About the Story + Tags

In the depths of the world’s forests, the peaks of mountains, even the shores of lakes and seas, there exists creatures that some may think are mythical, but in truth they are all too real…

Dinquigons, as they are known, are a powerful species of guardian beasts born with the duty of protecting all living creatures from the monsters that seek to harm them. With that power, though, comes the weight of great responsibility, and not all of them are up to the task…

This story follows a pair of sisters named Kirin and Scorch. As the two grow up knowing their responsibilities as a dinquigons, they initially accept their roles. However, both of them, along with some of their friends and loved ones, soon realize that the battle they are fighting isn’t exactly what it seems. As war is waged against the monsters of the forest, the sister find themselves fighting not just against their enemies, but the very traditions, laws, and creatures they once stood for.
