return, until he tried to pressure SkyClan into leaving the Lake in AVOS by poisoning their food. No one was hurt any worse than “bad tummyache,” but he was exiled anyway. He then died rescuing Shadowkit from a flooded river QuickTime event.

We found out that he went to the Dark Forest in TBC. He was allowed to become the guardian of the tunnel between the Place of No Stars and StarClan’s Hunting Grounds, in the hopes of finding redemption.

For BB this is all a bit different;

  • I’ve been waiting for a while for the perfect opportunity to rise to rework Juniperclaw’s story.
  • I REALLY like the idea of his poisoning, his exile, and his placement in the Dark Forest… but the back half of AVoS is baddd.
  • Plus, it’s just too bloodless. If he’s going to get DARK FOREST over this, I expect a body count.
  • So now, his actions lead to at least 3 deaths. Leafstar is one of them, Sparkpelt was ALMOST another but Hollylark uses xeir powers to die in her place, and Flickerkit dies shortly before his birth.
  • ANYWAY JUNIPERCLAW
  • I feel like he wasn’t expecting the death toll to be so devastating.
  • This event is being moved to Squirrelflight’s Horror. Juniper’s plot was that he was going to do this poisoning to blame it on The Sisters.
  • He just wanted SkyClan off ShadowClan land, he figured if he convinced Leafstar that the Sisters are a threat that needs to be dealt with that she’d move
  • He didn’t think it would kill three people, just make them sick! Maybe just ONE of Leafstar’s lives! And how was he supposed to know ThunderClan’s leader’s daughter would have a bowl?!
  • This plan probably works, but the guilt EATS Juniperclaw alive. He got exactly what he wanted– a battle patrol against expectant queens.
  • I can’t see this secret going on too long, someone rats him out and he crumbles. He can’t live with it anymore.
  • But in Waspstar’s eyes, an exile was a light punishment. Exactly what xey expected out of Heartstar, so openly biased for her family, not taking the death of SkyClan’s leader as the murder that it was.
  • Xey dealt with this by sending a message; all “honored” guests could come and pay their respects to Leafstar.
  • Juniperclaw isn’t invited explicitly… but the message reaches him. It is implied. So he comes, hoping to offer his sincere regrets.
  • I’m trying to figure out the cat equivalent of “Being taken out back and shot” is lmao
  • Professional mob boss kind of hit. Someone takes out the pistol with a silencer and ends his existence in the back alley as the loud party inside drowns out the sound of the shot. Do you understand me
  • Whoever the “hitman” was, Waspstar is the one who ordered it and xey take full responsibility.
  • The kill was clean. Not messy. Juniperclaw didn’t suffer– unlike his victims.

Juniperclaw goes to the Dark Forest like canon, but in BB he isn’t the only border guard. He’s buddies with Mudclaw and Appledusk.

The line about ruthlessness I mentioned offhandedly is this one from KA Applegate. I’m pretty sure it’s from Animorphs.

People don’t understand the word ruthless. They think that it means ‘mean.’ It’s not about being mean. It’s about seeing the bright, clear line that leads from A to B. The line that goes from motive to means. Beginning to end. It’s about seeing that bright, clear line and not caring about anything but the beautiful fact that you can see the solution.”

It’s become a popular paragraph as of late, because it slaps.

hmm for where you’re going to go with moonpaw if they end up to be a nightsun kid (since i saw you mention the possibility of them being a sunfinch baby in that case in tags)… maybe you could pull a bb!squilf & spark situation and have sunbeam be moonpaws mentor? especially since iirc it was mentioned sunbeam really wanted to be a mentor in one of the earlier books of asc. im also a fan of moonpaw sunfinch baby though and the arc isn’t even out yet so. hrmmm

If I end up altering Nightheart’s placement in any way (I REALLY want to put him in RiverClan) and Moonpaw is revealed as a canonical NightSun baby, 100% Finchlight is going to be her other parent.

Finchy kind of has an energy to me that she would end up with kids young, be a good and fun-loving sort of mom, and then in her older years give those adult children advice about enjoying their youth. The prodigy who CAN do it all, doesn’t regret it one bit, but quietly matures into someone who wishes she’d been able to find more freedom during her life.

(And, with the kindness of time and distance, it’s something she comes to appreciate about her brother. She wishes she’d broken more rules, back then.)

Surprisingly, if SunFinch DOES become endgame for BB!ASC, Finchlight would be the Mi and Sunbeam would be the Ba. I feel like Squirrelflight and Ivypool both have their eyes on Sunbeam and her potential, they’re both trying to provide her opportunities to get her to be a significant warrior within the Clan.

So the unambitious Sunbeam finds herself working on her “career” while Finchlight, who has seen herself as the upcoming inheritor of Firestar’s legacy since the day she joined her mother in the Impostor’s exile, is enjoying the simple challenges of primary parenthood.

It’s not the path either one imagined they’d be on a few moons ago, but it feels right for the people they’ve grown into.

I like that Waspstar's name has some symbolism to it! Real wasps having a reputation of stinging without reason or being aggressive, when in reality they're normally just protecting their hives..

Oooo, thanks for pointing out, that’s delicious.

Most of the time, Canon!Waspwhisker has blue eyes since he’s a gray and white cat… but none of his kits have blue eyes anyway, and there’s too many cats with this color scheme anyway.

So maybe I’ll make BB!Waspwhisker have BRIGHT yellow eyes, just like a yellowjacket. I’ll even make the gray patch on xeir head resemble the T-shape that a common wasp has. This mark helps distinguish a more “aggressive” common wasp from the passive (but larger) german wasp

thesnailphilosopher asked:

i NEED to know more about waspwhisker/waspstar now that xey seem to be leader during TBC/ASC. are xey as levelheaded as leafstar or more aggressive? i think it would be fun if xey were willing to defend skyclans separate culture WAY MORE than leafstar was willing to. that would especially bring conflict with the imposter and maybe could even lead to a battle!

I’m leaning HEAVILY towards doing it. Killing off Leafstar during Squirrelflight’s Horror by having Juniperclaw poison their food makes perfect sense. He was trying to make them desperate to leave the territory, so they’d invade the Sisters’ camp.

Plus, then I can delete the Meadow Saffron subplot. There was no new plant that suddenly showed up like a big coincidence RIGHT as tensions escalated– Sparkpelt can just have gotten a bite of the poisoned food somehow.

(Maybe a diplomatic meeting… I’ll think about it.)

Anyway, here’s an Intro to BB!Waspwhisker, and how xey would act as Waspstar in comparison to BB!Leafstar;

WASPWHISKER

  • Once the ShadowClan family tree is complete, I will be going back to SkyClan’s overhaul and making it more significant.
  • But in the meanwhile, Waspwhisker is a very close family cat to xeir mate Fallowfern, and kids; Plumwillow, Rabbitleap, and Creekfeather.
  • (Nettleplash might be gone, unsure.)
  • I really like Creekfeather for absolutely no reason. I just like his name lmao. SO I’m probably going to put him into The Kin so I can get mileage out of him as a villain
  • Having Waspwhisker have to fight and maybe even kill xeir own son sounds absolutely JUICY. Push this guy to the BRINK
  • Show, over and over, how Waspwhisker is willing to put SkyClan above everything xey’ve ever loved.
  • When The Kin absorbed a significant portion of SkyClan, Waspwhisker took Leafstar’s side. Though xey can be tough, xey’re always fair and rational.
  • The reason to exclude Daylight Warriors makes no sense and is just based on pride, in xeir eyes. The Daylight Warriors are not the ones attacking the camp right now, are they?
  • There are SkyClan Warriors in the gorge that night, and there are traitors.
  • And if that includes Creekfeather… then so be it. Creekfeather has made his choice.
  • You might think that Waspwhisker is a mean person. Xey’re not.
  • In fact, when it comes to friends and family, Wasp’s compassion is absolutely limitless.
  • Plumwillow and Rabbitleap get their love of long discussions from xem, as a Ba Waspwhisker was always encouraging their curiosity.
  • Xey like to answer questions with more questions, and guide kits and apprentices by leading them to the right answer instead of outright telling them.
  • The thing that makes Waspwhisker so brutal is that, well… xey just don’t see the value in being overly generous. Xey want what xey are owed.
  • Down to the last scrap of fur, the final droplet of blood.
  • As a warrior who has gone through so much, loved so thoroughly, and serves a people who have lost everything, shouldn’t respect come with that?
  • SkyClan has been cheated, threatened, and betrayed from the moment they were driven from the forest. Waspwhisker believes in reciprocity like it’s a bank account– xey simply want the positives and the negatives to be in balance.
  • It feels clear to xem that the moment they stepped paw into the new forest, the Forest Four saw them as pitiable.
  • They were not equal. SkyClan is a mixed-blood Clan of ex-kittypets and loners.
  • The politeness that defines SkyClan, helped to keep coalitions of cats together at a distance through forgiveness and cordiality, is a funny joke to Forest Four.
  • Though times are changing in Clan Culture, strength is currently still a stronger value than diplomacy.
  • Leafstar was playing by SkyClan rules. They have their own values, traditions, even a copy of the warrior code that diverges earlier.
  • But Waspwhisker can see– what at first seems “amusing” about SkyClan to the Forest Four is quickly hardening into contempt.
  • And that contempt is mutual.
  • Forest Four cats are proud, self-absorbed, xenophobic, and stubborn. And they don’t even realize that.
  • They’re so used to only ever dealing with each other. With their big bluffs, political showboating, and ceremonial fights.
  • To Waspwhisker, it seems as though Forest Four cats see battle like a game. One you play together, with ancient, unspoken rules that SkyClan has been locked out of for generations.
  • It’s been so long since they’ve known REAL fear that they’ve forgotten it. SkyClan hasn’t.
  • Claws aren’t toys; battle isn’t a game. To SkyClan, their skills are a martial art.
  • To be respected.
  • In SkyClan’s conversation about what “version” of the Warrior Code they will use, and how they interact with other Clans, Waspwhisker has always felt uneasy about the very premise.
  • Who interprets the Code, to begin with? Us, or them?

WASPSTAR

  • If I end up going with this, Leafstar will die of poisoning in Squirrelflight’s Horror.
  • Juniperclaw did it to try and convince SkyClan that the Sisters ARE a threat. He wants them out of ShadowClan territory.
  • At first, Heartstar is going to refute any accusations of her deputy/nephew doing this poisoning. Nepotism is her consistent weak spot.
  • Waspwhisker might have died too, but someone tasted poison.
  • (Maybe I’ll have it be the wounded sister they are holding as a prisoner. She can recognize a flower in a spoonful of soup and lurch foward to slap it out of their paw, then dump over the pot. Maybe when Squilf’s about to have a bite, so there’s a big accusation that the sister only stopped it to try and help the one who’s been nice to her)
  • But in any case, when Waspwhisker finds out that it was a Forest Four warrior who did this…
  • It really solidifies in xem that xeir uneasiness was right.
  • Juniperclaw may have acted alone, but his feelings were born out of a deeper spite. One that Leafstar was too optimistic about.
  • They’ll never take SkyClan seriously if something is not done about Juniperclaw. Exile is a JOKE.
  • The only thing that Forest Four cats seem to respect is brutality.
  • So xey will GIVE them brutality.
  • You demand we follow your version of this code?
  • “We’ll start with a true warrior not needing to kill to win his battles, unless it is necessary for self-defense. Understand that I have no reason to believe Juniperclaw would not do it again. This was self-defense.”
  • If the Forest Four can’t even be consistent about Commandment 1, then they wouldn’t be able to handle how SkyClan interprets the rest.
  • Xey insist SkyClan matters will be handled by SkyClan. When a law would affect another Clan, then we can discuss it.
  • Like Bramblestar, Waspstar refuses to be pushed around.
  • Unlike Bramblestar, they aren’t a particularly emotional or biased person. In fact, Waspstar is cold.
  • That reputation is exactly what xey want, though. Let it precede us. “If they fear us, we live in peace. If they respect us, we live in peace. I offer the choice of which type of harmony we have together.”
  • A good diplomat realizes quickly that Waspstar is not unreasonable, though. Getting xem to do anything is a matter of demonstrating mutual benefit.
  • Or making a show of goodwill.
  • Hawkwing is chosen as Waspstar’s deputy because of his compassion and commitment.
  • They’re not TOO different as well, and that’s a plus to Wasp. Xey want the deputy to see eye-to-eye with xem, but still be bold and emotional enough to launch a challenge if needed.
  • Xey have thought fondly of Hawkwing ever since Plumwillow’s mate went missing, and Hawkwing became a father to Wasp’s grandkits.
  • Unfortunately, I can see Waspstar either respecting the Impostor a lot (for living by the same brutality he demands of other Clans) OR coming to a huge battle against the Impostor (for trying to force SkyClan to live a certain way).
  • In contrast to BB!Leafstar, who would think Bramblefake is a lunatic from the very beginning.

In a nutshell; If the two leaders heard the phrase, “an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind,”

Leafstar would hum and smile, praising the wisdom of the words. There are many ways to win a battle, and she does not want SkyClan to have to lose its peaceful life after enduring so much hardship. “That which cannot be fixed must be broken, and revenge is not something that can be repaired.”

Waspstar would gently shake xeir head. That hope died with her. Either SkyClan will choose the change they make, or it will be taken. Our new neighbors respect only one thing, and if we want our kittens to live in peace, then we must study war, “If the enemy has taken your eye, take both of theirs.”
