5		How to use the Gold Calculator
6		◆ First, go to File at the top and select "Make a Copy" (on mobile, it's under the three dots at the top, then "Share & Export"). This allows multiple people to use the calculator at the same time without confusion! ◆ Use the calculator by choosing which tab you want to use, and fill it in with the relevant information: number of fullbodies, wordcount, etc. Your gold count formula will appear in the light grey box. Click the box and copy it! Before submitting, please make sure you remove the parts that are still at zero—that will save you some space in the description. You are welcome to change the formatting to suit your preferences. ◆ Click the "Example" buttons to see an example of how a calculation might look. You will be prompted to let a script run, which we unfortunately can't do anything about, but it's safe to do so! If you don't feel comfortable running the script, it's still completely useable, you'll just need to clear the calculator manually. If you choose to use it, you may come across a page that says "Google hasn't verified this app." In order to continue, click "Advanced," then "Go to Button (unsafe)." You can then click "Allow", and you will be able to run the script. ◆ Unsure of what something means? Check the little arrows for explanations! ◆ If you run into trouble, or have any questions, let us know!

21		◆ If you feel like one part of your piece was quick art/writing but the rest of it was not, feel free to add half numbers instead of whole. For example, if you've drawn 5 fullbodies but one of them is just a silhouette (that you've decided is quick art), you would put 4.5 under fullbodies. ◆ This works best for "normal" art—if you make something more complex, such as a comic page, copy the needed calculator a few times (or use it, clear, and use again) for each panel. Same goes for animations. ◆ For crafts, sculptures, figures, plushies, and other tangible works that are not 2D drawings/paintings, we use a scoring system of 5 Gold per hour spent creating the piece, plus bonuses (other character, wings, etc). ◆ If you are unsure about your scoring, need help figuring something out, or need a hand in using the calculator, as always please feel free to send staff a message via ModMail or #ask-staff, and we are happy to assist you!
