I should drop a quick intro post up to pin lmao-

Hi! I’m Drew and I draw pictures ✏️ I especially love drawing fantasy and TTRPG characters and OCs, and I also do hand drawn 2D animation 🌟

  • A digital illustration of a star-aligned genasi (elemental) woman sitting amongst a cloud of fireflies. She has blue skin marked with glowing swirls and constellations, as well as a gnarled wooden prosthetic leg. She is wearing soft, draping garments, including a cotton bustier and a lavender robe. She is leant forward slightly, examining a firefly that has landed on her finger.ALT

It’s Secret Satan time again, and this time I got to draw Celeste for @/RaindropsLovely on twitter!

Celeste’s design was a lot of fun to work with, even if I was a little floored by the level of detail when I first opened the refs πŸ˜…

  • An illustration depicting a young, androgynous person with their back mostly toward the viewer. They are turned slightly so that their face is seen in profile, although their eyes are covered by shadow, leaving their expression unreadable. To their back is drawn a coffin-shaped box - an NHP casket from the Lancer TTRPG. It is a similar size to the person's torso, and covered in scratches, dents and peeling stickers. The background of the piece has been covered in black pencil textures, and both the person and the casket are fading into the darkness. The drawing is punctuated by two splashes of colour, both in a textured, glowing green ink. On the casket, a series of sharp lines lead into a spiral at its centre. On the person, a single line extends from the place where their eye would be, down past the bottom of their face. Grey, monotyped text across the top and bottom of the image reads "There is a body and a deep pit, and both are named Tartarus."ALT

Brainrot for my lancer pilot and their totally stable NHP. Nothing is wrong with either of them.

  • A digital illustration of The Traveller, the main character from the puzzle game Chants of Sennaar. They are a humanoid figure in a long red robe, with a hood that obscures their face in shadow completely. They are holding an open red journal. Behind them looms the tower - each section drawn with the stylised colours and architecture found in-game. Around the traveller swirl a series of glowing glyphs in the style of each language from the game. The devotees' shows a mix of 'person' and 'up/great'. The warriors' is a combination of 'person' and 'go/pass'. The bards' is a combination of 'free' and 'person'. The alchemists' is a combination of 'open' and 'person'. Finally, the anchorites' is a combination of 'key' and 'talk', and sits at the peak of the tower.ALT

So Chants of Sennaar is a good game-

  • A 4 by 3 grid featuring a selection of art pieces, one drawn for each month of the year in 2023. January features a line drawing of a space ship sitting on a rocky landscape. February features a grey-skinned elven man wearing fashionable clothes. March features an inkling and an octoling from the video game Splatoon, covered in ink and laughing together. April features a faerie with a jack-o-lantern for a head, holding a giant D20 shaped candle. May shows two people sat in a bathroom, one combing bleach into the other's hair. June is a coloured sketch of an inkling using a slosher bucket. July is a coloured sketch of a person with cyan hair and spiked tentacles coming out of their back. August shows a sticker design featuring a great axe and some gaming dice. September is an illustration of a Tiefling leaning back in an office chair in front of a sunset seen through the window. October is a chaotic doodle of the same faerie as earlier throwing their jack-o-lantern head to the floor, where it explodes. November is an illustration of two sea elves, one pinning the other against a wall with his morningstar. December is an illustration of a young elven woman holding a sword that glows with a striking green light.ALT

January isn’t over yet I can still post this right-

Funnily enough, all of my favourite pieces last year were all for other people - December, February and July 🌟

  • a digital illustration depicting Nehesi, a large, powerful sphynx, prowling through an Ancient Greek temple. Her head to turned to look directly towards the viewer, her golden eyes glowing brightly in the dim candlelight. Blood is smeared down her chin and neck, dripping from her teeth as she snarls. Her forelegs are also drenched in blood, and she leaves dark smears on the floor as she drags her claws across it. Behind her stands a marble and gold statue, depicting a goddess holding a book and quill. Her face is in shadow, darkening her expression. At the foot on the statue are five candles, some of which have just blown out. In the corner lies the crumbled ruins of another statue - visible in the rubble is the head and golden spear of Athena. Scattered throughout the temple are the silhouettes of slumped bodies, some laying in pools of blood.ALT

A close up of the shynx's fore paws, drenched in blood. She leaves dark smears on the floor as she drags her claws across it.ALT
A close up of the sphynx's face. She is wearing a helmet decorated with the symbols of Athena - olive branches, an owl, and a model sphynx. Her golden eyes glow brightly in the dim candlelight. Blood is smeared down her chin and neck, dripping from her teeth as she snarls.ALT
A second version of the full illustration, but this time without any shading. This reveals the details patterning of the sphynx's wing feathers, as well as the bright, airy nature of the temple. In this view the bright red of the blood is stark against the more desaturated browns and creams of the sphynx and the temple.ALT

β€œI hunt for you with bloodied feet across the hallowed ground…”
Secret santa number two, this time for my personal DND group, featuring my friend’s pc Nehesi.
This piece got real ambitious real quickly so imma treat yall to some detail shots, as well as a flat colour version because I spent AGES detailing those feathers only to shade them into oblivion lmao

This piece marks my first proper foray into drawing effects in my celshaded style, and while it took a LOT of attempts to get there, I’m pretty jazzed with how it turned out. Anyway, Girls with Fucked Up Swords, my beloved πŸ’š

  • a digital illustration depicting two sea elves: Morrissey and Hawkridge. Morrissey is pinning Hawkridge to a wall, pressing the handle of his morningstar into her throat. His expression is stern and resentful, his eyes shadowed as they stare into hers. Hawkridge's eyes are wide with a mixture of surprise and fear. Her mouth is open as she struggles to breath. Both elves have a similar appearance as siblings, each with pale blue skin, curly, dark hair, and cultural tattoos on their cheeks.ALT

Morrissey can have a little non-canon emotional catharsis. as a treat.
    Healthy sibling relationships whomst-

  • a two panel comic depicting an ancient greek themed DND party eating around a campfire. The party includes a large sphinx, a buff gorgon woman, an animated suit of armour, a human man and a nymph. In the first panel, the party are relaxed, some eating while the nymph is talking (the words are not specified). In the second panel, we see some of the nymph's speech: "... blessed be Kyrah and the New Therotic Pantheon..." The text is bolded for emphasis. Various members of the party are shown reacting in horrified surprise at the sentence - the sphinx is bug-eyed with her claws out, the animated armour has readied their warhammer, and the gorgon is doing a spit-take. The nymph is oblivious to their reactions.ALT

You'll be fine."ALT

A vintage-inspired travel poster for the setting of our Lancer RPG game, inspired by a quote from another party member.
I actually did most of this piece back in June but then I uh. I broke. Both arms. So anyway I finally got round to finishing this up!

  • Op what. How. Are you okay? This looks amazing I'm showing all my friends. Please don't break your arms again. Unless you want to idk

  • Lmao I forgot that lancer posts often break containment and also that I sound absolutely unhinged when I mention that without context- long story short, I was stood on a chair to clean a window, leant too far, and then was decidedly no longer stood on said chair. whoops. I’m all healed up now though, with no lasting damage! I’m with you on the ‘don’t do that again’ front though 😂

Anyway, I’m so glad you like the art! 💙

  • Panel 1. We see a roughly drawn and coloured scene of a hot, sunny day - the sun is drawn in the top corner, reminiscent of a child's drawing.ALT
Panel 2. A faerie with a jack-o-lantern for a head walks into frame. They are wearing a vest and shorts, and sweating in the sunshine. They are also using forearm crutches to walk.ALT
Panel 3. The faerie stops in the centre of the panel and looks up towards the sun, a concerned expression on their face. They are still sweating.ALT
Panel 4. The faerie looks down at their clothing - it is clearly designed for hot weather.ALT
Panel 5. The faerie stares straight toward the viewer with a slightly pained smile. They begin talking via a round speech bubble that says "IT."ALT
    Panel 6. "IS."ALT
Panel 7. "OCTOBER." The final word of the faerie's speech covers the entire width of the panel, obscurring the faerie from view. It is bold, and underlined with a sharp, jagged line.ALT
Panel 8. The faerie grabs the sides of its head, still staring straight toward the viewer.ALT
Panel 9. The faerie lifts it's pumpkin head clean off its shoulders, holding it high in the air. We see a neck stump with a small candle on it.ALT
Panel 10. The faerie slams their pumpkin head downwards, smashing it wildly against the ground. We see an action frame as the pumpkin explodes in the impact.ALT
