Strengths and skills:

Structure: His small size makes him speedy and agile, Wintergreen seems to leap into the air like a compressed spring and land with the lightness of a feather.

Attention to detail: The buck is very analytical and due to his fine memory can recall conversations and things shared in them exceptionally well.

Reading others: While he prefers keeping his own expression sharp and composed, Wintergreen is unrelentingly skilled in noticing the more minor changes in the behaviours and expressions of others.

Blending into the snow: The one season Wintergreen feels the most comfortable in is of course the winter. His pale fur and small size render the buck's figure near invisible against the icy landscape.

Weaknesses and disadvantages:

Fragility: Though skilled, Wintergreen is far from immune to the fact that due to his small size and body type, he has a clear disadvantage in combat.

Stamina: Wintergreen's energy wears down quickly.

Ego: He carries grudges towards those who may have insulted him, and those often affect his decision making.

Eyes sensitive to light: Exiting the darkness of the warren's tunnel system is      always a risk to the albino rabbit as the sudden change in light leaves him practically  blinded for a short moment.

Appearance: No larger than some of the youngest privates, the white buck is an exceptionally small rabbit. Wintergreen doesn't appear intimidating in the slightest, but his strikingly red eyes serve him well as he's sure to shoot a nasty, piercing stare toward those who dare look at him too long. The buck has abnormally small ears, typical for a runt, but he's inherited the messy cheek fur of his father.

Backstory:

-KIT-

Born as the runt of a larger litter to his mother, Captain Nightshade and to his father, who at the time went by the name of Sergeant Rahilil, Wintergreen and his siblings spent their early moons in the pit. As the smallest pale-furred kit in his litter, Wintergreen was sometimes the target of his siblings' mean pranks and got picked on during their play fights. He stuck out from the rest of his family very clearly with his white coat, but fortunately he supported the same sort of messy fur on his cheeks as his father did.

The kit was rather secluded, keeping himself entertained by studying the scraps of plants that fell from outside the pit and thus educated himself on some basic knowledge about herbs. Most of them were brown and decaying, flattened by the paws of the other prisoners. But Wintergreen soon developed an eye for distinguishing details and features that allowed him to tell one scrap of plant matter apart from another.

Though quiet and appreciative of personal space Wintergreen was never the nervous or the easily spooked kind. But there were of course some things that managed to leave a deep imprint on the young rabbit's growing character. Coltsfoot adored all his siblings, no matter how rowdy they would sometimes be, but he had an especially soft spot for his pale brother. This deep brotherly love was mutual, and Coltsfoot and Wintergreen formed a strong bond during their kithood moons. Coltsfoot was also the only one of Wintergreen's siblings whom he did not mind wrestling with. But accidents happen and  it so happened that one day Coltsfoot had his brother pinned down a little too harshly and Wintergreen responded out of impulse by scraping Coltsfoot's nose with his small and sharp claws. Neither of them had meant to hurt the other and fortunately this incident never left any lasting effects on their relationship.

But the minor injury he'd inflicted on his sibling surely contributed to his fear of blood and gore to such a level that even as a private, Wintergreen still hated the idea of staining his paws.

Then there was his other brother whom Wintergreen had been surprisingly close with during their first moon of life. Ragwort stood, as all of his other siblings, taller than Wintergreen and supported a dull, dark coat. Downpour had told his kits that Ragwort looked a lot like their grandfather despite not having any distinctive fur on his head or his shoulders. But it soon became apparent that something wasn't right with Ragwort… Wintergreen paid attention to his state and it was obvious he was growing sicker and weaker as the days dragged on. In a litter of five kits living in the filthy pit it wasn't a surprise to their parents that one of their young had fallen deathly ill. They did everything in their power to aid Ragwort, even dragging the young rabbit out to be seen by the healer but there was no helping him.

Wintergreen was sorrowful when he was told his brother would die soon, but followed his parents and their healer's instructions and stayed further away from Ragwort in the fear that whatever he had was contagious. The family abandoned Ragwort and left him to die, but oddly enough he still ate. He still breathed and he never stopped breathing. Though incredibly weak and sick, Ragwort never fell victim to the black rabbit of death but his family had already moved on with their lives

Ragwort and his continued existence turned into something different for the white kit and the rest of his remaining family.

"He's a burden to us and to this warren."

Downpour had told Wintergreen bitterly, warning the boy to ensure that he'd not become like Ragwort.

There was also a certain Captain who for a reason unknown to the kit, took interest in training and educating him far before he was due to having his own mentor. Captain Narcissus together with Captain Half face paid the kit occasional visits, manipulating the boy with the promises of a head start among the other privates if he obeyed every, single, word, that the two does told him. His training with them consisted of not only lessons of combat and agility, but Half face decided to host a harsh lesson of life for Wintergreen. She invited him to come along and see the death of an old, sick buck and reminded Wintergreen to remain loyal and obedient if he wasn't keen on meeting the same fate.

Witnessing the sandy Captain's brutal death would never sit quite right with Wintergreen, but he never made a peep to speak out about it to anyone and never challenged the two does that had so generously taken him under their wing. From that day onward the growing kit followed them religiously, acting almost like a minion more than a student if just for the sake of fulfilling their expectations for him and receiving praise for following through with commands.

With his and his other three siblings' spirits raised high about the prospect of ranking up together, Wintergreen gained confidence and began training with Coltsfoot, Grizz and his sister Bayberry. But then something unexpected happened, that shattered their slowly forming feelings of unity and hopefulness. One day, when the young rabbits had reached the age of 5 moons, their father got ordered to take part in a raid on Buttercup land to retrieve food and herbs their forest was deprived of and what their warren desperately needed. He returned without his gatherings and a day after his arrival back to the warren with the rest of their raid patrol Downpour lumbered back to the pit where his young resided, clenching rations in his jaws. He'd lost his ears and rank for disobedience.

-PRIVATE-

Though his parents originally doubted Wintergreen's capabilities, he proved everyone in his family wrong soon after beginning his proper training with Captain Wasp. Wintergreen idolized every aspect of his mentor. The older buck, though an albino like the young rabbit, was otherwise everything he was not. Tall, strong, respected, charming though a little feared. Wintergreen wanted to be exactly like his mentor, and they did have a lot in common. So much so that on a couple occasions the two were mistaken to be family. Still being bitter of his father's cowardice, Wintergreen did in fact wish Wasp were his father instead. But fortunately his anger dulled with time and the young rabbit learned to live with the reality of their ruined family reputation and took it up as his duty to ensure that he'd do his part in bettering their name.

Of course the young rabbit still kept in close touch with the two does who'd helped him to flower in the first place and Wintergreen ate up every word the Captains told him and pushed himself during every sparring session. He was taught to read others without asking them a single question and to not associate with those he deemed not worthy of his time or his energy. But most importantly he was taught unconditional respect towards anyone standing above him in either rank or ability. Wintergreen became cunning and cold, only softening up his behavior when alone with the few rabbits closest to him.

After two of his brothers, Coltsfoot and Grizz had both had sadly met unfortunate and sudden fates, Wintergreen was quick to take advantage of their absence. Making an effort to make himself even more visible, the young rabbit spoke with and even 'befriended' some of his higher ups. This was all of course in an effort to further strengthen his good reputation and to leave a lasting impression of his abilities.

Even if during this time Bogweed was in crucial need of able soldiers anyway, Wintergreen's unrelenting ambition to reach his goal was surely the final blow that granted him his promotion.

-SERGEANT-

But yet this rank up didn't manage to elate his views on the war or his own position in it. Wintergreen doesn't know if Coltsfoot is still alive and being held captive, or if he's been killed in some painful, brutal fashion and used as a sacrifice to the Omnis. And in the hopes that Coltsfoot does still live, Wintergreen has promised to do his damned best to rescue his brother and bring him back home.

Roleplay Example:

The Sergeant appeared to hold her tongue as the two rabbits began bickering at each other again, the distaste in their tones was clearly audible and unhidden. Wintergreen took note when Ragwort mentioned Grizz and their parents, ranking their much larger, stronger brother above the white buck just to rub it in his face. But Wintergreen allowed his sibling to ramble on like a maddened rabbit, bitter of the fact that their parents had cut ties with him until he turned his head and wretched while coughing loudly. This made the Private lean away from him on instinct.

"Precisely." Wintergreen uttered with a narrow scowl. The self-loathing attitude in which Ragwort spoke of himself was a sign of incapability and it was wearing down on the small buck's nerves. He also felt upset and oddly mournful, although he wasn't expressing his sorrow openly "Are you forgetting that I outrank you? Either you take care of this mess that you brought about, or I can order you back into the pit." He sternly said, not paying any attention to Sergeant Celosia "Which will it be, brother?"

Are you okay with a plot related death should you leave the group by your own accord or be removed from the group for whatever reason?: sure!

If not, how would you like your character to die/disappear?: Wintergreen could meet his end leading a fox or a similar elil away from the warren or his fellow rabbits. His white coat eventually being the main reason said predator managed to not lose sight of him.
