The "Beginner's Guide" Update:

So much to announce and discuss here woah. Anyways happy to announce that the first part of " The Beginner's Guide to Desert's Edge" is now out on youtube for your viewing. This will be a 3 part series before diving into the other shorts that we will be working on alongside some comics which will be shared here as well as an archive.

Other than that, I have a major animation or I like to call it "mini episode" in the works. I've been chipping at it for a year now but I'll be hopefully psuhing it out in the very near future.

The "Air Conditioned Desert" Update:

Well it's been a hot minute! More to discuss and announce! If you haven't seen it yet, the "Air Conditioned Desert" animation is out! Go check it out and feast your eyes. Alongside this, I am happy to announce that we've added more characters to the secondary cast tab! And if everything goes well, the second part to "The Beginner's Guide to Desert's Edge" will be released around June!

Which is fine because that means I can dish out something of better quality at a faster pace now <:) I'm also trying to optimize this site more but trying to figure out how. RILEY MELS

Riley is the owner of one of the largest casinos on the strip, named "The Star's Oasis".
She manages and operates the entire casino with the help of her computer programs, HDMI and the workers there. Because of the income she produces, she has more influence on The Strip besides Lucky, a very close friend to her. She buried herself in work the majority of the time but when she decides to be out in public, she talks to the casino patreons to get them to come back over and over.

GAMORI VALENTINE

Ms. Valentine is the owner of Deserts Edge's bar and club titled "The Heart's Suite".
Whenever someone is troubled with love and need advice, Gamori is the lady you'd go to. She has a heart of gold and a strong will, she isn't easy to push over or give attitude to. She is friends with many of the elites of Desert's Edge and listens in on their gossip when they attend her bar.

NILES TONOPAH (AREA 51)

Area 51 runs a mafia / CIA like group that monitors the wealthy Strip of Desert's Edge.
A strong woman at heart who wouldn't hesitate to throw someone to the fishes, she does her best to keep calm and collected during dire situations. But this does not mean at some various points, she will fly off the handle. Her demeanor is hard to read, being very conspicious with her emotions. Despite coming off as "serious" and terrifying, she genuinely cares about people and wouldn't hesitate to help people in need at any given moment.

NILES TONOPAH (AREA 52)

Weapons dealer, smuggler, and tinker, Area 52 is a cunning and charming elite specializing in the weapons department.
Always trying to get his hands the latest technology, Area 52 is quite the cut-throat business man and isn't afraid to play dirty when he sets his sights on something. Despite his business decisions, he is a people person, always making connections and keeping in touch.

JOHNNY "STARDUST" JUPITERS

Actor, Performer, Singer, and Visionary, Johnny Stardust is the most famous of the actors in Desert's Edge.
Known for his lead roles in stageplays and dramatic shows, Johnny sports a different mask for each one. Having an interest with technology and mask making, Stardust brings nothing but the best to his works. Without the charisma and charm, he is arrogant, smug and short tempered.

NORA ALPIN

The Creustacean Queen aka Nora Alpin is a half shrimp-human elite deriving from Saphica. She controls the imports and exports coming from every single planet in Desert's Edge.On the outside she is cold, ruthless, and chaotic. She wields her power with an iron fist as she commands her army of shrimp. Her right-hand man, Westley, is her nerdy prince charming as he is her personal scientist.

The World in which the present laws does not guarantee saftey, but the communities do.

The Constellation Cowboy aka Ryder Radigan is Desert's Edges' most infamous bounty hunter; not only with having the quickest draw in the entire system but also going after high priced criminals and being successful in doing so.The cowboy goes on the hunt for the highest priced bounty in Desert's Edge known as "Mack Cassidy", having 85,000 over his head and counting. Upon confrontation and a fight, Ryder becomes the first man to take him down. Turning him in though becomes a hassle with Mack himself causing problems on purpose and with other bounty hunters wanting a cut of the profit as well.As they continue on their journey, they grow fond of one another and rather than Ryder turning him in, he instead let's him go, in which in turn results in the two parining up together to go on bounty hunts, tasks and much more.With the salesman coming in later down the line, the trio eventually end up working together. While they're not necessarily the best, coordinated team, they get the job done by any means.

“We Can’t Change What’s Done, We Can Only Move On"

Outside of his usual hunting job, he's a farmer / rancher who tends to his radiated mutated animals on his ranch.Despite his demeanor being terrifying to those who don't know him well, Ryder has a kind cowboy heart and a strong sense of fairness to those who he knows whose had it rough. He is quite level-headed in most scenarios and won't hesitate to do the right thing. Even though he's well known through Desert's Edge, he's shy when it comes to being put on the spot and he sure does have a soft heart for romance.

Mack is a man with an inflated ego, cool hair and speed. He has never been caught by Bounty Hunters and he's "never" lost. He's the type to be all talk or sometimes he just resorts to bragging about how cool he is. Alongside being able to fight, he's quick on his feet and can harness electricity within his hands.He currently holds the highest priced bounty over his head in Desert's Edge, being worth 85,000 dollars alive with the price slowly getting higher. Despite his confident exterior, his genuine personality is different than what he puts out.
He cares about his friends immensely and would do anything for them to the point of bordering on self sacrificing. He's a carefree idiot with psyhcological baggage.

"I've been cursed to deal with the awful cards the universe has decided to give me. All I ask is for the comfort knowing that I am someone or something."

Your Local door to door traveling salesman! You may spot him going from door to door offering you a catalogue of lamps, watches, clocks or trinkets but he never fails to give you that friendly smile and greeting. He's charismatic on the job to make deals but off the clock, he's a tired man who just really needs some good sleep.While he may get irritated, he snaps in a way of being passive aggressive or just tearing your ego down to nothing. His emotions can also range from uncaring to extreme stress. Unfortunately, his job doesn't provide enough money so when he landed into Desert's Edge, he became a conning Private Eye, selling information on bounties and hunters alike for compensation while scamming clients out of their money. He now currently has a bounty on head for 12,000 dollars.

I am an artist with an interest in the paranormal, the analog horror genre, webcore/liminal genre, cowboys, and all sorts of other stuff. If you would like to know more about my interests, don't be afraid to take a walk around the suburbs. When I'm not working on art or college, I usually play video games such as IEYTD (Big fixation atm), Fallout or Red Dead Redemption. My interests vary from time to time and you'll see that happen.
